If I could give zero stars I would.

Placed an order for 3 dresses in size 8/10 (S), got them, tried on and found them too big. I emailed their customer service team explaining the problem and asked for a refund. They attempted to resolve the issue by offering to send replacements free of charge in the size I needed so as to not incur the return shipping fees of $30-$50 per item ??!!!
So I had a look on their website and they do not have a smaller size than 8/10(S). I explained as they do not have a suitable replacement option I'd like a refund.

They got back to me suggesting I choose another style that better suits my size and fit.
I will not be going back and forth with this, have asked twice for a refund and will not be paying the extortionate shipping fees to post it back to them.

Have raised a chargeback with my card issuer.

Scam site. Says it’s London. Based in China. Very poor quality items only vaguely similar to products in photo. Refuse to take responsibility for returns. AI based communications. Excuse after excuse. Have had to ask bank to handle refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I note they already have a new online shop with same product photos and a new company name….

I used this company unfortunately without checking them out - I think it is a scam - no order was received- and there was no response when I asked for my money back - do not use

The Maurice every day trousers delivered to me do not match the photos, description and specifications ( cotton/ polyester blend) on the website. They are made of poor quality 100% polyester with a non matching stitching at the waist and look and feel cheap.
I requested a returns address but the company has repeatedly declined to provide one. They have offered for me to keep the purchase and
a) send a different product at no extra cost
or b) receive a maximum 30% refund
neither of which would satisfy me,
but haven’t supplied a returns address. They say the cost to me to return the item would be almost as much as the value of the purchase, and the process very complicated.
I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend others to buy from this company.

What an awful company. I am kicking myself I fell for their advertising tricks and did not read the reviews first. The dress I received was awful with no shape and the material was so synthetic and cheaply made. It was advertised as originally £140 reduced to £40. I wouldn't even pay a £1 for it. I have requested a return as their site offered an easy return policy but now they're fobbing me off. They have offered another size if I send another £10 for postage and I can keep original dress for free. I refused that and now they're saying I can either have a further dress in a different size for no extra cost or return and have a refund but it will cost me between £30 to £50 in shipping. I am about to report to my bank under the charge back scheme for good not as described. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Very poor quality items and seems impossible to return. No returns info on the website - you have to email them but they do not respond.
A really bad experience ….. BEWARE!

Didn’t want to give ANY stars! This company sounded and looked good. Item took ages to arrive and was completely mis-represented in the advert. Appalling, cheap fabric, wrong sizing and devoid of any care or sizing labels. Advert offers return for full refund, but then say one will incur customs charges so refund not a good idea. When I raised a dispute with my card company, they re paid the charge immediately, to avoid a dispute!!

I am ashamed to say that I have been caught out by this company who claim to be London based. I made an order before seeing the reviews. Within minutes I cancelled the order. The company would not respond to emails or through their Facebook page and when I finally got an answer they said it was not possible to cancel, but I could add to the order!
Despite numerous emails this company have refused to cancel my order.
Just a warning to anyone who might think of buying from them - DON"T.
I hope people will report them wherever they can. I wish we had minus stars on this site.

This Company have "London" under their heading so you would assume goods come from London but you would be very wrong. They come from China - take an absolute age to get to you and are not as acceptable as the pictures would suggest. They say returns accepted but you have to request a label and then you get response offering 3 options, 1 return at a cost of $50-60, pick something else for free (you will keep what you were originally sent) or take 15% off price and still keep what you were sent. Had I known the items were coming from China I would not have ordered since I am aware of the total hassle getting the items and then attempting to return them because the quality/fit is so poor. I would tell everyone to steer clear of this site - sheep in wolves clothing.

Shame there isn’t a zero. Like everyone else wish I had read the reviews! Same things on this website as SHEIN but at quadruple the price. SHEIN are great at the price but this company are scammers. Ordered a jacket took 2 weeks to come even though they advertise quick delivery. Easy returns - NO they want $50 to return. Offered me 20% of my next order NO then they offered to choose an item for the same amount. Left me no option! Don’t go through the ordering process they say just send an email, no reply! Why dosent that surprise me. Please avoid this company at all costs. They should be closed down

I’ve order a pair of shoes that did not fit and wanted to return them. Despite the ‘Easy Returns’ policy stated, I was first informed I could only get another replacement pair
If I sent another £10. When I pushed further saying I wanted to return them, I was told of £40-50 courier charge needed to send them back. Not exactly ‘Easy’ to return or receive a refund.

Dreadful company. Definitely not located in London. I received the wrong size of item, the quality was not good either. When I emailed for a refund they wanted 10 different photographs. I was then offered a replacement or a return with a fee of "$30-$50".
Do not use this company. Use Temu or Shein if you want poor quality and long delivery times.

This is absolutely a zero star review. I ordered this dress from wilson and carter and few minutes later, I sent a message for cancellation of the order. They sent me a message after 24 hours to say they could not cancel the order and the only option was to exchange it for something else from their shop. I was practically forced to get something i didnt want or keep the order which i also didnt want. Please avoid this company. They are a fraud.

These people are a scam. Will charge you 40-50 dollars for returns. Clothing of bad quality. Claim to be London based - even in emails but are not based in London. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING.

WARNING Wilson & Carter are a Big scam and con!!!
They make out they’re a London based company but the fact is everything is from China - hence the long delivery time and poor quality fabric, a silky shiny material and everything is ill fitting . The clothing is nothing like they depict in the photos.
Returns are impossible.
I wish I’d checked the company before stupidly placing two separate orders, spending over £200. They offered 15% refund if I keep my items saying the cost of returning items is high! But now they just ignore my emails. It’s very stressful and upsetting and I am going to just have to write off seeing any refund. Please don’t fall into the trap I have - Wilson & Carter are very clever to make you think they offer UK quality clothing, but unfortunately it’s quite the reverse. The false claim that returns are easy is a lie!!!

The jacket i bought looked nothing like the one in the photo, that i ordered. It also took a long time to arrive. When I asked for at refund for the £50 jacket, I was told that I'd have to pay return postage which would be £30 to £40 or i could get 10% refund or 100%store credit. I asked for store credit repeatedly but never got it. My emails were ignored. Never buy from this place it's cheap tat rubbish with zero aftercare.

The item I ordered is on TEMU ,at 1/4 of the price ....explains the long delivery times .....yet to receive the sandals, suggested a compromise on the refund ...radio silence . Recommend avoidance !!!!!

Same as everybody else. Wish I had read the reviews first. Pair of sandals delivered today and looked okay until you try to put them on. Velcro straps impossible to reach to attach where they should go. Still waiting for dress that was ordered before the shoes with not much hope that it will be wearable.

I want to share my experience as a warning to other customers who may be considering purchasing from this company.

I recently ordered two pairs of shorts advertised as high‑quality items with a substantial discount. What I received was completely different from what was shown online: the colours were wrong, the fabric was incorrect, and neither item had any manufacturer labels or tags. The quality was far below what the website claimed, and certainly nowhere near the “original price” they advertised.

The most concerning issue, however, is the return process. The company promotes a “full refund if you’re not completely happy,” but what they do not disclose upfront is that returns must be shipped internationally at the customer’s expense — typically $30–$50 USD per item. This makes their refund policy practically unusable and places customers at a significant disadvantage.

Instead of honouring their stated policy, the company repeatedly pushed partial refunds, cashback offers, and store credit, while discouraging a legitimate return. Only after multiple attempts did they offer a resolution that did not require me to pay international shipping fees.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise other consumers to exercise caution when dealing with this business. Product descriptions, pricing claims, and return policies are not clearly or honestly represented, and the process for resolving issues is far more difficult than their website suggests.

I hope this helps others make an informed decision before purchasing.

If there was a minus star, I would give it; they don’t deserve one star.

Do not order from this company. Quality is poor, delivery is slow, garment I ordered didn’t drape/look like on the website. And the refund policy - if you could call it that - is ridiculous. You can either pay $40-$50 to courier the items back to China (which is basically the same price as the garment again); or they offer a 15% refund ie a whole £6.70 on a £44 dress thus ‘saving you the hassle’ of returning the item. What is even more ridiculous is that they offer to send you a replacement dress without having to return the original??

This is a scandal and they should not be trading.
