Winerist helped me plan and book an incredible wine and cooking experience in Santorini a couple of weeks ago. After the original tour I signed up overbooked, one of their team members, Catherine, emailed me directly to find and book the best experience possible. Thanks to Catherine, I ended up in a wine + cooking experience and it was truly the best highlight of our trip to Greece!

The experience was top notch, the guide and chef were awesome, and we walked away with lots of wine and incredible recipes so that we can recreate the experience back home. We've already made plans for this weekend to prepare the meals we learned to cook in the class :)

My friends and I recently enjoyed an amazing wine tour in Tuscany at Fattoria Poggio Capponi. Our guide, Fabio, was very knowledgeable and fun. After an informative tour of the cellars, we had a tasting of 8 great wines accompanied by yummy cheeses, ham, and their incredible olive oil! Then we had the opportunity to relax in their garden enjoying the beautiful view on the vineyards.
Catherine was extremely helpful and kind in arranging our tour in a short time. Thank you! We would definitely recommend this tour and your services to family and friends!

I found Winerist on an internet search for Bordeaux. Catherine was great to engage with in arranging a bespoke trip. We had a great half day city tour with Hela and then two great days with our Sommellier Nicolle. They will do whatever you ask. I wanted to visit small family producers that make wines equally as good as the top large well known chateau, but at better values. Every place was unique in certain aspects in what we learned. Nicolle is well known and connected in the business so you will get to enjoy some fine vintages. We have moved on to Alsace and Catherine has arranged for us to spend a day on the wine route here as well. Just dream it up and trust Catherine!

Ann was fabulous!! She was prepared and had all ready for our day trip. She was so helpful and treated us like royalty. She was knowledgeable about the area and was able to answer questions with good information. Ann made the day most pleasant and fun. I would highly recommend her and if back in the area I would definitely ask for her again ☺️

Amazing tour! The tour guide is very knowledgable, he gave a great history lesson during the trip. Also he is a native English speaker and speak fluent Catalan and Spanish. As a foreigner, I feel lucky as it is easy to understand and help us throughout the trip.
Also the lady at the winery is interesting and explained the things clearly. The wine is good.
We all had a great time.

I had trouble with the initial booking so Catherine helped me. So was extremely helpful and kind. The tour guide (Alex) was awesome! He was very insightful and genuinely so interested in his surroundings it was great to see. The vineyard was so beautiful and the lunch was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Very well organised and professional company. If you are looking to customise a tour to suite your every need then this is the best way to do it. It was also very adaptable in terms of if the weather didn't play its part to substitute a stop for something else. Our guide that was arranged was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around, great sense of humour and made us feel very comfortable.

A couple months ago my wife and I visited Woodchester Valley winery in the beautiful English Cotswolds countryside. The tasting room was new as were the lodgings - if you wanted to make a night out of it.
My favourite wines that day were the Bacchus and the Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc easily rivalled any from the Marlborough region. The staff and winemaker were also very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Nicolle was absolutely fantastic! She took excellent care of us on our trip through the Medoc, and her expertise really shone through as we went through all of the various villages. She knew all of the different appellations and how they came to be, as well as the history of wine in the Bordeaux wine region. Can’t recommend her highly enough - she was incredible!

Our tour of four wineries in the Salnés valley was everything we hoped for and more. We visited two small and two medium-sized wineries and tried delightful wines. We bought three bottles in one, a bottle of Orujo (aka Aguardiente or grappa), and a bottle of sparkling Albariño. All surpassed expectations. We had a fun lunch at an informal eatery known as a "furrancho," where the home made Albariño was excellent. Along the way, we visited the Church of Saint James in Padrón, the Church of Santa Maria de Iria Flavia, where Nobel Price winner Camilo José Cela is buried, and the Lonxa in Lambados. Our guide, Juancho Cuenca was superb: knowledgeable, flexible, excellent English, etc. All in all, this was just perfect and we had a wonderful day.

My colleagues and I had a great experience with Winerist, doing the 2 hour boat tour of the Douro River in Porto with wine tasting and food. The team were quick to accommodate our request of doing it in the evening rather than the norm of the afternoon. The instructions were clear to get to the Marina. Once on the boat, Jorge and Marcel were wonderful hosts. Jorge was very knowledgable about the buildings and bridges and Porto's history. The food and wine were flowing; it was delicious and locally sourced. A true taste of Porto! Thank you!

We took two full-day wine tours in Mendoza, Argentina, focused on malbec and malbec blends. Each day we visited three quite different wineries, ending at the third winery with a wine dinner pairing of 7 courses on one day and 3 courses on another date. Both days we had excellent guides provided by Mendoza Wine Camp and by Uncorked as well as very safe drivers. People who we talked with at the wineries were impressed with the services that Winerist had set up for us. We would definitely recommend Winerist to others.

We had two separate wine tours booked. One with Winerist and one without. Our wine tour/transfer from Cape Town was booked through a different company. Our driver was fun and she really listened to our requests. With this in mind, we went out the next day on our Winerist tour. This tour, booked through Winerist, was interesting and confusing. The driver wasn’t energetic/excited about the tour and he didn’t acknowledge any of our requests related to the wines we were tasting. He also joined us in every tasting where he corrected some of the Wine farm staff on their knowledge/facts about wine. This made the tastings incredibly awkward. He didn’t drink any wine through the day but he sat with us at lunch (he paid for his own meal). We just thought it was a uncomfortable and was not what we expected. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and looked forward to relaxing at the wine farms however our tour guide rushed us along from place to place. We still finished our tour 2 hours early. I can’t say I enjoyed our day much and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Luckily we had a third day in the Winelands and we did everything on our own (with the help of Uber). This was much more enjoyable. If you wanted some assistance, book a driver and ask the hotel or inn to book some tastings for you. Certainly did not meet the expectations and was shockingly disappointing.

Rude and poor mannered stuff. I would not recommend this place. Total disappointment.

We had a fantastic time. Our Mendoza tour gave us a different perspective from traditional wineries. Damian, our guide, has a deep knowledge, he did a great job.

My sister and I did the Douro Valley wine/port tour and it was wonderful! Our host was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The bus ride was about two hours to get to the valley but we were able to stop for a coffee in a quaint scenic town. The venues for the port were interesting and we had excellent hosts to explain their ports and processes. We also had a three course lunch with unlimited wine. It was a fantastic experience, value for money for sure! Would recommend.

Absolutely excellent tour. Our guide took us to 5 very different venues. The first showed us some local architecture whilst we sipped Vinho Verde (my new favourite wine) with a fish croquet, the second was the local liquer Ginja which is cherry, the third was a lovely store selling cheese, cured meats and alcohol and we had port, the fourth beer or wine with Bifana and finally a cheese and wine store. Our guide talked about local history as well as food and wine and took us to a stunning church that looked desolate from the outside. I would recommend this tour as not only an introduction to the food but the culture and a great way to find your feet in this beautiful city.

A great tour with a wonderful tour guide! We had such a blast taking this bicycle tour with Daniele! Would most definitely recommend to anyone interested to get to know some Apulian and olive oil history while riding to a beautiful landscape with a knowledgeable guide! Grazie mille per la esperienza, è stata bellissima!
