I found Sho on Tik Tok and it changed my life. I signed up for the GHA program and ever since day 1, I noticed the positivity that he brought to every meeting. Before signing up for the program, I was getting rejected for jobs and I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I was pretty devasted and at some point felt unmotivated but Sho was a great cheerleader. He truly believes in you and his positive energy is contagious.

For one of the weekly assignments for GHA, we had to write down our target companies and then reach out to people in those companies. I cold messaged a UCLA alumni (like me) who had the role I wanted at my target company. I asked her for a coffee chat and she accepted :) I asked her different questions about the role and the company and at the end, I asked if she could please refer me to the role. Then, she sent my resume to the hiring manager and the recruiter contacted me for a phone screen.

After 3 interviews and a case study, I got the job offer with over a 50% increase in salary! This is honestly my dream job and I would not have done it without Sho. He really emphasized the importance of networking and based on my experience, it really does work. He also gave me hope and because of that, I didn't give up and kept trying. Thank you so much!

His videos are easy to digest and his exercises are great for reflection on what you want out of your career. What helped me the most are his best practice of LinkedIn Networking Guide, Resume, and Cover Letter best examples.

I followed all of his advice and got job interviews for Google, TikTok, Uber, Blinkist etc.

It's unexaggerated, but Sho is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff inside out.

I worked with Sho 1-1 for quite a while in trying to pivot from Finance into Marketing, which seemed like a really daunting jump to me. But Sho gave a lot of concrete advice in how to cater my past work experience and fit it into a marketing lens. He guided me through how to frame my story and pull out specific examples in my current job that showed that I have the exact skillsets that marketers need.

Changing jobs, especially when jumping industries, is always a long process that can be very discouraging. But along the way, Sho always encouraged me and gave me the support I needed to believe in myself. He also gave me really great advice on how to negotiate my salary - something that I never knew how to do previously. In the end, I managed to not only receive multiple offers in the marketing industry, but am going to be joining a company in an industry I'm super passionate about!

I found Sho via Instagram and immediately followed him because I felt he was so genuine. I saw him in my feed for a couple months as I was contemplating my next move and when he announced that he was opening GHA for enrollment, it didn't take much for me to join. I already liked him for the person he was, on top of the gems and nuggets he drops on social media. Throughout GHA, Sho continued to deliver his teachings in his thoughtful, genuine way, which I appreciated so much. He was/is so deeply encouraging and the way he wants the absolute best for everyone is so openly expressed and felt. The support I received in the program was just as important in the journey as the information and guidance. I feel like the comfort, care, and RELIEF I felt in GHA was what really got me to relax about my career switch, and attract and receive my next professional step. Today, I started a new role I am absolutely stoked about (a role that was completely unexpected for me) at a company I'm over the moon about. I'm grateful to have worked with Sho and would recommend him to anyone looking to create and attract change in their lives, to dream bigger, and be available to truly amazing things. Also, definitely want to mention that Stacey was also super amazing and I loved her beautiful bright energy. I interacted with her maybe two or three times, but they were enough to let me know that I was in good hands. Thank you!

The best interviewing tips and career advice I have ever gotten. I am so thankful I found Sho when I did. I went from being out performed in final rounds of interviews to getting two job offers in the same week that both offered me a position ABOVE the one I applied for and both offered me my goal salary!!! Instead of being passively interviewed, I learned how to confidently take charge of my interviews and be an active participant. I out interviewed people that had more experience than I had and broke into industries that I had no previous experience in. I cannot recommend enough!

Do it! The GHA program gives you the overview, structure and action plan that you need to not only be successful in your job search but also to feel motivated and confident that you have the right approach. Job searching, as we know, can easily become dreadful and suck the energy out of you, especially when you get standard rejection replies and don’t get past the first interview. This was my experience searching for jobs before I joined the GHA program and it all changed while I was going through the program applying the strategies as we learned them. GHA is the complete package, where you will learn everything from crafting your CV, excel in interviews to networking. The program has definitely been a game changer for me.

Was a bit iffy when I signed up for Get Hired Academy, but now I truly understand why Sho described it as one of the best investments you can make in your career.

I used the salary expectations blurb verbatim while negotiating with a new company and I start in two weeks with a FIFTY PERCENT RAISE!

I've always been given general career advice throughout my time in college. It has gotten me far and even helped me land a final round interview at Microsoft. However, I didn't get the position since I was unprepared. I'm sure if I took this class earlier, I would've been at Microsoft!

Worhap's videos have been a lot of help for knowing how to navigate the job market and salaries in particular! Been following the videos, secured a Blockchain Developer job & just waiting for them to come back with a final offer!

Completely happy at my current job, but took the advice to interview while you're still happy and I think it may pay off. The role already pays £40k more than I am on now and all that because another one of the tips, I didn't disclose my salary or my salary expectations!
