World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

FLATTERED TO DECEIVE ...
Had used WOR on 4 occasions and was very happy to use them on a 5th but what a disaster. Order went into the system without any hassle but seemingly because it was in Oct there is a problem with getting roses from their suppliers - so we were held up all along the way. The fact that it was a birthday delivery added another dimension. I tried several ways to give them another route - alternative rose selection - but it all went into a 'black hole'. They eventually sent me an email to say that my order had been cancelled and to add salt to the wound my account would receive a credit within the next 14 days. Meanwhile the lady celebrating her 80th birthday missed out on a nice surprise. Not surprisingly I will not be using WOR again. My advice is do the same !

Another beautiful rose at a great value price
Another beautiful rose to gift. World of Roses is my go to for special occasions and they never disappoint. For happy or sad occasions they have a suitable rose, which are delivered well packaged and in good condition. We would not use anyone else. We have multiple WOR roses in our garden and in pots, they are always beautiful. Would definitely recommend

Reluctant to use again
Ordered a rose for a special birthday, first time customer. Compared to a competitor I have had roses from at a better price, the rose was a lot smaller and didn't look that healthy. It had already been cut back and didnt even reach the top of the gift bag unlike the website showed. Was embarassed to give as a gift. To be fair to them, they did send a replacement rose when I queried it with them. Although it had a few more leaves on the cut back plant, it was no bigger. Not sure I would use this company again.
