Am not so young and not so easy with new tech. Installing the esim is not easy for me . Did not got support from a previous esim provider. Since last year bought Wowo and they has been very helpful and made thing easy for me .

I'm on a small island in Malaysia
I'm on a small island in Malaysia - Langkawi - oddly the local provider sim gives me a speed of 0.5mbps (there's no 5G on the island only LTE) but WOWO esim after installation and disconnecting from the physical sim card with local provider gives speeds of 30 mbps ! The tech support (which I had jobs like that many times but rarely get quality service but these guys answer promptly and actually help resolve the issue (in my case i didn't notice that roaming was disabled and their first suggestion at turning that on worked immediately. With a sale going on , they are the least expensive 50GB 30 day data package. Well done guys - I highly recommend WoWo Sim !

Lesson learned
I posted following review earlier and received a response. I did report my problem via email but did not get any advice. Is there a negative star?
I was lured by the excellent reviews and discount into buying 2 eSIMs - one Europe, the other Global before going on a cruise. The Europe worked for short periods I used it in Civitavecchia, Livorno and Naples but did not in Syracuse or Ibiza, though the Global one did. When I reached Tangier, I found out both expired - 9 days for what should had been 30 days coverage. Will stick to my old pals - Maya and Airalo. Some places are just problematic for any eSIM but at least Maya gave a refund in places where it did not work.

After reviewing your account details, both eSIMs were successfully installed, activated, and used until the full 3GB of data was consumed.
Once the allocated data is fully used, the eSIM automatically expires even if the original plan duration has remaining days. This matches what we can see in our system for both the Europe and Global plans.
We completely understand that connectivity can vary between destinations and cruise routes because coverage is controlled by local partner networks, not by location alone. In cases where connection drops or switching carriers doesn’t resolve the issue, our support team is available 24/7 to help immediately, replace profiles, or issue a top-up.
We didn’t receive any support request from you during your trip, so we didn’t have the opportunity to troubleshoot or assist you when the problem occurred. We would have gladly stepped in.
If you still have concerns or feel that coverage was insufficient in certain locations, please contact us directly at support@wowosim.com.
We’re happy to review your sessions and offer an appropriate resolution.

Purchased 2 3gb E-sims for Morocco. Exceptional value, easy to set up and use. Had decent 4g/5g coverage at all times. Will definitely buy for our next trip away.

I had problem setting up the eSIM. It is hard to understand. I got a strange user account that couldn’t be changed. The chat support was very good. Now I hope it works.

Great Support Service from the Online Team
I had problems setting up my wife's eSim on her iPhone. It's the lack of understanding of navigating around an iPhone that is the problem. The online chat backup support was excellent in helping to guide me through the process with great patience. No exaggeration, it took at least two hours but the outcome was successful. I cannot thank the online support enough for the way I was carefully and patiently guided through every step and every option until the solution was arrived at and the Wowo eSim was working.
