I was recommended Wrekin back in 2010 by a local plumbers merchants when having problems with my own Waterside Softener. They advised I would get no better service anywhere else.
Installing kitchens and bathroom in a hard water area I always used Wrekin as my ‘ go to supplier’. I would get my clients to talk direct to them as they would then advise on the best unit to suit their individual requirements.
My client feed back was always of a friendly, professional company with no pressure to buy!
My own Waterside Softener is now 32 years old and is still going thanks to the knowledge of Paul the technical adviser at Wrekin.
The two occasions I have had to contact Paul, I have expected to replace the unit due to its age but he knows the model and advised that although a new unit would be more economical the spares are still available!
Just recently the flow rate had drastically reduced and Paul recommended replacing the beads, I placed the order and they arrived in two days. Following the detailed instructions, I changed them over and the flow rate has not been this good for ages! (Beads £100, new unit £700 !)
I highly recommend this company for all aspects from filters, new water softeners, advice and spares.

I contacted WrekinWater for some advice on my 13 year old Harvey Twin-Tec S3 which stopped making softened water but not running permanently to drain (original installers gave a 4 week brush off appointment). Great troubleshooting advice from Paul which I carried out, and then ordered and fitted the part. I ordered the (best price on internet) G1220 Shuttle Valve Assembly for the H20 (I know there is an upgraded shuttle valve but is more complicated to fit for a layman), arrived quickly and well packaged, fitted quite easily, just needed a pozidrive and adjustable grips. Good chance to clean out the unit of salt build up and sand in the bottom from my use of inferior salt!!!. Now working as good as before, my wife is happy as no more scum on her cup tea and this saved me from an expensive callout from water softener service engineer, who would have probably written the unit off and tried to flog me a new one for £1,500 IMHO. Thanks.

As a DIY person but new to water softeners, I was really impressed with the tech person who answered all my questions. Within seconds i had placed an order, the unit was very well packaged in a double box with layered insulation and arrived in good time too.

I bought my softener from Wrekin 7 years ago. I managed to mess up the settings on it while trying to set the clock.
I emailed their technical help to ask what my settings should be, got a quick response and now my softener is set up correctly.
