This company is terrible. I passed the grammar test and am very sure I wrote an excellent essay but I was still declined with no reasonable reason. Why can't this company specify what was wrong with one's application? If someone can take their time to past tests and write essays then this company should be able to give valid reasons as to why an application was declined. Why make applicants waste their precious time taking grammar tests and writing essays?
It's also funny how this company expects applicants to write a coherent essay in 30mins as part of the qualification process because no one can produce an essay of the highest quality along with references in 30
mins. I absolutely believe this company purposely decline applications which is very unprofessional. You can do better.

I passed the English assessment. On completing my test assignment, I was emailed that I have 72 hours to complete the assignment and I didn't exceed that. I submitted my essay now and immediately I was met with "bad luck. Your application has been declined". How do I know that it was even reviewed by humans?
I am displeased about this.

I went through the process and submitted the essay, based on the guidelines. Under 24 hours, I received an email indicating that my application is declined. Ironically, you titled the mail 'result of my application.' This was just a mere letter indicating that you are not engaging me as freelancer and not a result! If I was to learn from the mistakes or shortcoming from my previous submission, how will I know what it is that requires addressing? Their team seem to work on a template aimed at discrediting hard working writers who aim to onboard on their platform. I don't recommend.

I'm giving 5 stars right now but I'm right now under verification process. People are saying they make you failed in process abruptly. No dude, I pass my test after 5th attempt but I learned and passed it. And then for essay if you copy or you had grammar mistakes you can't pass it. I passed my both tests and now I'm waiting for verification.
For the people who are searching to get wether it fake or not. So I will give my review when I will start my work soon but for now it's not fake if your English is good and you don't copy paste thing.

Due to poor Internet and the glitch, it was so difficult to upload the essay given to me for the test. And then I received the message that my application was denied 😔 I wrote the essay with with so much enthusiasm and dedication, even cleared the English test😔. So disappointed, wish if the writing creek team could do something about it and allow me to upload my essay.

I have worked here for a month now and I am so grateful because the management is very helpful, support are on time and the website is so friendly. I am looking forward to a long-lasting cooperation here!

what is the criteria of the test. how much mcqs you should attempt correctly. i did it twice but could not but i think i would have scored well

Recently, I had my account terminated for "fraudulent activity". At no point did I ever give out my account login details to anyone. My IP address and location have been consistent with the country I entered when I signed up. I was the sole operator of my account too but somehow WritingCreek terminated it for a baseless reason ("fraudulent activity") simply because I asked for help in resetting my withdrawal password - not plagiarism, not unruliness, not late order submission, not poor order quality - "fraudulent activity". It beggars belief since I'm completely innocent of any wrongdoing. The site didn't reply to the 4-5 emails I sent in which I attached verification details, photos, and even the recent orders I handled. I also offered to prove my innocence by jumping on a video call but got no response from support and the writer's department, illustrating once again that they only care about profit and not writers' wellbeing or being equitable in their dealings.

The site's order price split is equally unfair: the writer gets 20-25% while they keep 75-80%. I know they try to justify it by claiming they have several professionals working behind the scenes but how else do model freelance sites offer their freelancers better pay while keeping their site reliability and marketing operations running??? The only logical explanation for WritingCreek's continued maintenance of this split is greed - wanting all the profits without proper remuneration for those who do the work. Even a 60-40 split in their favour would be respectable, but no, they want all the money. I've lost count of the number of times a customer would state in the order chat that the order price was about $100 on their side while the price on my side would read $20. And the rules meant I couldn't tell them why the price was so high. Good luck getting STEM pros to sign up while offering comparably laughable rates. The site's only still running just because unlucky but talented third-world grads need to survive in the harsh conditions created by their countries. Awful site, awful management, awful company.

PS: WritingCreek only reached out after the first version of this review went up and didn't remediate the situation, claiming it was justified by their "security policies". This ran contrary to the line of action stated by the account manager in an email when the withdrawal password policy was made (verification would be carried out as opposed to straight-up termination) -- an email I referenced when they responded. Basically, they wouldn't have replied to my previous emails if I hadn't reviewed them on a public review site, indicating they only care about saving face publicly. I still maintain I was terminated for no reason. If you're a freelancer, please stay away since you can't rely on them.

26-06-2024: Temporary blockage is a totally different thing from permanent termination. Writingcreek carried out the latter and not the former. It's alright to reference account security, but if at all my account was breached by a malicious third party, they still would have been able to make a withdrawal since all they need is my withdrawal password and my account was still on the site and yet to be permanently deleted. So yeah: I call bulls***t on the reason for the account closure. Writingcreek didn't conduct any investigation because y'all couldn't care less about taking the pains to do so and do not care about your freelancers. They are replaceable serfs in your eyes, working for peanuts first world writers would consider insulting.

Not like we didn't already know that.

And yeah, just fyi, the order price split is still rubbish.

This website should be reported for its suspicious activities. I urge everybody to check Trustpilot's "company activity tab" for writingcreek. The company hasn't even verified its details. Yes, I should have checked it before posting my project on it but my bad, I wasn't able to do it due to the heavy workload. If anybody knows their whereabouts please report them. They are scamming people around the globe. I don't even trust the positive reviews for this website. Seems plagiarised to me.

They are expert in accusing and stealing your money, stay away from them!!!!! They will steal your information, money, and reputation. WritingCreek doesn't care about client ratings or your performance. They can create anything against you to terminate your account. They are illiterate, selfish, and fraudulent criminals. Beware!!!!

This website do not hires anyone if you pass the Assignment and Essay they will make you wait for 10 days and then they will email you that unfortunately you couldn’t make a fit this time. My correct answers were 29/30 and a quality essay i have given 2 times but they are just scam be careful

My experience with this company is similar to Vincent's who posted his review on November 16, 2023.
However, mine was worse and more shocking. I applied for a writer's position on Writing Creek's affiliate called Edusson. The two (Writing Creek and Edusson) share almost everything from application tests, support, managers, orders, etc.
I did everything that was required of me, including completing tests (which I passed) and submitting the requisite documents.
My application was approved and the company sent me several PDF files to go through before starting to work.
The manager did not specify the number of days within which I was supposed to go through the files and complete the so-called adaptation.
Surprisingly, seven days later, I received a message that the company had terminated my account for what they claimed was the failure to pass adaptation tasks.
I tried to explain to the manager that I had been unwell and was still going through the PDF files but everything fell on deaf eyes.
Please note that the manager had not specified the timeframe within which I was to complete going through the files. So, the company expected me to know the deadline. Remember this is a platform that claims to offer professional services to thousands of learners across the world.
I felt like this company (Writing Creek and Edusson) is operated by sadists who rejoice at the pain and suffering of other people, especially some of us who live in the third world.

I have checked all my answers and they are all correct. Scammers!!!
