10/10 jewellery. Sach spoke with me about what product I wanted which I thought was a great experience. Not many companies offer stuff like that. Platinum and gold always go up in value anyway so a good investment also. Would recommend (the wait time after order is a while, so if a gift buy long in advance). The staff are also very helpful.

I purchased the 24K liquid fluid ring…
I purchased the 24K liquid fluid ring (certainly not a cheap price). The matt effect has worn off on the outside and to me it just looks like plated gold,to say Im suspicious in an understatement. The hallmarks are far too small to read apart from 7879 24K (which is larger but faintly stamped). Im suspicious of the included 'Assay office' card, reads a totally different month from when 7879 claimed they had sent it to the Assay office.Another red flag is on the 7879 website chat the owner Sach is apparantly always available to immediately chat, impossible. And also in one of the 7879 glowing 'reviews' a man whos name is my address name appears,weird coincidence? Perhaps. I have previously bought their "24k" chain with the poorest thin fasten I ever seen and the 24k gold crucifix, even the back of the crucifix is looking dubious. Its all going to be professionally tested. You need to ask why is it with both their "pure" platinum and "pure" 24k gold is it given a matt coating? Hmm. Yet the lesser metals arent. Got big alarm bells here that I been hugely mis sold. I have seen and felt real 24k gold and this doesnt look/feel like it. Im going get it professionally tested. My confidence has gone with 7879, I will not purchase again.

To be clear: all of our 24kpieces are crafted from solid 24K gold (999 = 99.9% pure), and are never plated or alloyed. Each piece is independently tested and hallmarked by the UK Assay Office, a legally mandated and internationally recognised body. The Assay Office regulates the hallmark size and not something we can change — but it is visible with a magnifying glass or jeweller’s loupe.
The matte finish you’ve noted is a purposeful design decision, giving the piece a modern, satin texture. Over time, it naturally polishes up through wear — which is part of its charm. Unlike plated jewellery, our solid 24K gold pieces will never lose their colour because there’s no base metal underneath — it's pure gold throughout.
The certificate included in your packaging is issued by our manufacturing plant, not the Assay Office, and confirms the composition and weight of your piece. Occasionally there may be differences in dates due to batch hallmarking and packaging timing — but if you’d like us to check your item’s specific record, we’re more than happy to assist.
I completely support your decision to get your jewellery professionally tested — and we welcome it. If the results ever show that our purity claim is false, we will immediately issue a full refund. But until then, there’s no evidence to suggest the piece is anything other than what we promised.
With that in mind, I’d like to raise something in good faith. Public reviews have a huge impact on small businesses — both positively and negatively. Sharing a highly critical review based on suspicion, before any test results or evidence have been presented, can be very damaging — especially when we’ve done nothing wrong and have acted in full transparency.
We’ve always stood behind our product and treated our customers with respect and integrity. If your professional test confirms our purity as described, I kindly ask that you consider updating or removing the review, as it doesn’t reflect the truth of what was delivered.

Disappointing
Ordered a liquid platinum signet ring. It has a good design, however, there are a few points to admit:
1. The shop has relatively high over-the-spot premium for precious metals. It is a poor investment choice. There are other jewelry producers with much lower premiums.
2. Recently they removed price breakdown for platinum, so it is not transparent anymore.
3. Despite high premium, I hoped that at least the quality will be good. However, there is a clearly visible dent on my ring, on a flat signet part.

I would love to leave you a positive…
I would love to leave you a positive review but my experience with your company was far less than stellar.
I ordered a chain to wear a pendant with. The chain I used previously was white gold that turned to yellow gold after a decade. I wanted a platinum chain that would keep its color and not tarnish and I found your price to be acceptable so I bought one.
After the purchase I found out that I would have to wait two to three months for it to be made...Like huh?
Fortunately for you, you have a rock star customer service agent in Anne who kept me from cancelling my order and being patient. Once I finally received the notification that my chain was shipped, a day later I received a notification that I needed to cough up an additional 160.00 for duty!...Ok now, I have overpaid for a chain that I should have had several months ago...Uuuuggggg.
Your entire concept of buying jewelry as a hedge against inflation is flawed, there are simply too many value added costs involved for this to be profitable as an investment. If I want to buy and hold an asset for investment I'll buy bullion at spot (but I'd much rather buy Bitcoin).
