We use Accu Web Hosting services for our non-profit website. The service has proven to be consistently fast and with near zero down-time. Support system is fast and efficient.
Purchased a VPN for my FOREX trading 2 days ago. Account was showing pending despite the fact that I paid for this and should have had access. Today, I decided to login to see the status and I can no longer get into the account. I have reset my password numerous times. What a waste of time and money! User this company with caution.

This website is a waste of time. Tried signing up after our 14 year old business needed a new hosting provider. They flagged us as fraud and it is impossible to get a human on the phone. Great way to go out of business.

Not a great experience to be honest, cancelled and requested refund within a few hours of signing up.
1. Sign up and let the website generate password. (Unfortunately chrome did not store password)
2. Verified phone number.
3. Need to verify email address (yet no email received to verify, not in junk or spam folder either).
4. Try to sign in to get email verification resent, don’t know password so request password reset.
5. Asks for answer to my secret word, this was 100% correct but kept advising incorrect.
6. Spoke to online chat whom advised I could reset this to then reset password by emailing support.
7. Reply from support telling me to provide government issued id to reset this.
At this point all faith and trust in this company had gone, going through hell and fire and with so many problems this early, requested cancellation and moved into another company.
Order placed and VPS running within the hour. Just as it should have been.
Far to difficult then it needed to be. Can’t review service of product as never got that far.

Accu web hosting has provided us with free, reliable hosting to launch our website and business which is great. Their servers are on all the time and it feels like a fast, reliable service.
The only drawback is their communication and review process which can be greatly improved! For example they could tell you about this requirement before you sign-up so that you can manage it proactively as part of your onboarding allocated time.
Overall we are still deciding what to do in the future, and for now it runs great! :)
I had an existing WordPress Hosting at one of the most popular hosting providers, but being a non-technical person, I was not able to manage it well or get basic support; even installation of SSL by myself was challenging, but could not get any support from their team.
Now my domain was about to expire and I made the best decision to switch over to AccuWeb.
The prices were nominal and the tech support has been great. From migration to basic support, their 24/7 support comes in handy, especially if you are a novice in technical stuff.
I can sit back and relax knowing Accuweb team will be there to keep the servers running, so my website is always online and accessible. And if I want to work on my website, the Accu Knowledgebase is a great repository of information.
Accuwebhosting technical support is the worst i have experienced in over 15 years of runninhg web sites.
i have a site hosted by them for the last 2 and a half years but will soon be moving elsewhere. Speeds and support have always been questionable to say the least. But recently my site has been up n down / offline like a Yoyo, support constantly stating there are plug in incompatibility issues go to plugin vendor support type fob offs. which i was certain was not the issue and after complaining that this was not the case was eventually told there was a server issue which was being looked into, service will resume shortly. Service went down permenantly from Friday 17th and its now Monday 20th !! So .... its now well over 48hrs + later and my business website is still offline and no real concern or information about when it will be fixed coming from Accuweb. Ive had enough... i would strongly advise anybody to find another company to host their site as they seem reluctant, incompetent and incapable to sort things out should problems arise.

Been a Linux Premium++ customer for 4 months, and now my main objective is moving to another host and get a refund for the 3 years of hosting services I paid in advance. Paid in advance, because since my websites are pretty basic (2 static PHP websites for family businesses plus a Wordpress personal blog, all with low traffic) there was no chance of this going wrong, right? Right?
- Faulty account setup, after signing up found myself with no FTP access to my own account until I raised a ticket.
- No monitoring - Apache service may die, your websites go down for hours, but no corrective action will happen before a support ticket is raised. That is basic and cost me hours of availability already.
- Woke up one day to find that my email forwarders - literally just a few instances of company emails fwding to personal email - had all been deleted on purpose by their support. When asked about it, they proceeded to simply delete the main email address and all of its messages - I am amazed at the lack of professionalism.
Moved my personal websites to Accu after checking their pricing, general SLA, and available features. At this moment it feels like a scam, since their support is clearly unprofessional, their uptime is lacking, and they just arbitrarily cut one of the features I picked them for. Stay away!

EDIT: addressing Jason Pat's response to this review, I'd like to clarify the following, and hopefully provide more clarity on how this company addresses feedback and issues:
- the IP blocking was a completely separate issue which is unrelated to the account setup. Indeed I got blocked after failing a few consecutive log in attempts, raised a ticket, got unblocked. It is unclear why Jason's trying to correlate this with the account setup, since it happened months later (July vs September).
- Deletion of email forwarders - the "sufficient notice" consisted of 24h without any warning in advance, and without considering we're in different timezones. As in, I was first messaged about needing to delete my email forwarders without any deadline or urgency being indicated; almost exactly 24h later got a new message stating "well, 24h have passed, forwarder deleted". It didn't help that the first message happened to hit me in a particularly busy Friday, I couldn't react immediately due to work and just planned to address it on Saturday - and then the next morning the first forwarder was already gone. Replied back to ask if I could set a spam filter and keep the forwarder, left home for a long breakfast, when I came back had two messages - the first one, to let me know I had a random 2h-notice ("sufficient notice"?), the second one to let me know said 2h-notice had expired and ALL of the forwarders were gone too. Upon checking, the WHOLE EMAIL INBOX / ADDRESS had also been deleted - I never got even the slightest acknowledgement of that, let alone an apology. - Lack of monitoring - pure BS. Anyone can set a Nagios instance to monitor at least if an website is responding with 200 at regular intervals, and that's what serious shared hosting providers do. In this case I don't even know how long the website has been down, but it took me almost an hour since I got a Jetpack alert that my websites were down before I could raise a ticket, and then took another half an hour for Accu to fix the issue. What, do you run your checks once a day or something?
I can confirm that I have moved away from Accu and gotten a refund for 2 years out of 3. Still means that I paid 1 entire year for 4 months of sub-par usage, but heh, at least didn't lose all of it.
I have no interest in collaborating with Accu any further, except for taking any opportunity to let others know about their sheer incompetence. I'm an IT professional with 20 years of experience and frankly I'm happy to pay for someone else to take on the grunt work of keeping a couple of websites online and a server running and healthy, so I can focus on my job. Accu instead forced me to keep actively monitoring those websites, provided outright lies and mediocrity as a service, and now forced me to do a hasty migration following a breach of trust.

This company is an absolute nightmare. They claim free website migration but failed to migrate mine for 3 weeks. In the end, I gave up on them and personally had to fix the errors that their employees either didn't have the knowledge to fix or the work ethic. There absolutely wasn't 24/7 support. Not even close. The phone number doesn't work more than it does work.
Replies using the ticketing system take numerous hours or even days. After the false marketing claims and having to fix issues myself, I asked for a partial refund. They refused and closed my account with less than 24 hours notice. I didn't cuss them out, I didn't threaten them, I just asked that they honor their promises. Luckily I downloaded backup files before they unexpectedly closed everything. Now my website is down (again) and I have to waste even more time and effort figuring out how to use the files to get my site back up.
***UPDATE***
Over a month after I wrote this review, Jason Pat wrote a long and seemingly attentive response. Don't fall for it. I had emailed Jason personally on 2 occasions prior to his response here. He didn't reply to either email. The company has no interest in living up to their promises. Their only concern seems to be the appearance of credibility so they can continue the scam.
