I am NOT appealing a removed ad of my own. I am writing to report seller "damodollard" for repeatedly violating your duplicate listing / re-listing policies with their Denon PMA-2500NE listing.

This user constantly withdraws and re-posts the exact same item multiple times a week to stay at the top of the search results, while other law-abiding users do not get this unfair advantage.

Please review this seller's activity and take appropriate moderation action to ensure fair play on the platform.

I only started using Adverts.ie after a hiatus of a few years and it has certainly changed in that time. I placed five ads and I was cat fished twice, probably they realised I was not an experienced seller. I wasted an awful amount of time dealing with these sad individuals. I have visions of these morbidly obese saddos getting their kicks stringing me along 🤣 All I can say to them is ‘get a life’. I will most definitely not be using adverts.ie again I’d prefer to dump my furniture!

Stay away from this website it's a real scammers delers website. I sent an offer for a phone the minute it was advertised to a Craig1974 and he never responded even though he was on Line all the time getting Texting from another phone dealer Cornered Tiger that was already texting me asking me do I still want this certain phone and I told him yes one of them has come up on adverts for 1400 and he told me best of luck. but to my imagination he was buying the phone off Craig1974. And then heCornered Tiger trains to sell the phone to me for 1650. So as I say it's a real scammer dealer website.

I left honest feedback to a seller that was trying to scam me. All was well until requested weight of item ( coin ) requested this as easy to know if item fake ! Upon asking he just declined the sale and was rude to me. Lo and behold then he contacted adverts to remove my honest feedback left, just stating that I requested weight ect, in the hope to warn others !! Talk about help the scammer defraud other users, + he had over 300 positive reviews ? How the crooked are helped in this world.
Know if it was me adverts wouldn’t remove feedback unless nasty rude ect???

Full of Dropshippers look up what Dropshippers are and how they work if you dont know what it meens, Adverts them selfs let this happen and are letting people be ripped of everyday.

The idea of this site is great, local sellers and buyers. But it only works if it is genuine sellers and buyers. Unfortunately Adverts has a lot of scammers selling non existing items and because you have to pay directly to the seller before receiving an item there is no comeback. The attitude from Adverts of 'nothing to do with us' makes this a dodgy place to buy anything unless you can meet with the seller in person before handing over any money. Beware folks, the platform is perfect for scammers. Adverts needs to step up and give us, the users, some level of protection. I got bured recently and their attitide is report it to the Gardai - we can't help. I've recommended Adverts to many of my friends and family in the past but I'm now warning them all to stay away or be very cautious with who they deal with. It's a shame really as the legitimate buyers and sellers loose out. I hate to say it but I'd have to recommend sticking to the two big guns, you know the ones, Amaslop and eBug as you have at least some sort of protection on their platforms.

Filled with shops pretending to be private sellers in the Tech sections . Likely to avoid paying governemnt tax. Especially prevallent in Cork and Dublin where they use many accounts to break up their thousands of ads selling old scrap taken from technology. Yes it is the same group in Cork .Shop is based in Douglas Rochestown and the City Centre. As you can see from other reports, reporting them does nothing and will likely get you banned instead.They have been at it for years and had several of their accounts band in the past.This is before adverts changed hands.

Avoid Adverts.ie ! Almost everything I ordered was in bad condition. Staff bunch of maroons, rude and useless. They have no protection policy, so you are taking a risk, like I did. Would not recommend 🙄 There is much better websites with better options and software.

Left warranted negative feedback for a seller, gunner39 on this website. He sends the item I purchased to the wrong address and after a week later he hadn’t even queried a Post as to the items whereabouts. He then gets arrogant and haughty when I bring all this to his attention.
adverts,ie customer support removed my feedback, no record now of his behaviour. When I asked them why they removed the feedback - no response, no answer.

Update: 26/06 My account on adverts.ie has now been blocked & An Post have confirmed that gunner39 sent the item to the wrong address.

Love the feedback system. The site does need some improvements though, buggy messaging and duplicate ads from resellers are some of the big problems for me

and it's an app where you find dilapidated, poorly maintained, dirty items sold as if they were new. Be wary of the sellers on this app if you want to sell them something, they insult you because they want to buy things for free. When they are the ones selling dirty, poorly maintained items, they end up earning more than the new product costs!

After years of gathering over 450 positive feedbacks from a lot of customers with happy purchases and belie in me it wasn't easy! one day over a dispute i had with a useless Moldavian clown with multiple fake accounts and a lot of negatives feedback out of no where Adverts decided to suspend my account without notification. It's very frustrating how the guys from working on behalf of adverts don't give a crap about your years of gaining all the trust or explaining makes no difference to them answering your emails taken ages and when they do is basically like oh yeah we don't care!
Why have feedbacks and house rules if it's being disregarded and it doesn't matter? My advice is stay away from them specially honest sellers because Adverts is mostly for scammers and time wasters 🛑

Blocks accounts for no reason. Very annoying and a hassle for the seller and buyer. Avoid and find an alternative

Adverts.ie locks your account without any alert, email, or notification. No warning. No explanation. You only find out when a buyer tries to contact you and can't.

This has happened to me before. And now it happened again while I was in the middle of arranging a sale. The buyer cannot find me, cannot message me, and likely thinks I am a scammer. My reputation takes a hit through no fault of my own.

Their support is slow. Their system is broken. And they clearly don't care about honest sellers.

If you are going to lock accounts, at least have the decency to send a notification. But they won't. And they won't reply to this review either.

Unprofessional. Frustrating. Avoid if you value your time and reputation.

Site provides no protection against fraudsters. All purchases are fully on your own risk.

Site taken over by a Polish tech gang . Pages upon pages of recycled slop in the computer and electronics section. Fix your site or lose more customers.

Error code 1015, kicked off the website for simply using it as intended, its also an awful website, one of the worst i've ever seen. It looks like something from the 90s. Its seriously been an awful experience I would put 0/5 stars if possible. would not recommend this website to anybody.

This site has a system where you can review and block timewasters ,supposed to help make the site work but I'd a complete clown offered me the right money for an item and I accepted it ,bearing in mind I live in Kerry and this guy in Carlow,260 km away.I brought this to his attention and he expected me to deliver the item to Carlow next time I'm up that way.A total timewaster, I reported his as that and gave him bad feedback yet adverts over ruled me and let him away with it after I also got dogs abuse from him.Its no longer fit for purpose when they break their own rules and don't have the decency to contact the seller for their side of the story,full of time wasters and messers and not being controlled.

Utter waste of time...ads up for 12mnths + not taken down bunch if time wasters. Pity it used to be good!!
