Bad Follow-up Customer Service
The Repairman was courteous and seemed to know what he was doing. He replaced the control boards in the machine and ran it before leaving. About an hour later the door would not close. I took photos of the error on the control and sent it by text and email to Allset. When I did not get a response the next morning I called and was informed that they had just closed out the repair order and I would have to call GE Warranty to reopen it or they could not do anything for me. When I informed GE that they refused to come back out until they reopened the repair order, they said a Bodewell GE Quality Assurance Technician would complete the repair. The GE Technician came out and informed me that the door was reassembled incorrectly causing the tabs that hold the locking mechanism in place to break off. He removed the seal, replaced the mechanism and reassembled it correctly. It works fine now. Follow-up customer Service is apparently not a strong point for Allset.
