Worst customer experience in my lifetime
Purchased the AOC E1659FWU at Best Buy. Was pretty happy the first few months I had it.Truth be told I lost the USB cable that came with the monitor and went to Best Buy to see if I could get a replacement. Tried a USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 and it did not work. Best buy recommended I contact AOC directly. Began calling AOC customer service on 11/21/19 and have called 11 times total since then. At first they said it was out of stock (nasty customer service person) until after Thanksgiving. Waited the week and started calling on the 28th. Was told it was in stock but due to some terminal being down they could not process any order. Called everyday last week and got the same answer every day. This week I was told that IT has not responded to the request of customer care as someone changed the password and it still has not been resolved. During all this time I have tried to find an alternative but nothing works. So, I'm stuck with this monitor that doesn't work even though I'm happy to pay for a replacement cable but due to the lack of coordination or effort of the AOC staff, I'm unable to use the product that I paid for. Again I cannot believe that this is the way AOC does business because if it is, Its amazing they are still in business.
Bought a 4K monitor from AOC
Bought a 4K monitor from AOC. Lines of dead pixels appeared on the screen after a few weeks of usage. Tried to contact AOC support in Australia. After trying a number of times they have finally replied and arranged a pick up to get the monitor into their service center. I handed the monitor safely over to the delivery guy and started waiting for a response. Two weeks later, they have replied that the monitor screen is cracked - during the delivery they have arranged! - and warranty is no longer valid. This is the type of support you will get if you buy any products from this company.
RMA process is atrocious
My monitor developed a fault and stopped powering on. That was two months ago. They sent me a replacement psu which didn't solve the problem. Then they told me to package the thing up so that it can be collected and replaced. Then they said that they were going to send me a temporary monitor as they didn't have the thing in stock.
At this point I just want a refund and to put this nightmarish episode behind me, but apparently that requires approval from some higher-up whose lair is built into the side of a mountain and takes 2 weeks of hiking to reach. As others have mentioned they are completely clueless, so I don't understand where the positive reviews are coming from.
Throughout this process the communication has been extremely sporadic. I have not had an update in the past week. Put simply they could not give two hoots about their irate customers.
If you're considering buying from this company, then do yourself a favour and reconsider.
The staff at the call centre are friendly enough, just don't expect them to do anything meaningful to help.

When they finally answered they said that they don’t have the monitor in stock and that I have to wait.
I am still waiting with my dead pixel monitor while my warranty is passing.

Value for money, excellent returns
There are a few bad reviews on here that I'm surprised about, bought a 2k monitor, very good value for money and sleek bezeless display, unfortunately monitor developed a fault about a year in.
However, customer service was amazing, had a courier pick up the monitor the next day and had a replacement the day after that. For the price and service, you cnat beat it.

I bought a G2790PX monitor which is actually a very high spec and very good value for its price but sadly this one hit a fault 2 months after ownership whereby the system does not fully power down and then does not come on with the PC when you power that up the next time. Despite troubleshooting the basics such as power points, cables etc nothing fixes the problem. The only thing that does is unplugging from mains waiting and plugging back in again but thats like having a sports car but having to get out and wind it up when you want to use it.
I contacted AOC about this and was finally directed to their website where i can log an issue for a support ticket as telephone calls did not help and i was not getting any call backs.
However it has been over a month now and i still have no clear answers as to what is going on and my paypal protection runs out in less than one month from now. The distribute has offered to arrange collection and send it to his supplier who will then send me a replacement. Despite AOC emailed saying my case has been escalated and they will come back to me in 48 hours each time this never happens and when i called in there had been a 2 week delay - they admitted they read but did not respond to my last communication.
Shame as its a lovely product but i get the feeling if you have an issue your screwed, they dosn't seem to show any proactive concern for their customers and this is reflected in lots of other negative feedback. AOC until you get this right you will not be able to rival other big monitor firms such as LG or Samsung. My advice to anyone is perhaps to look at other brands to see if they have your desired spec first, If i knew AOC would be be so slow and unresponsive i would have not bought their product.

UPDATED 02/09/2019 - My service ticket for logging the issues has been deleted meaning i am back to square one again - Thanks AOC!!! Not responding to my message to arrange the collection and replacement of my fault product your warranty is worth nothing!

Har købt en AOC-skærm. Efter noget tid opdager jeg, at den ikke kører på 144hz (hvilket den ellers understøtter ifølge produktbeskrivelsen). Til min store glæde ser jeg, at AOC giver 3 års garanti.
Sagsforløbet er som følger:
20.06.2018: Jeg anmelder fejler og gør brug af garanti på AOC's hjemmeside. Jeg modtager ca. 14 dage senere en midlertidig "replacement-monitor" og skal herefter sende min egen skærm ind til AOC. Denne midlertidige skærm er af samme model, og understøtter i øvrigt heller ikke 144hz
15.08.2018: Jeg har endnu hverken hørt respons vedr. modtagelse af min skærm eller nogen anden form for kommunikation fra AOC. Jeg ringer til dem og får at vide, at jeg skal skrive en mail, hvilket jeg gør og rykker for svar.
17.10.2018: Jeg sender endnu en rykker og beder dem give mig en opdatering på sagen
Nu 04.11.2018 har jeg igen forsøgt at ringe til dem uden noget svar. Jeg har endnu ikke hørt noget som helst. Det er altså nu snart 5 måneder siden, jeg oprettede garantisagen uden nogen form for respons.
AOC har ingen customer service og det lader heller ikke til, at de som sådan går op i, om deres kunder er glade. Jeg vil fraråde alle at købe et produkt fra AOC.

Had no idea about AOC monitors until I bought one purely to test Display Port issues as it's one of the cheaper Monitors which do have display port connectors. The displays are very good even on cheaper models but on the cheaper models the stands are very flimsy but the more expensive monitors have better stands and they do provide display port cables whilst the cheaper models only supply VGA and HDMI cables. I bought a cheaper model and a more expensive model. Still too early to tell in regards to reliability.

jeg købte en skærm fra computersalg som havde pixel fejl, de sendte mig videre til producenten og fra skriver sig alt.
Jeg kontakter producenten som fortæller mig at pixel fejl i skærmen er helt ok efter deres standarder så de mener ikke det skal fixes.
Så hvis du køber en skærm fra AOC så kryds fingre for den virker for du får ikke en ny hvis de har sålgt dig en defekt.
