Arkiplan Reviews

I would definitely recommend Arkiplan for any building work that requires drawing plans.
They provided me with an excellent service and very friendly, along with being very professional.

Arkiplan was efficient, knowledgeable and good value. If you have general ideas of what you need, then they were very helpful on realising your wishes and always happy to make any amendments or suggestions. Successful in getting planning permission & Build regs approval for our project! Highly recommended. Thank you!

From start to finish the service was excellent, the initial planning call answered all my questions and the communication through the portal made everything so easy. Being able to view the plans and make changes or ask questions was a breese. The plans were approved first time and our builder had no questions or issues. Fast, simple, cost affective solution. Many thanks Dave.

Excellent company! They have some innovative designers who are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

The design meetings and the submission of building regs/permitted development were all handled brilliantly and without any problems.

We were very happy with the design and how the new loft stairs integrated with our existing layout.

Only three stars due to the design calling for a traditional steel construction for the loft which the builders considered was not buildable and would not give the headroom required in any case.

We kept the arkiplan overall design but went with telebeam for the structure. This worked very well.

Would be happy to use arkiplan again, but would ask more questions about the buildability of the designs if tolerances (in our case head room) were marginal.

Dave Chamberlain and his team were fantastic from the outset. Despite being advised by several local architects that we would never achieve planning approval, Dave achieved this for us at a fraction of the price. Always available and on hand to provide advice. Would no hesitate to recommending Arkiplan and will definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent team. They make the whole process of design and planning simple.
Fast efficient and reliable. Very easy to work with.

Arkiplan stepped up and from the first contact with them they were - helpful, professional, approachable, reliable, I could go on. Taking us through the entire process including applications to the local Council, making alterations as required etc etc. Cannot fault them and recommend Arkiplan to anyone who will listen.

Arkiplan is an innovative and modern way of accessing an expert architectural service. It is a very efficient, responsive and cost-effective system and I found it completely hassle-free. My drawings were delivered quickly and accurately and they enabled my project to sail through planning permission. I then used Arkiplan for the more detailed and technical building regulations drawings, which my builders found simple to follow.

Simple, Knowledgeable and positive

Dave knew his stuff and really took our ideas and help to create the plans we wanted to get our planning permission. No hidden costs and really easy process compared to other Architects we spoke to- we have recommended and would absolutely use again ourselves

We used Arkiplan for a garage conversion into a garden room/ home gym. Arkiplan were professional and friendly, and provided a very quick turn around for our needs. They handled our prior approval application and other planning matters with the local authority for us, all with ease and well worth the money. Would recommend and would use them again.

From start to finish Arkiplan were excellent to deal with. They have an easy to use portal (I’m not technical at all!) and have an online chat facility or you can easily speak with a member of their team. Arita, the architect who drew our plans was fantastic, and always responded quickly to my queries by email. I highly recommend Arkiplan, so if you’re thinking about it, just do it! You won’t regret it!

I wanted to share our incredible experience with Arki Plan and specifically, Dave, who was instrumental in helping us with our renovation plans. From the moment we started working with Dave, we knew we were in good hands.

Dave was exceptionally understanding and really took the time to listen to our needs and ideas. One of the things that impressed us the most was how he genuinely respected our budget. He didn’t just understand our financial constraints—he worked diligently to maximize our vision within those limits. This was a refreshing change, especially since we had struggled with previous architects who often overlooked our budget and pushed expensive solutions.

Dave’s expertise shone through in the way he found creative solutions to save costs without compromising on quality or design. He introduced us to cost-effective alternatives and smart adjustments that we hadn’t even considered, making the entire renovation not only feasible but also much more affordable.

The whole process with Arki Plan was smooth and easy. Dave ensured that everything was straightforward and never overcomplicated. He understood the brief perfectly from the get-go, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the project.

In summary, if you’re looking for an architect who truly listens, respects your budget, and delivers outstanding results with a seamless process, we highly recommend Dave at Arki Plan.!

Very effective way of getting a home renovation design created and plans drawn up to get building control approval. We had a good idea of what we wanted to do, but having time with a professional designer gave us the detailed plans for our builder to work from, and so we had a lot more confidence that the finished product would be what we expected

I can’t recommend Arkiplan enough. They really took the hassle out of getting building control approval. We needed it very quickly too , having previously been let down by a previous architect and building work due to start.

I strongly recommend Arkiplan. They took our job on without hesitation, not like every other arcitect we contacted. Megan was a superstar. She always came back quickly to any questions i had ans never made me feel stupid for asking some of them! The speed from start to finish was great too as hear you an wait many months with other architects and that aome are hard to get hold of during a job. Definitely not the case with Arkiplan!

100% recommend. Efficient, value for money and extremely responsive to emails throughout the whole process. Would recommend to anyone!

Arkiplan made what was a daunting first time extension task so very easy. From start to finish they were attentive, knowledgeable and most of all considerate to our requirements. They held our hands all the way through the 4-5 months it took from quote, through 3d design, extension design, planning and building regulation permissions right up to the build beginning. They spoke with prospective builders on our behalf and changed plans without additional fuss or cost. We really couldn't fault this part of the process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend .

I was a bit hesitant at first to use an online only architect ,however I’m so glad I did!
The team's attention to detail and commitment to our satisfaction and design needs was unparalleled. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch architectural services that transform visions into reality!

Will defiantly be using your service for future plans.

Great company that made the process of renovating my house easy to understand. The council had reservations and were difficult and Arkiplan changed the drawings free of charged and helped us get it through. Would recommend to anyone.
