Arkiplan Reviews

We used Arkiplan to prepare our building control drawings for a 2 storey side extension to our detached 1950's house. It comprises a 28m2 garage & 2 en-suites (15m2). Job was quite tricky as it involved a lot of steel works. Nicki of Arkiplan provided us with the Building Control drawing pack & associated stress report. The document pack was extremely good, very detailed & unambiguous. Nicki provided excellent guidance & options to minimise the building cost. It took some 4 months to achieve the final drawing pack which was approved by Building Control with no issues. Builder found the format excellent for providing the estimate & managing queries. Building work commenced at the begining of February 2024 & will be finished in a couple of weeks (end of May 2024). Original quotation still stands & we are delighted with the outcome. It has exceeded our best expectations :-)

Arkiplan were great. Cost effective, efficient and communicative.

I felt supported and excited throughout my journey with Arkiplan.

Arkiplan made our garden room project super stress free, they were very helpful and informative all the way through the process, organising enough virtual meetings to ensure they had the right level of info, that we had the right level of info and that we knew what was happening and when. They also engaged with the local planning authority on our behalf, which helped the project run very smoothly.

Arkiplan helped us to complete a single story extension with no problem. They were easy to deal with and quick in responding to any queries.
We completed our project in record time thanks to their advice.

This is the first time using Arkiplan and I was unsure how this would work. I need not have been concerned in any way. Prompt and professional service from initial survey, planning drawings, building drawings, and support through to building control.
I would be confident in recommending Arkiplan for homeowners with similar projects.

I found the process of using Arkiplan stress free. The online portal is very good and I had confidence in the person I was dealing with via emails, and online meetings. They were knowledgeable and helpful.

I only used Arkiplan for building regs drawings and structural calculations, having already completed planning drawings and obtaining approval, so no on-site survey etc was carried out and I can't comment on these aspects. But for the work involved in my project, the process worked well and the costs were considerably more favourable than using local architects.

Arkiplan offers an architectural drawing and planning service that you can use to produce drawings for planning applications and buildings control.

Arkiplan has an excellent web portal which allows you to manage various aspects of your projects, including reviewing documentation, providing revisions on plans and drawings and even viewing the 3D scans of your property.

We uses Arkiplan for a side-passage extension on our terraced home and were very pleased with the service that we received. Arkiplan helped us to design the extension, apply for planning permission and party wall agreements, and finally buildings control certification for our build. The whole process took around 3-4 months and then the build went very smoothly thanks to the detailed drawings produced.

We used Arkiplan for quite a large double storey extension having seen a neighbour had also used for their own plans. The process was straight forward, a really intuitive online platform to upload information on my project, dimensions and requirements etc. Arkiplan sorted out all my planning application and technical drawings. They were knowledgeable, responsive and supportive when I needed to make some small changes to our plans.

First class.
The ease of access from speaking to people to uploading documents. Time scales were spot on, they took me from plans in my head to plans being approved by planning.
I cant stress how good they were

Very straightforward process from first correspondence to the final detailed drawings done by Dave chamberlain and very professional company to work with thanks arkiplan

We worked with Arkiplan to scan, measure and plan the design of our downstairs space. The entire records was smooth and ran completely online so it fitted in around our busy work schedule. The team we worked with couldn’t have been more accommodating and changed elements of the design as our thoughts changed.

We used Arkiplan for our extension project. We wanted a ground floor side extension with en-suite and a porch added to the front of the house. Everything went so smoothly. Keeley was very responsive, quick and helpful. The plans arrived & we were able to submit for planning permission via Arkiplan. The only hold up was when our builder advised some modification to the roof design but Arkiplan quickly provided updated drawings and we got planning permission without a problem. All in all, using Arkiplan saved us a lot of money and provided an excellent service. Very happy to recommend to others.

We had Keeley as our designer and loved her ideas. She was always on hand and got back to us very quickly. We would use Arkiplan again and recommend them.

Overall we were happy with the designs created but I didn't understand that the details drawings weren't part of the package, so I couldn't just give these to my builder as they were.

Having a clear and thorough portal made my experience great. I'm a first time renovator and Arkiplan covered all the steps in a thorough way and I'm well on my way to building my dream home.

We had a great experience with Arkiplan. They are both friendly and efficient and we're able to think outside the box so that our project could be done professionally.

Excellent online portal. Made everything really easy to use and stay up to date with as it progresses. Our architect was very receptive and responsive to all the comments we had of their drafts. Made the first time experience so much less anxiety inducing

Very attentive and professional

Clear and precise information, experienced architects understanding the clients requirements.
