Great service with good communications
These guys are great and managed to successfully pickup, and send my 20ft container all the way from the UK to Australia. They were very good with their communications, but they do expect you to be somewhat experienced in filling out the forms needed. They'll answer you if have a question but you need to ask it So if you're inexperienced, be sure to ask about everything because they won't check it for you.

Lack of Communication
They never update you on where your car is. I had to constantly chase them which resulted in me paying an extra 3600 in storage fees at the port of arrival because they didn't tell me the car had arrived. Wouldn't recommend them as they lack proper communication skills.

To clarify what happened, the agent in Durban were trying to contact the receiver to inform him the vehicle is about to arrive but they were not able to reach him, so the advised the shipping line and I immediately informed you but you came back to us three days later even apologizing for late reply. So we kept you informed but you were the one that arranged clearance late and also only finished making the payment after the vehicle had arrived at the port.

Jason from Ascope Shipping was helpful explaining the service and conditions without being patronising. Answered all my question completely in simple language I could understand, even without prior knowledge of international RoRo shipping. Price was competitive. The only reservation I have is that I was not told that final leg to Dominica is in container, not RoRo, which added port costs to unload the vehicle from container.

Excellent service by Ascope.
Over the last 7 years we have sent 5 vehicles to Japan, including a double decker bus and 2 Electric Vehicles (one of which we did last month).
Every vehicle arrived in excellent condition in Japan.
They also arranged the collection of most of the vehicles to take to the UK port too.
Every time Ascope kept us up to date with the latest state of play and always reply back very quickly to all emails and phone calls.
Thank you Jacob and Ascope team. We look forward to using your services again.
