I booked six nights at Anantara Eastern Mangroves in Abu Dhabi via Asia Rooms. I received confirmation that my booking was confirmed, that payment had been taken and a voucher was issued. I received two telephone calls to check my debit card details. Two weeks later, Asia rooms sent me an email to say that the hotel had failed to honour my booking and that it had been cancelled. I expressed disappointment that this should happen having had payment taken from my account. They promised a refund. When the refund arrived it was over £60GBP short of the amount paid! Asia Rooms not only refused to make good the difference (explaining that this was due to "dynamic currency" and that my bank should sort it out) but also refused any compensation whatsoever. The moral of this story? Don't trust Asia Rooms.

we always use asia rooms as it very easy to find a hotel just wish that you could pay there and then not pay when you check in to your hotel

Easy to book hotels through AsianRooms.Com but I have never experience the situation at the site. Solely based on my trust to the website.Easy booking process but the output of the bookings is a bit confusing e.g.
"Standard Double Room sleeps 2. Room only. Non Smoking requested. 1 Adult." ......... why the phrase " 1 Adult " comes out whereas my booking is for double occupancy.

For flexible cancellation on hotel booking, Asiarooms should indicate whether the hotel requires to hold any amount for hotel reservation, especially when we are using a debit card.
Cash payment upon check in should also be an option for the customers. We are also paying a higher price for flexible cancellation rooms rather than the non refundable rooms due to the flexibility for us to be able to do adjustment to the reservations.
I get very upset when the bank email and says that my card is invalid whereas it is an active card and because of that they are unable to process the booking. Its stressful for me as a customer!

Years back I used Asiarooms quite a lot but got frustrated by having to wait 48 hours (often longer) to confirm my bookings. This has all changed now, and with the new-look customer service and the contact options, especially the chat facility, they are once again taking on the competition. I also have to thank them for a rapid and effective response to my request for an amendment to my latest booking in Manila.

I had requested a travel agency to find me a hotel for our Singapore stay but was a bit shocked by the prices they quoted. So i decided to look on my own. I remembered our experience in booking hotels with Asia Rooms from our visit to Malaysia three years ago and decided to check it out. Result was a huge range of hotels to choose from and prices well below those quoted by the Agency. The reservation process was quick and efficient. So far so good

Well I'm not the power traveller, but when I'm doing travel reservation I want a website that shows me all possibilities in a chosen area. I want to see what I expect. So this is exactly what asiaroom.com is offering. I will not have to worry that the price is only an eyecatcher but is the price I will have to pay. What I'm curious about is to compare the rating of the hotel on the page after visiting it. If this will fit well, asiarooms.com has done a good job.

I was not so happy about using the webpage on a tablet or a smartphone. I will try the apps that have been lunched lately. But otherwise I like the usability of this site.

Very good experience, but too bad hotels seem like lesser choice to agoda.

Asia rooms is the first and the last site I need to make my accommodation reservations. I have used Asia rooms many time and always been satisfied with my booking experience. AsiaRooms offered the best rate as compared to other sites, and when I made the booking online I was recommended to contact the customer service, which I did. I called the number given and within seconds I was served by a customer service officer who was very polite and helpful. The reason I couldn't make the booking online was because there were 2 nights of the many nights I booked which were not available. Not only the customer service officer managed to get those 2 nights from the hotel, he also made an effort to ensure I get the same rate for those 2 nights with the special offered rate. All in all I am very satisfied with the service.

Got some good deals on a hotel room, but right after I booked it I accidentally canceled by mistake. (Stupid hands, decided to click on the buttons on the site)

Called up the customer service rep and within 15 minutes I got my booking back.

I normally always look for deals on all other booking sites and have looked on Asia Rooms a few time and never booked with them but tis time I got the best possible deal on Asia Rooms and thier booking process was very simple with no hidden extras. Simply awesum experience, would highly recommend this site to all.
