Any chance of speaking to a real person?’
No worry taking your monthly payment, not so easy trying to get anyone at the branch or customer service to speak to you. Terrible digital / automated service that goes round in circles but doesn’t resolve.
No prompt call back, and when tried another route, ie the sales line ( of course that’s answered) when they realise it’s not for sales, put on hold and cut off ……. Back to BMW’s I think!!
First experience with Audi - Certainly made an impression
Went to Audi to get my car fixed for a recall notice.
Walked into the service centre at about 8:30am and the woman ignored me for about 5 minutes while I was standing in front of her, she then said put the key in the login kiosk, so I did.
I then went into the waiting area and worked there for three hours, no one approached me so I went up to someone and asked when my car might get done, she said she would find out and then disappeared into the ether and never came back.
I saw her again and asked her again, she then said ok ill find out to then disappear again and never came back AGAIN.
I was now getting very frustrated with the limited communication, so I went and asked someone else at a desk, she looked up my reg and said ohh we didn't realise you were waiting here and I don't think the car is due to be done today.
At which point I lost my nerve and had a full-blown meltdown (no swearing but I was polite and firm).
I then went out for lunch and came back, my car was all done, and I was given a "gift" which i presume was given to me to not write a bad review but here we are.
To round off my experience I asked what was the amber caution (Tyres - Canister) for in my Audi health check, she said that "I didn't have a tyre inflation canister" to which point I said, "I do have one but it’s not an Audi branded one", to which point she said, "Ahh it’s because it’s not AUDI BRANDED" so suddenly it becomes a problem.
Audi, Please sort out your customer service because its shockingly bad, you don't have to treat people super nice or anything but just acknowledge people in your waiting area every now and again, it’s not difficult and you had loads of people floating around the office. Also, it’s nice to have a Free Audi health check but don't put items on there just because they are not Audi branded, all tyre inflation canisters have to follow the same ISO safety standards as yours so don't even play that card. (I work in regulatory safety testing)
Overall, I like Audi Cars from the older era at least since they are very well made and engineered, which I have a huge amount of respect for, but just because I’m not spending money at your service centre please do not treat me like a 2nd class citizen.
Service Required Indictor Message still on dashboard after Audi Harrogate Dealer Visit
Audi Harrogate still failing on Customer Service Satisfaction by refusing to complete a 2 minute job to re-set The Service Indicator computer dashboard message, following our oil service with them on my wife’s Audi A3 (something that they have always done on many previous occasions!) . But now they will not do this unless we have another Full Major Service (when already had this done recently) at a quoted price of £1300 with ‘extras’ required , all this despite the car only having completed 2000 miles since the last service.
So, took the car down to my mate at our local garage and with his Snap On Diagnostic computer, this annoying service indicator dashboard message was removed in 5 minutes and the cost? - nothing, no charge, zero, nada, zilch. Job done, happy wife, happy life! And just a wee but cheaper than the money making , exorbitant, inflated dealer servicing prices! You have been warned folks.
My engine seized on my Audi a3 and I my…
My engine seized on my Audi a3 and I my warranty ran out but Audi have been absolutely amazing with us they’ve helped us sort it all out, me and my wife were is so much stress and I can’t thank Audi enough.
Windscreen Calibration - Leaving with error messages from Audi garage
Not great customer service from Audi, had my Etron in for a motor replacement under warranty, upon change found that the 12v battery needed changing, this was changed and caused the front camera calibration to stop working and therefore lane assist and reactive lighting to stop working. Audi Worcester refused to recalibrate the windscreen despite having the equipment to conduct the work, due to the screen in situ being an after market screen and not have ‘the Audi logo’ on it! I have had to leave the garage with error messages that were not showing on my car prior to in going in, I, myself, out of my pocket have had to pay for recalibration. Really poor customer service.
Most unreliable mistake I have made
The most frustrating company I have ever dealt with, customer service is shocking.
Signed a business lease on brand new Audi A5 plug in hybrid, delivered in December. Some months after it was delivered - came out in the morning (car charging over night) to find it totally disabled (both drive battery and 12v battery dead) could not even open the doors (electric door handles). 5 hour wait for Audi Assist (missed important meeting) promised by engineer after reset it would not happen again. Some weeks later, same thing - this time booked into Audi Dundee to diagnose problem - Audi unable to source the promised loan car, eventual rental car provided from Enterprise but had to be returned after 5 days - Audi kept the car for over 3 weeks - returned it saying no fault can be found. Several weeks later same issue - only this time all the electronics have failed - electric door handles don't work, drivers door non-functional (cannot even open the petrol flap to fuel it) - so I now have a car that I cannot charge and I cannot put petrol in. Was booked in by Audi Assist to Camerons Audi in Perth - early April (still don't know if the car is fixed). Audi Customer Service and VW Financial Services have refused to engage, several weeks of emails, phone calls etc have just been ignored, promises to return calls never materialise. Car still with dealer, for a car a little over 4 months old has been off the road for over 6 weeks, totally unreliable and no one from VWFinance or Audi will even respond to the request to end the lease. Of course they continue to take money - have now secured another car (need this for work) so am paying for 2 cars whilst VW Finance simply ignore me.
I understand new cars are complex and that software issues arise - but their treatment of me as a customer is shocking. I am now having to resort to a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman - all the time and stress this involves is simply taking too much energy. If there is anyone providing stock responses from VW finance or Audi please do not ask me to call you again - I have used my real name, you have all my details, you have all the relevant information needed to resolve this.
Costly "free service"?
As part of the deal a "free" service was included for my Audi Q3?
A phone call later in the day by Audi described how i needed around £2000 worth of work done? e.g. New Discs and brake pads, new tyres, new spark plugs, new brake oil....
Now, when i actually asked them to break this figure down and on completion i noted the tyre depth was well above the required depth, the brake discs had surface rust outside the braking area which obviously has no effect on the braking and the spark plugs did not require to be changed out as was recommended??
Ultimately my bill was less than £100, which is shocking and i really hope Audi management sort this all about the shareholder and not the customer attitude?? This could have been some vulnerable old lady with little funds and that has ensured i will never buy another Audi!
Audi management should go to a Porsche garage....now that's how you run a dealership!
Hang your heads in shame Audi!
Had my audi tt serviced at ellesmere…
Had my audi tt serviced at ellesmere port dealership an they were outstanding in everyway from top to bottom, i could not fault them from start to finish 🤩 thank you Audi
Predatory snake oil salesmen.
A predatory, dishonest company that seeks to deceive you out of every penny and give nothing back.
Genuinely the worst car company I've ever dealt with (I'm 40).
You'd be better off with pretty much anyone else. Bunch of crooks.
What a terrible company Wolverhampton Audi
What a terrible company Wolverhampton Audi are I booked my car in to be serviced 3 months ago so I would have a curtsy car phone me a week ago to tell me they hadn’t got one for another week phone me the day before a week later at 5 pm to say they hadn’t got one again said they would ring me back at 6 pm never did by a car from here at your peril worst car dealership I’ve ever felt with.
Similar to everyone else's 1* experience
Similar to everyone else's 1* experience on here. Customer service both at Branches and through Audi UK is awful. Last time my car was in the workshop, they hadn't even completed work I paid for and it wasn't noticed until I checked before walking out the door. Will be looking at selling my car and going for a different brand with better customer service and more reliable cars.

Just called Audi for some assistance on a couple of error messages that had appeared on the dash board this morning. I was concerned as I have to drive 50 miles back to my garage and just wanted to know if it was safe. After being transferred 5 times on a 30 minute phone call to get a woman at the end who told me everything the first person had already said and then followed on to say she couldn’t help because she isn’t trained. Why put me through to people who are not trained. What a waste of time they are and very unwilling to help
This is simply the worst main dealer
This is simply the worst main dealer I have experienced.....they have a monopoly and they know it..... condescending staff....poor customer relationship.....and absolutely zero attention to minor malfunctions....twice they have phobed me off simply because the issue was too minor for them to investigate properly.....so never again.
Alarming how poor customer support is.
Alarming how poor customer support from Audi UK has become. Had a long standing issue with my car and absolutely zero support offered. Supplying dealer is powerless to support without audi uk engagement. Without doubt changing my loyalty to the brand which is very sad times indeed. Judging by other reviews this is becoming all too common. Worrying times as a consumer.

2nd time in 10 months Audi Q4 2024 will only charge to 80% cannot change the settings to 100% very very frustrating and after communication with Audi digital services for 3 days I am now referred to an Audi dealer, time wasted and waiting for a firm appointment to fix… this is 2nd time software issues in 12 months and 2 dealer visits! come on Audi sort this out
Russell Cooper - Wolverhampton Audi! Best in the country through & through!
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Russell Cooper at Audi Wolverhampton for the past 10 years and I can confidently say his service has been nothing short of exceptional throughout.
Russell has never once let me down. His professionalism, honesty and consistency are truly outstanding and over the years I have come to trust his opinion implicitly. In an industry where trust and transparency are so important, Russell sets the standard.
The primary reason I continue to return is because of the level of service he provides. His approach is always genuine, loyal, and customer-focused, ensuring that every experience is smooth, straightforward and handled with care.
It is rare to find someone so dedicated to delivering such a high level of customer service over such a long period of time. Russell is a true asset to Aud and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy experience.
We bought our new Audi Q5 in August 24
We bought our new Audi Q5 in August 24. To date we have put over 5 litres of oil in it (oil warning light keeps coming on) and been told there is nothing wrong with the car!! It has had to be towed back to Audi Manchester on one occasion. We don’t want something for nothing just to hand back a substandard car!. Audi Manchester pretty much told us to do one but you don’t put 5 litres of oil in a new car! We have been complaining for 9 months (about 3 months after the issue started) and been fobbed off ever since. It is so upsetting that no one at Audi is concerned about this. There is a lawsuit in the US against Audi regarding faulty pistons burning excessive oil! The car does not have an oil leak!! If anyone has any advice on how to get out of this nightmare it would be appreciated! Faceless corporate companies don’t give a monkeys once they have your money!
Update:this company are not registered with the Motor Ombudsman so they do not adhere to the code of contact!!!!!They are now part of Stratstone!!!!
Audi Q4 e-tron 45 Sportback 2025
Audi Q4 e-tron 45 Sportback 2025 – Review
Introduction
The Audi Q4 e-tron 45 Sportback enters a competitive segment of premium electric SUVs, promising distinctive design, refined comfort, and modern practicality. After months of real-world use across urban routes, long motorway journeys, and varied weather conditions, this review offers a balanced yet candid evaluation of its design, performance, and overall ownership experience.
Exterior Design
From the outside, the Q4 e-tron Sportback stands out with a bold and assertive aesthetic.
Aggressive front look: The sharp grille design and sculpted body lines give it a sporty, confident presence.
Ground clearance: The elevated stance is genuinely practical for everyday UK driving—handling speed bumps, uneven roads, and rural surfaces with ease.
Overall, the exterior styling is one of the car’s strongest attributes.
Interior & Comfort
Despite its premium branding, the interior layout falls short in several important areas.
Fixed Gear Console Design
The most frustrating interior feature is the oversized fixed gear console, which creates several issues:
It occupies nearly all the usable storage space beneath it.
The arrangement of buttons and controls is ergonomically inconvenient, often requiring awkward hand positioning while driving.
The wireless phone charger placement is particularly ill-conceived. It sits vertically in a recess where you cannot see the phone screen during charging, making it both impractical and counterintuitive.
Other Interior Notes
Comfortable seating: Both front and rear seats offer good support and ample legroom, even for taller occupants.
Rear-view camera: The camera quality is noticeably poor and deteriorates further in rainy conditions, reducing visibility and driver confidence.
Overall, the interior design feels inconsistent with what one would expect from a modern Audi.
Performance & Handling
Acceleration: The Q4 e-tron 45 delivers reasonable acceleration—adequate for city driving and motorway overtakes, though not especially thrilling.
Handling: In narrow streets and tight spaces, the vehicle performs well, offering predictable steering and ease of manoeuvring.
However, wet-road stability is a concern. The vehicle tends to slip on wet surfaces despite its 20-inch wheels, raising questions about overall traction and tyre-platform dynamics.
Efficiency & Charging
This aspect of ownership is where the Q4 e-tron Sportback struggles the most.
Unreliable real-world range: The actual mileage frequently falls short of the advertised figures. Weather, speed, gradients, and traffic have a significant impact on range.
80% charging limit: The default battery setting restricts usable capacity from the outset.
High rapid-charging costs: Fast chargers on motorways often cost more per mile than petrol or diesel, making long-distance trips unexpectedly expensive.
Range anxiety: Because battery behaviour is unpredictable, long journeys often involve constant monitoring and concern about reaching the next charger.
In reality, the manufacturer’s mileage claims are rarely achievable under typical conditions.
Summary
Pros
Aggressive, sporty exterior
Good ground clearance
Comfortable seats with generous legroom
Reasonable acceleration
Excellent maneuverability in narrow or urban environments
Cons
Poor interior ergonomics due to oversized gear console
Impractically positioned wireless phone charger
Subpar rear-camera quality, especially in rain
Weak road grip on wet surfaces
Unreliable real-world range performance
Higher-than-expected charging costs on long journeys
Ongoing range anxiety due to inconsistent efficiency
Conclusion
The Audi Q4 e-tron 45 Sportback offers striking looks and a comfortable ride, but its limitations—particularly the impractical interior layout, inconsistent efficiency, and wet-weather handling—significantly affect everyday usability. While it performs well in urban settings, long-distance travel can be unexpectedly costly, stressful, and unpredictable.
Personally, I feel fortunate to have the vehicle only on a three-year lease, and I am already looking forward to transitioning to a more reliable and predictable EV once the contract ends.
I’ve been to the Audi Watford
I’ve been to the Audi Watford, using the same sales representative, for my 3rd car now & exceptionally happy with the level of customer care - his attention to detail, descriptions & explanations of things, being thorough, transparent & always accommodating of my daughter, all theses factors made the experience a pleasant one & I’ll be forever thankful & grateful for Ozzy Lagrabli!
A deeply unpleasant experience
In conjuction with my local Audi dealer, Audi UK customer service denied a 100% nailed on warranty claim and made things as awkward as possible for me. I should have listened to my friends who have had similar dealings with them. Audi may be a premium brand but in my experience, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Luckily for me the supplying dealer was excellent and sorted the problem out.
