Our experience with Bargate was truly amazing. They helped us a lot throughout our journey of purchasing a home. As you can imagine there are a lot of questions and concerns that come with the process of purchasing a house. However with continued support from the Bargate team especially the sales department Tony, Zoe and Allison we were supported continuously and all of our queries were answered and any issues we encountered were solved quickly as possible. I definitely recommend using Bargate as even now after we have been in our home for over a month they are still providing support when we need it.

From my very first contact with Bargate Homes through to meeting the wider team, I’ve had a fantastic experience. They’re a great developer, and I absolutely love my new home.

Nothing is ever too much trouble, even now that I’ve moved in. Zoe, Tony and Josh have all been incredibly helpful, friendly and approachable, and it’s always lovely to have a chat whenever we cross paths.

Myself and My partner visited the Admirals Green Development in Warsash on a Saturday morning with no arranged appointment, but we were greeted by Johnathan who was extremely accommodating to this. Johnathan is a great listener and was understanding of our current situation and was able to offer experience and advice in our quest to move from our current home into this wonderful new development. The show home is presented beautifully and the standard and aesthetics of the new builds on first impressions look fantastic. Our experience with Bargate so far has been excellent, we haven't purchased a new build property before and everyone we've dealt with has been efficient and helpful explaining each step of the process clearly. Particular thanks to Seth, Maddie and Victoria for their help and progress updates, and to Stephanie for making the process smoother. We're excited to move into our new home!

We recently purchased our new home at Shepherds Green with Bargate Homes, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

From the very beginning, the sales team – Seth, Maddie and Victoria – were fantastic. They were always on hand to answer any questions, provide regular updates. We felt informed and supported throughout the purchase.

We also took advantage of Bargate's part exchange scheme for our previous home, which made the move so much easier. It removed a lot of the uncertainty and stress that comes with selling a property, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering a new build. Bargate also recommended Moore Barlow as our solicitors, and they provided an excellent service throughout the legal process.

Although there were a few delays which meant our moving date was pushed back, the team communicated with us every step of the way. We were able to visit the the property at any opportunity we liked before completion, allowing us to see the progress being made and take measurements for furniture and other items. This made us feel involved and helped us prepare for moving day.

We also met with Tamsin, who guided us through choosing our flooring and helped us visualise how our kitchen and bathrooms would look with all of the fixtures, fittings and finishes. Her knowledge and advice made those decisions much easier.

Before we moved in, Nina gave us a comprehensive handover of our new home, explaining how everything worked and answering all of our questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, which gave us real confidence when moving into a brand-new house.

As with most new-build homes, we did encounter a few snagging issues after moving in. However, Bargate's Customer Care team have been excellent. Every issue we've raised has been logged promptly, contractors have attended as arranged, and repairs or replacements have been carried out efficiently. The aftercare has been just as impressive as the buying experience.

Overall, we've had a great experience with Bargate Homes and are absolutely delighted with our new home at Shepherds Green. We'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new-build property.

We came across Bargate at Shepherds Green when viewing other properties for sale in the area and visited their sales office unannounced to be greeted by Maddie's friendly face, ready smile and warm welcome.
She offered help and advice and arranged a site visit to see several plots.
After two further site visits we are in the process of buying and have found the service from the sales team of Seth, Maddie and Victoria to be professional, informative and helpful.
Answers to our questions were either given immediately or, if needs be, someone would find out the answer and report back later.
On one occasion, Theo (a trainee on a learning curve!) joined us. He was courteous, respectful and attentive to our needs. Theo, undoubtedly, will be an asset to any organisation which employs him.
We look forward to completing the purchase satisfactorily with the help of the staff at Shepherds Green.

We brought our bargate home in 2022

They promised us there would be no parking on the roads. We have crossroads with no give way so people go down it at 40mph on the wrong side of the road without stopping. We have people who are parking on extremely dangerous places like on the crossroad taking our visibility to zero. I cannot safely leave my house most days because of how bad the parking is.

We complained for years. Not just us but many on the estate. The estate managements idea was a parking enforcement company. Everybody was up in arms so they dropped it

That’s it. The other day the access to the estate was blocked. No one could go in or out because someone had stopped right in the middle of the road. What’s Bargate answer? Nothing,….had someone been in cardiac arrest that would have stopped them for 15 mins. Cardiac arrest is a cat 1 response of around 8mine and adding on 15 would have made a huge difference with someone in cardiac arrest.

No bollsrds. Nothing. No white lines. I’ve written emails saying someone will get hurt on the crossroads as not only is there no road lines etc or give ways there’s also people parking on it so you have zero visibility looking at it

Bargate seems to not want to actually do anything other than the parking management which none of us wanted. They went from zero to 100

They refuse to do anything about the DANGEROUS parking. Not the lazy or inconsiderate. But the actual dangerous parking which would impede emergency vehicles. I have begged and begged for help. I even got the MP involved and Bargate still haven’t helped with the parking

Wouldn’t recommend at all

Staff were extremely helpful (Jonathan and Joel) and really worked hard to help us get the home we wanted. Incredibly friendly and accommodating, really knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. Quality of the homes and the estate itself is superb. Other developers in similar price range nowhere close on quality or customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend Bargate!

What has really stood out for us was and is the outstanding and on-going support we received from Zoe, Maddy and Tony at the Admirals Green site in Warsash. They were brilliant! And we really love the house - just right for us.

We visited the new Shepherds Green development to look at the show homes and get a feel for the general area.

Was very well looked after by Seth who not only walked us through the show homes, but also made arrangements for us to see one of the other recently completed houses that was one of the styles most suited to our needs.

Seth was clearly very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. As agreed he also followed up our visit with an email summarising our visit and asking if we had anything further to ask..

Overall a really useful visit and we were very impressed with the whole set up and professionalism.

After 3 years of searching, we are absolutely thrilled to have finally found our dream home with Bargate Homes. We exchanged contracts today and we are over the moon!!! 🤩

From the very beginning, the whole process has been smooth and straightforward. The sales team has been consistently kind, friendly, and always available, responding promptly by phone and email. They truly listened to our requirements and made everything feel easy and well supported throughout. We had such a wonderful experience with the Heritage Place Sales Team at Bargate Homes from start to finish. From the moment we viewed one of their show homes last year, we could immediately see the difference in build quality. Their homes have generous space, taller ceilings, and beautiful kerb appeal. It truly stood out from any other newbuilds we had seen. When we came back for a second viewing for a different house type, it felt like an easy and confident decision to reserve the property on the spot. So we did reserved the property type we viewed on the day. We simply couldn’t let it go…

The sales team were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Shoutout to Tony, Jonathan, Seth, Joel, Matthew, and Nina you guys were all incredible. Every interaction was met with warmth, professionalism, and care. These guys were always approachable, accommodating, and quick to communicate, which made such a difference during what can often be a stressful time.

Although the conveyancing process was the most painful part of our home buying journey due to our experience with our initial solicitors from Gardner Champion Firm who were slow, lazy and incompetent (sorry I have to mention these words) Bargate were exceptionally patient and supportive throughout. They guided us in finding an alternative solicitor when we made the decision to change, and that sped up the conveyancing process and made us complete in 2 weeks!

Thanks to the dedication and efficiency of the Bargate team and their recommended solicitors, our move was back on track and completed much more smoothly than we had hoped. We are truly grateful for all your help and couldn’t be happier with our new home!

This itinerary has been more than a year in the making with my very first visit sometime in January/Feb 2025.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan who took me through everything Bargate with regards to the builds at Heritage Place. I had the opportunity to visit the site and also the available show homes.

Fast-forward to July/August 2025 i made another visit with Victoria in attendance where upon i decided to go ahead. Subsequent dealings carried on with Jonathan yet again, who has proved knowledgeable, kind and staright to the point.

It's really been a subtle and well timed journey with a large team/family at Bargate that have been absolutely nothing but supportive along the way. I understand it's their job. Nevertheless, i think people should be commended when things are done rightly with respect and gratitude; and of course not let off when things aren't right, but still in a kind manner.
So, Jonathan THANKS for being a champ.

The weekly updates are commendable. Even when the update photos seemed monotonous and nothing new per se, it still came through and i just looked forward to it.
While Jonathan was away it seemed to slip up a bit, but then to the rescue were Tony, Joel, Seth and Charlie who juggled it so nicely to keep me updated.
Tony was phenomenal in accommodating me when i turned up for an appointment on the wrong date, lol!!

It's really cool that Bargate has a place away from all the building construction where one could settle in and look at various options available for the interiors and modifications.

Is it all perfect...definitely not, but all these amazing people - Jonathan, Tamsin, Nina, Tony, Charlie, Seth and Joel - definitely deserve a 5 star.

Are there snags, of course there are. I have had a private check done on the building. Yet, as with all things done with the human hand and mind, there will be imperfections. How much and how well we can get through it will depend on Bargate as a building company and i'm definitely looking forward to the same goodwill i have enjoyed with these lovely people aforementioned.

Thinking of buying with Bargate? Give it a go, you can't exactly go wrong. Just be certain of what you want and if they can meet it, you're in luck.

As a first-time buyer, I was naturally quite anxious about the whole process, but Bargate made the experience incredibly smooth from start to finish. If you’re considering buying a house, they’re honestly the only name that comes to mind—they really do take care of you.

From the very beginning, when I went to view their properties, I met Jonathan, the Development Manager. He was calm, friendly, and highly professional, and always patient with my many calls and questions, which I really appreciated.

Later on, I worked with Tamsin during the selection process, and Nina for the home demonstration—both were fantastic and made everything clear and straightforward. I also had the chance to speak with Margaret and Tony, and they were just as helpful and supportive.

Overall, the entire team was amazing throughout the journey. I’m truly grateful to Bargate for helping make my dream of owning a home come true.
