While we had a great experience with Bargate Homes sales team and some very positive post-sales support, we now observe Bargate Customer Service becomes very unresponsive and seems to really not care anymore about customers. Since we moved to our home we listed a number of items to be fixed. In the initial days, Bargate team was very efficient in coming to our house and fixing the items listed. We had very positive experiences. In the last 3 months however Bargate teams fails to schedule the resolution of the remaining items (like fixing the front door). It seems we need to beg them for any update on the topics jointly agreed and they fail to understand that their responsibility remains for the period of the warranty. I hope Bargate improves otherwise we would NOT ANYMORE recommend them as builders.

We can not fault the experience with Bargate up to now. We had a troublesome time with our chain and Jonathan, Terry and Victoria in the Bargate sales team were there every step of the way and helped ensure we still made it into our dream home.
After moving in, the after sales care has been excellent, with minor snags resolved promptly.
We would highly recommend and couldn't be happier.

The Bargate Homes team have been very good thus far. They have answered all our queries patiently, and have been very professional.
It would be helpful if they could be available after 9-5 office hours for a couple of hours.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with Bargate Homes. The sales team—Callum, Zoe, and Maddie—were absolutely brilliant throughout. They kept me regularly updated with emails, photos, and progress reports on the build, which really helped me feel involved and reassured every step of the way. A special mention must go to Charlotte, who was an absolute godsend during the process. Her support, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and would highly recommend Bargate Homes to anyone.

Jonathan and the team are fantastic!

Our journey started back in 2024, when we were trying to decide which house type was the best for us. After A LOT of viewings and going almost every weekend to the development we finally made our decision. Jonathan, Victoria and Tony have been absolutely amazing. Helping with every question, helping us with the lenght process of buying when you have a chain and explaining every step of the way. This is our second time dealing with a new build and this team has made the experience amazing.

We appreciated the team’s effort in communicating regularly and helping us along the buying process. A special thanks to Jonathan for going out of his way to provide helpful updates on the property. The customer care service is also good.

Great experience purchasing our home through Bargate!

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and will always try to help where they can. Response times are great, the level of detail they go into about your new home and the build quality is amazing. The level of care is 5 star. We are yet to complete and have our snagging but i have no doubt Bargate will continue to deliver at a high standard.

Thank you to Margaret, Jonathan, and the rest of the team for making our transition smooth so far!

Only (very) minor points are that we are not able to do a snagging before completion, only the limited PCI checklist covered by NHQC - but i believe this is standard across all new builds???

The customer support from the team at Heritage Place has been excellent. We've met with Jonathan, Victoria, Tony and Margaret and all been very professional while being supportive. They listen to our questions and provide us with answers simple to understand. They've made our experience so far very satisfying.

Our journey with Bargate Homes began a few months ago, and from the very start, it has been nothing short of exceptional. Everyone we've interacted with has been incredibly supportive, but two individuals in particular -Tony and Jonathan - stand out for making the experience truly memorable.

From our first meeting with Tony, we felt welcomed and assured. His approachable nature and genuine interest in helping us, rather than just selling a property, immediately put us at ease. Soon after, we met Jonathan, whose calm and knowledgeable presence only reinforced our confidence in the decision we were making.

Throughout the process, they have both been consistently patient, allowing us the time we needed to think things through without pressure. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our questions and concerns have been invaluable in what can often be a stressful time.

At every stage, we've felt informed, respected, and cared for. The whole experience has exceeded our expectations, and we’re grateful to Bargate Homes -not just for the beautiful property, but for making the path to purchasing it so smooth and reassuring.

Before you buy a house from Bargate , ask Bargate why they are using PREMIER GUARANTEE check out Premier Guarantee Trust Pilot Reviews 93% of people have given them 1 STAR which is the minimum you have to give anyway …we’ve had issues with Bargate who are refusing to rectify issues, we have then got in contact with premier , who originally sided with us , then after speaking to Bargate , have now sided with Bargate, and are now refusing to talk to us . Saying case closed ! So this is supposed to be an impartial company who guarantee the works . They ARE NOT anything like NHBC . The last time my husband spoke to Premier , they said we didn’t qualify as a policy holder as he is an electrician, so if you are in the trade you may want to rethink buying from Bargate, as apparently as they will use any excuse to wriggle out ! Premier actually hung up on our conversation! As customers who paid over £560k for a brand new home , with issues, we have been left high and dry and no one will talk to us. We have also been told by Bargate they are in dispute with us , and we have NO further communications directly and we have to speak their solicitor, who have also ignored us and just hoping we will disappear! Disgusting!!! You have been warned !!! Lisa Green head of customer experience , rude , she actually went out of her way to go to a site where by husband was working to try and pull him on his electrical work (where she MASSIVELY FAILED) where my husbands good at his job. She stood in our house and said yes I went to that site and apparently inspected his work ! She could not pull him on anything , however the workmanship on our new home is disgraceful ! She’s rude and disrespectful. Why would someone do that ???

We are in the process of purchasing a new build with Bargate, and we’re very happy with the process so far. The sales office team: Jonathan, Victoria and Tony are great! They are very friendly and helpful, and they all go out of their way to answer our questions, provide information and clarify everything we need to know. Communication has been great. We recently moved into our new home at Herons Quarter, Warsash, and as first-time buyers, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic—thanks in large part to the incredible sales team.

From our very first enquiry, Callum, Zoe, and Maddie were outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble—they were friendly, approachable, and consistently proactive. As first-time buyers, we had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to the outstanding sales team. Victoria, Jonathan, and Tony were incredibly prompt and responsive, even when working around tight schedules and deadlines. Their consistent, clear, and transparent communication made a world of difference, and we truly appreciated how all our questions and special requests were relayed seamlessly between the sales, solicitors and site teams. What could have been a stressful process turned out to be smooth and enjoyable—far better than we expected. The sales team’s support played a huge role in making our first home purchase such a positive experience.

The whole process of buying a home with Bargate has been great for us. We viewed several new builds in the area and we kept coming back to Heritage place for the bespoke houses and informative customer service. We mostly dealt with Tony and Jonathan, they were honest and knowledgable and kept us up to date throughout all the stages. There was a great level of support towards completion and professional service when reacting to our questions and queries. No task was too small for this team and our new home demonstration was really helpful to. All of the information post completion from the customer service team has been excellent and the Guided Home account is a great tool with all your house information you would ever need. We would recommend Bargate to our family and friends and look forward to life in our new home!!

Well the team at Bargate couldn’t have done any more to accommodate all our many queries and requests for information and to view possible homes. Sadly it didn’t come to pass despite Callum, Maddie and Zoe’s immense patience and helpful information. Such a great team of staff who are immensely welcoming, understanding and professional.
