People always say buying a house is one of the most stressful events in your life, with Bargate Homes this whole process has been seamless. Jonathan, Tony and Victoria are a great team who have gone above and beyond to assist with our questions and queries - always very promptly and sometimes even out of hours. We are currently waiting for our house to complete at Heritage Place, everything about the property is stunning - beautifully designed and well built. Both my husband and I are in the construction industry and we wouldn't recommend a building company unless we truly meant it. I can honestly say the construction team, the sales team and other departments we have dealt with over the course of the build have been brilliant, we can't wait make our house a home.

From the beginning, the Bargate Homes Team was very friendly and helpful providing details about the properties (Jonathan, Seth & Victoria at Heritage Place).

Then once the property was reserved and purchase agreed, the Sales Team was great at providing updates on a weekly basis with pictures of the progress and prompt responses to any queries.

Another key point was the good experience with the choices appointment to pick the personalised options and finishes to enhance our home (Tamsin was very helpful) with a very high quality materials.

Just over 1 month living in our new home and it feels great, with a personalised new home demonstration session when they handed over the keys (completion).

Lisa and Ashlea-Fleur from Customer Service have been very supportive and quick to reply for any details we have found.

So far, very happy with Bargate Homes and would recommend them over any competitors.

The sales team was helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. They were also supportive on the day we moved in and were on hand to answer questions. Both Jonathan and Tony were helpful and supportive.
There were things that could have been better but all fairly minor, including the home demonstration, where the information didn't reflect the actual property. A list of snags that we are in the process of resolving but nothing that can't be sorted.

This was our first step on the property ladder and the whole process was made very smooth by Bargate homes. Jonathan emailed us weekly updates on the progress of the house. Any questions we had about the development he was quick to answer. Nina gave us a very detailed home demonstration a week before we moved in. We were made to feel very comfortable and no question felt like a stupid question. Tony was great to deal with on the exchange day he helped us with all our questions and was happy to support with anything we we were not sure of. Moving house can be a stressful time however this was very made very easy by all the team.

Moving house after relocating from another region is never easy. Since our first visits to the area before moving from the Northeast, we were very well received by the Sales Team.
It's been a long journey that recently came to the so anticipated completion stage. Victoria, Seth, Jonathan and Tony were there for us every step of the way showing us the houses, explaining everything in detail, answering our questions, handling the negociation and taking our requests to head office.
I've dealt with house purchases before and I can say that we were really fortunate to be taken care by this special (and also very patient) team!

Margaret & Charlie at Norton Chase, Thank you both for your support, patience and guidance. Margaret, Charlie and Charlotte made the move into our second Bargate home calm and relaxed.
Words do not cover how stunning our new home is, all we can say is that we waited over a year and honestly never tempted to look at any other developer… the build quality, design and all staff members down to the road sweeper are polite, helpful and respectful.
If you want a Bargate home …. Best start looking as they sell fast :)

Callum, Zoe, Maddy and Tony all went above and beyond in every aspect of our purchase of our Bargate Home at Herons Quarter. Both before and after completion, nothing has been too much trouble. They kept us informed at every stage and answered all inquiries quickly, getting back to us very promptly if they couldn’t help immediately. We are delighted with our beautiful new home and would not hesitate to recommend the team at Herons Quarter to anyone looking to move house.

Five stars doesn't cover the customer service, help and advice we received from, Callum, Zoe, Tony and Maddie from us enquiring about the plot/home, to us moving in.

We would rate them higher - nothing was too much trouble, they responded to questions and responded promptly, they helped us out when our chain was pushing for an earlier completion date, they liaised with the site manager and head office to ensure we could move in on the correct day. They were with us all the way, and still are after we moved in.

Our Bargate Home is amazing, built to the highest quality and full of amazing extras other bigger house builders wouldn't include. Yes, there were some snags, but they were addressed immediately and with ease, nothing was too much trouble for the site manager or the Customer Care team.

Our experience has been nothing but first class, and we are now enjoying living in an amazing home on an amazing development!

Me and my partner recently bought a dream home with Bargate homes.
We were looking around for months before an agent suggested we go down to the office to talk look around at the plot.

We were met with two smiling, lovely chaps. Seth, who is in our age bracket explained everything to us and walked us through some available houses. He was overall such a top lad that we instantly felt comforted in the process and in the area. While laughing and joking and walking around we knew it would be a great place for us.

I would say that Seth was a tremendous salesman, but that doesn’t go towards the character he had with us - he was so friendly we didn’t feel like we were being sold to, or pressured, but instead welcomed into a fantastic company, who would later streamline us through the buying process, showing us attention throughout the way.

Seth and the rest of the team were always on hand to answer questions, and after we got in the house they even bought us home warming gifts. The whole process couldn’t have gone any better to be honest. Seth was a huge influence in us even buying the place.

Our future in the area is always promising as we know we have the support of the team down the road.

Bargate Homes have been very easy to deal with. Zoe & Callum have been very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I love the little touches that have made the purchase experience more special.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a 3-bedroom home in Heritage Place. Ever since we first visited the show home, Seth, Callum, Victoria, and Jonathan have been extremely helpful, especially with my complicated situation. Every week, we receive an update on the progress of our future home, and the communication has been great! We can't wait to see further progress on the property in the coming weeks. Based on our experience so far, I would definitely recommend using Bargate.

We completed in July on our 3 Bed detached House at Norton Chase, Waterlooville and have to say it has been a very positive experience from viewing the show houses, to our house through its build to finally moving in.
We have received excellent service from Charlie and Margaret in the sales office where nothing is too much trouble. Loved the weekly updates and photos from them. They answered all the questions we had and were very patient whilst we choose from three properties we liked. Also enjoyed visiting the site when we were permitted to view various stages of the construction, although ours was a way ahead in the construction when we purchased it.
The kitchen units and bathroom tiles had already been chosen in our house due to the late stage of the build when we purchased it. However, choosing the flooring and wardrobes was made easy, with a very good choice of flooring, carpets and wardrobes. We attended Bargate’s head office/show office for extras, all items are well displayed making choosing extras easy. We were also given great advice and help from Tasmin. We also got picture updates from Tasmin on what our built-in wardrobes would look like, which was a great help.
The walk-through appointment to demonstrate how your new home works was very informative. Nina was great and knew her stuff, answered all questions we had. She has also helped us since we moved in with the Guided Home App.
The resulting build quality is very good, and shows a great deal of thought and design, and the after sales support appears very encouraging. We have had a few small snagging issues which you would expect in a new build. Ashlea-Fleur from customer services has been brilliant, always responding straight away and keeping us informed of appointments. I would rate their customer service as five stars.

Based on our experience so far, I would definitely recommend Bargate.

The only disappointment was how expensive the extras were but we went along with it as it’s are forever home . Maybe we were out of touch as to how much things cost !

We have received excellent service from all members of the Bargate team and in particular from Charlie and Margaret in the sales office where nothing is too much trouble and both have gone well beyond the extra Mile! We also never felt pressured during the whole purchase process, and everything was carefully explained before committing us to the sale.

We were permitted to view the various stages of construction during the building process on a great many occasions which has been both interesting, instructive and also demonstrated the depth of knowledge Bargate’s sales staff have with explanations on all aspects of the build.

The resulting build quality is very good, and shows a great deal of thought and design, and the after sales support appears very encouraging with a full warranty backup for the next 2 Years.

Based on our experience so far I would definitely recommend Bargate as an excellent option for a new house purchase.

Everything from us first viewing the show homes to getting the keys was so straightforward it’s been the easiest house purchase we’ve ever done. Choosing the upgrades was nice and easy with a good choice of materials. Weekly updates were something we looked forward to, although perhaps the directors could invest in a better camera phone for Margaret & Charlie 😉. We’ve been in a month now, no snags to be concerned about, a very good quality build - well done everyone at Bargate.

I felt Bargate Homes were divided into two parts.
1 The House was really well built with quality fixtures and experienced tradesman, The after sales staff was excellent, any issues were dealt with very quickly, with helpful personnel, could not fault them
2. The Management side, they could not or would not supply the Sales contract upfront, which was very disappointing, I can understand why, it was very one sided in favour of Bargate. Plus the annual maintenance charges are extremely high

Excellent service from Jonathan, Maddie, Tony, Alison and all the team at Rivercross, Warsash.
It was a challenging time, but the team have made it as smooth as possible.
