Our trainer with Bark Busters was Gavin Chambers, who arrived promptly. Gavin firstly introduced himself without our German shepherd pup in the room. My husband and I both found him easy to talk to as we explained our concerns with our pup. Gavin answered any quesions we asked and gave good advice on numerous topics, especially on our pups diet, hopefully to help reduce his reactivity, which is our main issue. He then met our pup and instantly showed us his training skills. Our pup responded well with Gavin's training and then myself and my husband having a turn. When Gavin left, my husband and I felt there was light at the end of the tunnel. We have a long way to go with our pup, but was left with training techniques which we now feel confidant to go forward with making our pup a calm behaived dog.

Tom is brilliant, he gently educated me about the bad habits that I had created with my pet. I wish that I had made contact earlier as my puppy is calmer and responsive to me bringing back joy. I highly recommend Tom and Bark Busters.

We reached out to Bark Busters to get a bit of help with our 1 year old cocker spaniel to help with things such as resource guarding & attention seeking. Initially we spoke to Sarah and even just after a conversation we could tell that we were in safe hands. We had our first session with Tom & he explained everything from how to understand our dog & the best way to correct. The session was a great learn and he is responding really well even just after a days work. I would highly recommend them, they really do simplify things for you and put you on a consistent training plan to get the best behaviour from your dog.

After our initial assessment and training session Estelle responded promptly to our feedback and arranged a follow up session.

Our trainer, Kirsty, is clearly very experienced and her explanation of the training method used made perfect sense. The impact on our puppy’s behaviour has been remarkable. Highly recommended.

Star is a St Bernard 63kgs weight very strong and has responded great to his training, the key pointers that Gavin gave me has done wonders, Star used to have an over friendly behaviour towards other members of the family and visitors to our home jumping up at them and pushing them, also when out walking he whould pull on his lead and lung at other dogs and walkers. After putting into practice the leadership tips and passive training with singular voice commands in the correct tone he is a lot calmer and responsive to me and others. Training is still ongoing but I have to say it’s a big thank you to Gavin Chambers and Barkbusters

Tom came to Cannock to help with my Labrador puppy Charlie with is pulling on lead and jumping up people toms knows everything about labs he was with us for about 3 hours Charlie stopped jumping up and listening to him we went for a walk first time not dragged round the street Tom was first class with ideas and instructions me and Charlie still have a long way to go but with toms help we’re getting there would recommend bark busters to anyone great service

Kirsty wàs so pleasent with ùs on arival. We introduced barney to her and straight away barney connected with her. Her training is very good and barney was quick to respond. I was in tears as i never expected barney would react the way he did. Verry happy with kirsty looking forward to our next visit.

We have recently started working with Lee Hardy from Bark Busters Derby with our new puppy Millie, a gorgeous Golden Retriever, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Millie is absolutely adorable, but I have to admit, I felt like I hadn’t got a clue! It’s been 15/16 years since we did any puppy training. From the moment Lee arrived, I felt reassured; he is incredibly calm and patient, and rather than chasing after the dog or constantly telling her what to do, his approach is much more about teaching you how to get your dog to want to follow you. It feels very natural and, for us, it is already making such a difference.

What really impressed me was how Lee watched Millie and listened to us before putting together a unique plan for Millie. He took the time to understand what he was seeing and then built our training around that … and Millie’s wilfulness!

The follow-up has also been just wonderful. The worksheets are brilliant and give you something really clear to work on between sessions, and having 24/7 contact if a problem crops up or you simply need to ask a question is incredibly reassuring, especially with a young puppy. We are still very much in the early stages, but I already have really high hopes for Millie and feel so much more confident about getting things right from the beginning.
For us, Bark Busters and Lee’s approach suit us. Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing how far we can take Millie with your help … and patience.

Tom visited us 26/09/26, to meet our very anxious French bully puppy, Lola who was attacked by her dad when she was only a couple of months old. Tom spent over three hours chatting with us about training methods as well as physically showing us the techniques, and after three days of applying the methods Lola has made massive progress and is already a lot calmer. Tom was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions clearly and concisely, setting out an easily understandable plan including training and diet. Nicola and myself can’t rate the experience, and the peace of mind that he’s only a text message away, highly enough.

We had our second visit from Gavin last week. I had been following his training from the first visit and making good progress, but still struggling with lead walking, pulling etc.

Gavin observed us walking a while, then gave me some more advice on MY behavior! Since that day our walks are much better already!

Nothing is perfect yet, but since the first visit around 8 weeks ago, there has been a huge improvement in my dogs behavior.

I was very impressed with Bens knowledge and immediate grasp of the problems I was experiencing. Providing excellent solutions explaining in an easy to understand way why they were happening. Helping me to understand through my dogs eyes what she needed from me. The session was so thorough both inside and outside the home with instant positive results in Daisys behaviour. We've been using the lesson notes Ben provided to correct unwanted behaviours and already other people are noticing the improvements in her behaviour particularly the attention seeking and barking.

We had our first visit from Abi and she was very helpful. She was patient and we saw change in our dog immediately.

We had our first session with Abi who was brilliant. She helped us a lot understand our Cockapoo puppy's behaviour and set boundaries so we can work on taking the lead, jumping, lead work and his re-activeness when outside. We received loads of notes and working on everything we learn looking forward to addressing the issues so our puppy is more relaxed and happier.

Sydney was amazing! Great advice and didn’t make me feel silly. I look forward to working with her over the next 12 months with my puppy.

Great advice and support from Abi. Never feels rushed and I like the multi-modal aspect, with written sheets, homework, phone support and in-person training visits. Has allowed me to feel more confident training my puppy.
