Poor communication and terrible customer service..I've tried 4x to get pre-authorized for a return before their 7 day return policy window runs out. No replies. I'm just going ahead and shipping it back. If they hit me with a restocking fee because the return wasnt pre-authorized I'll dispute it with my VISA card. I won't buy from them again. Their "quick ship" took me 6 weeks to receive my item. When I contacted them about this I was told it had been delayed. Well,I guess so,but couldn't they have contacted me?

i ordered a skagerak cutter bench and got a shipped notification the same day. 3 days later it was at my doorstep beautifully packed in perfect condition. love!

During a recent kitchen remodel we knew the MUTTO Rime pendant would be a perfect addition to our redesigned space. It’s a beautiful piece with its frosted globe and stylish cord and base.

Before ordering from Batten Home, I was hesitant to order because of a few bad reviews. Shaan, the owner has done a great job of explaining Battens Homes terms of service. I have ordered numerous lighting and home decor items for my clients. The service has been exceptional and as described. Will order again….

I ordered from batten home over 3 weeks ago and my order has not even been processed yet. I have reached out right after placing the order to check on the processing time and was advised that it’d take 2-3 week to ship it. Yet, after 2.5 weeks when checking on the status again, I received no response. The order was placed on 11/17/2022 and today is 12/15/2022 and I have not heard back yet on where the items are. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing, would never order again from them.

I ordered a pouf as an open box item (description was item was new but original packaging was damaged) and I was a little nervous because it was marked as no returns/refunds and was worried what would happen if the pouf wasn’t actually in good condition.

Order shipped so quickly (I ordered late Monday night, shipped Tuesday, and arrived NYC on Thursday morning).

The order was packaged extremely well- so much sturdy protection, and I’ve unboxed an item that’s in perfect condition. Very happy with this order!

Wonderful customer service! There was an issue with a product, and they offered the option of a generous rebate or a free return. Shipping is speedy, and items are packaged nicely. As far as I can tell, this is one of the only domestic distributors of Skagerak, Form & Refine, and other great northern european brands.

One of my go-tos for all of the special pieces in my home. They have excellent customer service and work hard for their customers. I ordered an item that was taking quite some time to ship. I was able to exchange it for a similar item that was ready to ship and was issued a refund for the price difference. Amazing and would highly recommend.

Just cautioning everyone to be aware of their return policy! You have to pay to ship anything back, and I’m my case, the cost to ship the items back was $15 and the Amber water bottles cost $25 total. They were not able to make an arrangement to help mitigate my return shipping costs. Do not recommend buying from them for this reason.

Beautiful item and packaging and good price too. I ended up returning the item I got as it was too big and it got damaged by UPS. They were incredibly responsive and helpful in filing a claim which I really appreciated, very nice to work with.

This was undoubtedly the worst and most costly experience I've ever had as an online customer. During a remodel, I ordered 2 Danish pendant lights - a big splurge at $1500, but with significant light impact in the space. Nowhere had i been warned prominently that, unlike any reputable company like Danish Design, Batten doesn't allow returns on lights. This should have been emphasized prior to purchase! The lights hadn't even been out of the package when it was clear that they wouldn't work out. But no exchange, no refund - even with their 20% restocking fee! if this company goes under during the pandemic, it's a fate very well deserved. Meanwhile, I've learned a hard lesson about checking into a company's potentially unique policies prior to making big online purchases. Others allow returns within 30 days - if lights are in perfect condition - for exchange or 20% restocking fee. [I did NOT wait 28 days, that's not true!!!]

What a fantastic experience ordering from Batten Home. Products arrived in a timely manner, wrapped perfectly. Very impressed with the high quality products. It’s difficult finding beautiful pieces to add to your home but Batten Home makes this very easy. Would highly recommend and will be ordering again.

I ordered glassware from batten home (order 11711) in January, did not receive it for weeks. When I emailed, I was told it was out of stock and would be back in stock April (information that would have been relevant during purchase). I decided to wait more since there was only a few more weeks at that point. When April came, I emailed again and was told that the shipment was late but I would receive my order soon and they would ship it directly from the warehouse so I couple get it faster. I replied asking for a tracking number and received no response. After waiting another month, I sent another email stating that I still had not received my order. They canceled my order without any consolation for the fact that I spent nearly 6 months in my new home using plastic cups while I waited for this order.

Not only that, but since canceling this order I have found the same glassware from a different vendor for a fraction of the price.

I would never recommend this company. I never got my order, but what I do get from them is a barrage of promotional junk-emails advertising products that are probably not in stock.

I purchased a light fixture from Batten Home and received an order confirmation stating I would receive another email once the item had shipped. I waited and waited, receiving no further correspondence from the company. Finally several weeks later I decided to email them to check up on the order. They responded to tell me that the item was out of stock. Would have been nice to receive this information after placing the order rather than waiting around for a month for a package that never came!

I recently ordered a mirror from Batten Home and moved in the midst of my order shipping/processing. Thankfully, I received amazing customer service from Brittney who followed up and made sure the product was submitted to my new address. I am very pleased with their service, and look forward to shopping with Batten Home again.
