5 months of poor communication
I bought a Yamaha DGX660 on the 16th September for a Christmas Present for my 10 year old Son, the Bavas website stated that this would be delivered on the 16th December.
I have emailed them twice on their website without response and called them but they could not tell me when it would arrive.
In Jan 21, I raised a dispute on their website and finally got a response from Nick stating it was the fault of the Yamaha factory, and it may arrive in February.
To rub salt in the very open wound, I got an email today from Bavas, stating I could pay an extra $279 and get the new DGX670 model, sometime in February.
So far, we still have absolutely no idea when our son will get his present, not happy one bit!
The 1 star rating is in regards to the lack of communication and incorrectly advertised delivery date when this item was purchased from your website. The deal is great for the next model, but I want the model I purchased, and I wanted this for Christmas 2020 - you are still unable to advise me when I will actually receive my purchased item, 4 months later.
Yamaha may be the cause of delays, but I am your Customer, not Yamaha's, and your inability to provide me this time by the advertised due date is something you need to work on with Yamaha, or your supply chain.
Heading towards the middle of February now, and it seems that unless I pay a further $250 for the newer model, I am unlikely to receive my sons Christmas present anytime soon.
Latest update.
I cancelled this order today and asked for my money back in my account today.
My payment has been now been refunded, and this matter is closed.

Great Experience!!!
I’ve had the pleasure of buying a full Bose PA system, a Nord Stage 3 keyboard, also a looping station and a gig bag from Bavas Music City and I cannot recommend them enough. All staff members I spoke to were so welcoming, informative and professional. Prices were cheaper than anywhere else I found on the net and the shipping times were so quick, considering I live in the central west. Could not recommend enough!

I have ordered a Yamaha 125 P and when i paid nobody at Bava's music stated that they had issue with Yamaha in getting this product, the result is now I am have to wait 6 more weeks of an already 3 weeks. Bavas should have notify to me about that

Amazing customer service!
We made an order during covid times and because of this, the item we purchased was taking ages to come into stock. Nick personally handled this issue and we were very satisfied with the outcome. We ended up walking away with a better deal and I cannot fault Nicks customer service. He was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this company to others!

I purchased a Casio AP270 at Bava Music for a good price and it said the price comes with adjustable bench, headphones and key guide. When I paid everything and asked for the adjustable bench, it said the website was incorrect. I felt ripped off and deceived by the advertisement on the website. Such a bad experience on my first purchase with Bava Music.

Don’t Trust The Availability
During 2020, I ordered twice through Bava’s Music City. The first time was a single item that they immediately informed me was out of stock (I then waited months for the stock to come in, but did eventually receive it). During the waiting period I then placed a second rather large order of items that were listed on their website as available. When I hadn’t received any shipping information within a week, I phoned them and discovered half the items were out of stock that I had ordered. They agreed to send me the items that were in stock while awaiting arrival of the rest. Unfortunately, the speaker I had ordered ended up being a used one (with many obvious signs of wear) and they told me they had no idea how this happened but agreed on giving me a discount on the cost. However, the bonus protective cover (worth $100) that was advertised on their website, and the reason I ordered it with them in the first place, was not part of the order and while they said they would “try and source one” for me, they stopped referring to it in future emails and I ended up having to purchase one from elsewhere. I am still waiting on my final item to arrive from them a couple months later. While they were somewhat helpful in providing a discount, I ended up still spending that on purchasing the missing cover. Perhaps they would be fine for an in store experience and buying something off the shelves, but I would never trust their online availability and doubt I will be ordering from them again. It’s just been too much of a hassle.

I had to call after weeks of waiting, was told I'd receive a call back because you were waiting for the equipment to come in (which was supposed to be in stock). Did not receive a call back. When I finally contacted you again, you made me pay additional postage and finally sent the item.

Couldn’t find stock anywhere of the Yamaha YDP-164 piano. Bavas had some coming in, they took the order and deposit over the phone, the piano was then delivered as promised by courier at the end of September for a good price.
