This is a Chinese company which is misleading as it states Bennett and Hayes of London in their advertising. The website indicates easy 30 days returns which is misleading. Despite the quality being poor and very different to the photo online I was offered 15% money back and to keep item. The other option was to return the item to china which they warned me would be costly and involve extra custom charges. After further negotiation I eventually got 20% back as didn’t want to risk the cost of sending the item back and then them saying they didn’t receive it!!! This was reimbursed quickly but do not buy from this company!!!

False advertising, cheap products from China. Poor customer service, this is a scam company, avoid at all costs.

I wish I’d read these reviews before purchasing below standard dresses.
How do companies get away with this !

I think this is a type of scam as they send inferior clothing... I purchased a dress which was poor quality and you can't get a refund as they give you the runaround e.g. offering part refund, 15%, then 20% then 30%. And say you have to pay shipping costs to China, but they look like a UK firm (even have London after their name).
I think they are the type of firm that set up a company, sell lots of bad stuff, then close and reopen with a new name...as per Malware Tips website.
Do not purchase ANYTHING!

The merchandise of this 'London' company comes from China and takes a long time to arrive. Two waistcoats were advertised as tweed but transpired to be polyester printed with a tweed pattern.

I emailed for return instructions, supplied photographic evidence and, when they admitted that they were not tweed, offered a 15% discount or full refund on return of goods. I asked for the full return and received the following:
"We understand your disappointment, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

However, we regret to inform you that we do not offer free return shipping, as mentioned in our Return Policy. As the customer, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to our warehouse overseas. We highly recommend sending your return with Track & Trace, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost returns. Please note that the costs for international return shipping can be quite high.

Additionally, there is a significant chance that your parcel may be held by customs and incur additional charges before reaching our warehouse. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for any such charges.

To make it up to you, we would like to offer a 15% refund while allowing you to keep the item — no need to return it.

We just want to ensure you’re happy with your purchase without any extra hassle or costs. If this solution works for you, please let us know, and we will process the refund right away!

If you still prefer to return the goods to our warehouse overseas, please email us, and we will explain the return procedure in detail".

You can make your own mind up about the kind of company this is!

Website suggests it’s a UK brand but it is in fact from China. The returns process is very difficult including a request to take a photo of the item. I now have an address to return the goods (in china) but the costs of return are down to the customer. This is not mentioned on their website. Feel foolish for being duped into buying from them believing them to be Uk based. Want to return all the items purchased as none are suitable.

The quality is really poor. To the point that the garment is not able to be worn. The material is cheap, the workmanship is dire.
Delivery times are long.
Avoid at all costs!

They are quick to take your money when you order, but if you require a refund, they seem to go all quiet on you. Have sent 3 emails now, and still no reply???

This site lulls you into thinking it’s a high end London gentleman’s outfitters when in fact it’s an internet shop window for goods available from Temu. Worst part about it is items are described has being heavily discounted (£180 down to £45 for example) but the identical item us only £11 on Temu. Returns process is deliberately over complex to discourage you from sending items back. Reviews on the site are fake and links will not let you click to read them. Bottom line is do not buy from Bennett & Hayes

Scam..2 weeks for item to arrive obviously from China. Poor quality polyester. Requested return, 10 days of emails and has never sent returns information, address etc for return, and has now 'disappeared' from online searches / presence. Do not purchase from them and beware they may have changed their name now. Google for verified independent reviews or check here before buying from them/similar sites. SCAM
