Alfie at Bensons for Beds in Macclesfield went above and beyond in terms of his customer service and expertise in helping me select a new mattress. Once chosen, I was fully informed of what to expect from that point to the delivery date. Lucca, who had just started working there, was off to a good start by being a very pleasant and polite young man. Also John, who was also very helpful. The mattress is spot-on in terms of quality and comfort. Thank you guys

First time buying a mattress or even going mattress shopping. We went into Dreams next door and the vibe just wasn’t the one. When we entered we were greeted by Alfie who was just the ideal salesman, not pushy at all and knew his stuff. We weren’t even planning on buying that day but we felt like we made the right choice after consulting with him. Give him a raise!

The time is 13:45. I am still waiting in for a delivery that was scheduled for between 9:32 and 11:32. After numerous text messages regarding delivery slots and "keeping us up to date", still no mattress. A phone call at 12:24 promised delivery within the hour. STILL WAITING!

Awful customer service. Got the wrong bed delivered 3 times. Still waiting on more than 6 phone calls to come from customer service

Spent over £1500 on a igel 3500i plush top mattress, we hadn’t had it long and had to have an engineer out to it. So when we sleep we wake up in a huge dip in the middle of the bed. The engineer said that it wasn’t the bed frame and couldn’t see the problem as ‘ the mattress returned to its original state/shape ‘ I explained simply that the mattress would return to its normal state/shape. The engineer acknowledged my issue but as he couldn’t see it he couldn’t help me! Benson for beds were not understanding at all, they said they could not do anything as the engineer found no fault. So I would avoid unless your quite happy to sleep in an expensive bowl

We were supported by Daryl in the Macclesfield store. I say supported because he wasn't hard sell. He brought us a pillow each and pointed out the beds that met our description.
We haven't got the bed delivered yet so I may do another review for that. This is about the face to face support. Daryl knows his stuff, shares the right amount and intuitively knows when to leave you alone to close your eyes and go to sleep!!

Daryl the manager at your Macclesfield store was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We explained how we sleep and the issues we were having with our current mattress. We were exchanging our current mattress under the comfort guarantee so it was essential we chose the right matress this time. Daryl was extremely helpful throughout our time in store and chose to order the iGel 3500i. We tried several mattresses in the store which Daryl explained the differences of all the mattresses that we tried.

If you are thinking of buying a new matress/bed then Daryl is your man!

Daryl was excellent on Macclesfield lime green industrial park . He was so great with my elderly mum too.
