### Very Disappointing Refund Experience with BSBI

I am extremely disappointed with my refund experience with **BSBI University**.

I was informed that the refund process would take approximately **30–45 days**, but unfortunately, this timeframe has passed by a very significant margin.

My refund process started around **5 March 2026**, and as of **26 August 2026**, I still have not received my refund. That is almost **six months of waiting**, despite the stated 30–45 day timeframe.

The biggest issue is not only the delay but also the lack of a clear and satisfactory resolution. When a university communicates a specific refund timeline, students expect that commitment to be respected. A delay of this length can create serious financial stress and inconvenience for students and their families.

I sincerely hope BSBI reviews its refund process and provides students with clear communication and timely payments. Based on my personal experience, **I would strongly recommend prospective students carefully confirm the refund terms and timeline in writing before making any payment.**

So disgusting service. I am writing emails from 2 weeks and haven’t received a proper reply.
And always when i call them
No matter morning or afternoon but before they close
They don’t pick up the call neither reception nor others.
When i got automated email there it was written office timings are till 5:30 i reached 4:30 and it was closed
Why the automated reply is not edited?

If you are INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND APPLYING FOR BSBI DO NOT ENGAGE GIVING THEM A DEPOSIT UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE VISA AND GOING TO SCHOOL. THIS SCHOOL WILL SCAM YOU IT WILL STATE IN CONTRACT REFUND IS 30-45 DAYS. ITS BEEN 90 DAYS I HAVENT GET MY REFUND AFTER FILLUP AND FOLLOW ALL THE PROCESS OF REFUND. CALLING FINANCE DEPT NOBODY WILL ANSWER. I NEED HELP FROM ANYONE GIVE ME DIRECTION. THANK YOU.

My experience at Berlin School of Business and Innovation has been genuinely meaningful, both academically and personally.

I am currently a MSc in International Health Management Student and the programme has helped me connect my medical background with my growing interest in health systems, healthcare leadership, policy, communication and global health. It has given me a clearer understanding of the direction I want my career and future research to take.

One of the things I value most about BSBI is the international environment. Studying alongside people from different countries, cultures and professional backgrounds has expanded my perspective and made classroom discussions much richer. The school has also created opportunities for me to grow beyond academics, build my confidence, strengthen my network and become more involved in student life.

Serving in the Student Council as a Course Representative has been especially important to me. It has allowed me to listen to other students, communicate their concerns and understand the importance of strong student representation. I appreciate being part of a community where students are encouraged to contribute, speak up and take leadership roles.

Like every institution, there are areas that can continue to improve, but my overall experience has been positive. BSBI has become an important part of my personal and professional journey in Berlin, and I am grateful for the knowledge, connections and opportunities I have gained so far.

my experience at BSBI was beyond exceptional. from the application to my graduation day ! I recommend BSBI to everyone who is looking for the best quality of education as well as a good environment were you will feel welcomed.

Was good from the beginning of the registration to the time of studies

They respond quickly by email and that's a positive response but it's is very difficult to reach them via calls.

Timetable is good and flexible

I have had a good experience at BSBI. The staff are very friendly and always try their best to help and answer any questions. The professors are kind, engaging, and make the classes enjoyable.

I also like that BSBI organizes many extracurricular activities. They help students get involved, meet new people, and enjoy university life. The university is also very diverse, which makes it a comfortable place for students with different backgrounds.

One thing I would appreciate is faster responses and quicker processing of student requests. However, I understand that this is not always easy because the staff are working hard and there may be understaffing. Overall, I am happy with my experience at BSBI.

I am writing this to alert all international students about the gross negligence, predatory enrollment practices, and operational failure of the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI).
​My Student ID is Q1138986 (MSc Engineering Management). My refund request was officially initiated months ago, and as of today, it has been over 70 business days since my complete documentation was submitted on April 2, 2026. My refund was officially approved on June 2, 2026, yet the refund team continuously fails to provide a specific transaction date or a SWIFT transfer confirmation copy. They only provide generic, automated replies stating they have added me to a "payment list" due to "high volume," while unlawfully withholding my family's life savings.
​Furthermore, this entire visa refusal was caused directly by the misleading counseling and institutional malpractice of BSBI. They officially enrolled me based on a Duolingo English Test certificate—explicitly stated on my Unconditional Acceptance Letter—falsely assuring me it was sufficient. In reality, the German Embassy in Bangladesh strictly rejects the Duolingo route for student visas. This academic misguidance led directly to my visa rejection and severe financial loss, including blocked account fees.
​BSBI is flagrantly violating German consumer protection laws and its own binding financial policy (which states a 30-45 days processing limit). If BSBI management does not execute my 100% tuition refund and address my €768.50 blocked account compensation immediately, I will escalate this case formally to the Berlin Senate Department (Senatsverwaltung für Wissenschaft, Gesundheit und Pflege) and BaFin.
​Avoid this institution at all costs if you value your money, time, and career!

​Update (July 1 4, 2026):
Thank you for your public response, BSBI. However, simply stating that my payment is added to the "next scheduled payment run" without providing a concrete transfer date or swift confirmation is the exact same delaying tactic your refund department has been using for weeks.
​My refund was approved on June 2, 2026. Your finance department has repeatedly failed to provide a specific date for execution, keeping my family's savings locked unlawfully.
​Please be advised that unless the actual international bank wire transfer receipt is emailed to me within the next 5 business days (by July 20, 2026), I will proceed with filing a formal police complaint (Strafanzeige) in Berlin and cooperate fully with the German regulatory authorities (SenWGP and Verbraucherzentrale Berlin) whom I have already CC'd in my official escalations.
​I demand actions, not generic public relations templates.

​"BSBI refunded €7,454 after delays, but unlawfully deducted €150 and refuses to compensate €768.50 for blocked account losses caused by their invalid Duolingo admission. They are now sending generic stalling emails claiming 'under review'."

I studied for 1 term and wanted to leave due to unexpeceted circumtances. I paid the 3-term tuition fee (6300 Euros) upfront. Although their own contract clearly states that "Payments made for study periods that have not yet begun will be refunded," they are not refunding my remaining 2/3 money. I am so tired of this and I gave up on my thousands of Euros. I just want to cut ties with the school and get my 'Exmatriculation Letter' (deregistration certificate), but they won't even give me that! On top of this, they are unfairly trying to take another 100-200 Euros from me. Their only goal is to exhaust the student and keep the money. Do not waste your future and your money on this institution!

They intentionally made the clauses complicated in agreement. Every clause refers to another. Unless you are an expert, it is impossible to understand the contract. Even though you fully paid before you started your study, they can suddenly ask you to pay extra fee. For instance IT fee. Those all are what I faced. You must be very careful.

This place is not an educational institution; it is just a "visa gate" used to enter Germany. The academic staff is inadequate, and the courses are completely empty. A huge part of a 4-hour class is spent for nothing or watching YouTube videos. Once you arrive, you understand what I mean. Check their accreditation thoroughly before you come. İt is also very complicated. For instance, They are not accredited by FIBAA.

One final note: don't believe a word they say, do your own research
Do not trust the high ratings here. Do your own resarch Even the most famous universities do not have 5 stars perfect reviews; most of them look fake/bot accounts. It looks designed to trick students.

instead of solving problem, they are trying to remove your ratings and negative feedback from any platforms.

BSBI is home away from home. Both staff and students are warm and welcoming. The tutors are very understanding. Makes one settle into Deutschland more easily.

Shereen left me in the hands of Ravi, who has guided me through each and every step of my application.

I submitted every document BSBI requested, they were all accepted, and I received the conditional offer letter_this has been possible due to the support and time these two offered.

Ravi answered all my questions promptly and offered clarity where needed.He has also promised to continue supporting until am fully enrolled into the school.

As an international applicant, having clear and responsive guidence, made the whole process much easier.

I had a very disappointing experience with Berlin School of Business and Innovation.

I was initially told I met all admission requirements and proceeded based on that. However, as the start date approached, the institution changed its position and claimed I did not meet the requirements, despite previously confirming that I had passed the English test.

They also failed to provide the necessary admission documents for my visa, even after multiple requests, and claimed to have sent emails that I never received.

A refund was approved on 12 February 2026, but more than 60 days later, I have still not received the money. Communication since then has been vague or non-existent.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this institution to proceed with caution.
