Air conditioning at this time of year would be beneficial. It is not safe for older people to exercise in the heat. I enjoy attending classes but sometimes have to leave early due to the heat.... Toon meer

A warm welcoming atmosphere
A warm welcoming atmosphere, flowers and even a tree as you walk through the door. The staff Behind the reception desk are usual quick to respond to the bell on the desk. Lot's of different things to try such as tennis, tai chi, zumba to do. Gym is okay and sports hall is nice and cool during the summer heat.

Facilities OK
I have setup an account for my 13 year old daughter to use the Gym. The facilities are great but although paying a joining fee so that my daughter there has been no one on the desk when she went there and has not been able to book a session.

We are sorry to hear that there wasn't a staff member available on your last visit.
You are able to book online via the Better UK App or website if you are unable to book at the centre, however, we have forwarded your details to the centre and asked that they contact you directly to book you in.

App needs more work
Everything is all good while training at the Haydon Wick gym, Apart from 1 thing, The app isn't very good, It isn't tracking my workout progress or telling me anything about my workout sessions, I have spoken to staff at the gym and also emailed Better Support team, Even they have no idea why the app isn't working correctly for me. But 1 person said it maybe due to recent changes to the app and said they would look into the issue for me and they'd get back to me ASAP, Still waiting, but it would be nice to be able to track my progress with my gym sessions on the app.

Save environment to exercise

My experience at this gym has been absolutely terrible. For the money I paid, I endured disrespect, neglect, passive-aggressive behavior, and sarcastic comments. The staff showed no responsibility towards their clients, and on top of that, the gym itself was cold and dirty. Based on my extremely negative experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Haydon Centre
The staff at Haydon Centre, Swindon, have been incredibly helpful. When we first signed up and were trying to sort inductions, Rob went out of his way to help us and make us feel welcome - showing us around and helping to get an induction booked at a time that worked well for us. On our induction, Travis was friendly and helpful and took care to make sure my 11 and 13 year olds (and I) knew how to use the equipment. All other staff have been pleasant and helpful too.
I’m impressed with the range of equipment, the cleanliness of the facility and the flexibility that the opening times provide. Really pleased with our decision to join!!
