Jamie was great and helped me understand what to do when the mortgage prices soared but then I was handed over to an account manager and the communication was very confusing. Only after the mortgage was approved did I get the “next steps” email explaining everything- I had different law services and the valuation and the bank contacting me with no idea what to expect or when, and it was all very urgent. The one time I responded to my account manager she took 2 days to reply by which time i had sorted out the scheduling issue myself. I also opted into the life insurance service and did the questionnaire with them but wasn’t informed the insurance company would take a health record from my GP, which was fine but felt strange to discover on my NHS app given I hadn’t given explicit permission

Our current deal is coming to an end, and we wanted to move to a new deal with minimum fuss. Deepak sorted it all in a short phone call. Very happy with the professional service provided by him and Kate. Would definitely use Better again!

We would definitely recommend better to help with finding a mortgage provider especially if you don’t have the best credit score.
