Excellent service. The gentleman who helped us, Luke Mochan, was so helpful & supportive throughout the whole process. He was efficient every step of the way, however, we never felt pressured. Would recommend the company & hope you have Luke Mochan as your go to person.

I was very impressed by the whole process and in particular by the support offered by Mia the mortgage advisor. She was professional and proactive but also very supportive and as a result the various information and documentation hoops seemed much more straightforward than they could have. I also felt that she was responding to my particular circumstances.

Absolutely awful service. I would never use Better again.

Communication throughout has been extremely poor. Staff were on annual leave and nobody bothered to tell me or explain who was dealing with my case in their absence. I was left chasing for updates instead.

When I called, the attitude was rude and unhelpful. Eventually, I had to circumvent Better and contact Halifax directly just to find out what was actually happening with my own mortgage application.

That should tell you everything.

I am now being asked for additional information that could have been requested and communicated much earlier. Instead, I have had to repeatedly chase, make calls myself and piece together information that Better should have been managing.

The whole point of using a third-party service like Better is to make the mortgage process easier. In my experience, they were a hindrance rather than a help.

Poor communication. Poor ownership. Rude customer service. Unnecessary stress.

I genuinely regret using Better and would strongly advise anyone considering them to look at the alternatives. If you end up having to contact the lender yourself just to find out what is happening, you have to question what you're actually paying Better to do.

Better.co.uk is a great mortgage provider company and advisors are very professional especially Brad potter and Amanda Baker both are very professional advisors always share information with customers in time.

Darren was great, however, it would be better to see quotes online and not only via agent calls

Mica was amazing, completion has been done within 24 hours. Any info needed was requested and logged straight away.
