Initial interaction with mortgage advisor was great but then what was meant to be a simple remortgaging process became a long drawn out mess leaving us out of pocket.
The conveyancers at onedome suggested by better.co.uk were also hopeless, losing documents, assuring us everything was on track then asking us to ‘recomplete’ tasks that hadn’t been previously assigned to us.
Communication poor throughout, emails left ignored for up to 4 days, would not use this service again

Just completed a loan with Better, the person i dealt with was Faran Morley , he was superb throughout the whole process , i was very very nervous of dealing online with my affairs as i was petrified of being scammed. Faran was so patient with me and explained everything to me and went out of his way to reassure me. My loan was not as straight forward as i wanted it to be , but Faran found me a solution that would get me the deal i wanted and would get me to where i need to be in 5 years time. My situation was a complicated and very stressful one including solicitors, and had brought me a lot of sleepless nights, but after talking through my situation in detail, I felt as though I had an ally from day one!
What amazing help! Everything was handled for me. Solicitors contacted, property maintenence company spoken to and the leaseholder contacted!
Took most of my stresses away and got me through what was a longer than usual application due to my circumstances!

Do not use this company they are an absolute disgrace. A collection of companies they don’t answer calls, don’t reply to emails, and can’t even get a simple remortgage application right though quick to take your money. This has taken constant chasing and is still not sorted as no refund issued. Avoid at all costs.

This is the second time I have used Better for remortgaging my buy to let property. On this occasion, I was assisted by Gary Dalby who has always been friendly, helpful, efficient in his communications. His colleague Kojo was also apt at helping with any issues that arose during the process and equally as efficient and polite as was Ellie Walker who kept me updated on the process. I selected a suitable re-mortgage product after comparing all mortgage products/rates for some time on a weekly basis as Better are ‘whole of market brokers’ and this was very important to me. I would definitely recommend Better. They are professional, knowledgeable and get the job done with minimal stress for customers and I will use them again without hesitation.

Everything ran smoothly from choosing the mortgage that met our needs and constant updates regarding our process.
I must admit though it was a little overwhelming with regard to filling in the online forms and questions because I’m 54, not so tech savvy and trying to manage my anxiety.
The process is now in our solicitors hands but we still get support.
