Absolutely fantastic technical knowledge by the tall male sales person. Best advice I have ever received on the fabric and technology of walking boots. Made the whole experience a delight.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable and confident lady assisted us in store today. I didn’t get her name but I do know she’s new - when she told me at the end of our shop - I was totally shocked. She said it was the training but as an ex retail leader I know that training can only do so much! She is an asset!!

Helpful without being pushy. I found exactly the rucksack I wanted and the member of staff was knowledgeable about its features and alternatives.

The assistant went out of his way to be helpful in choosing the correct size of wellington boots and ease of getting them on and off.

Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Although I was there on a busy Saturday, I didn't feel rushed into making a decision to purchase. I was given plenty of time to make up my mind as this was a major purchase for me. That being said, they do have a wide range of products for all budgets which represent good value for money. Happy to recommend this store.

Helpful advice from someone who knows about outdoor camping/ trecking

On a busy Saturday the staff member could not have been more helpful. She really knew the technical stuff around walking boots and was unfazed by the number of people awaiting her help. There was a good selection of boots.

Both employees were extremely helpful in helping us choose what we should buy for our daughter that is doing the DofE Bronze (eventually might also do the silver, next year). One employee went to the point of suggesting us to look in a competitor store/brand as they might have a different colour for a jacket we wanted to buy.
Most (if not all) items were also on offer, making them less expensive than other stores around.

I ordered a hiking shoe online from the Blacks website. The shoe arrived on time and was delivered to me by a trusted delivery company. I was not satisfied with the colour of the shoe and I ended up taking it back to my nearest Blacks store in Bromley. The staff there were friendly and helpful. They helped me in finding right size and the right colour shoe for me.

Very happy with my experience. Phoned the store to confirm they had my item in stock. When I visited the store my item was waiting for me.

Found what I was looking for. Offered additional purchase at discount. Efficiently dealt with.

Excellent customer service. Member of team very helpful to find suitable footwear although other customers asking questions at the same time. The special day offer is a big discount and a low price for such a high quality product.
