Booked two tickets for a movie show thru Bookmyshow app on 15.02.2026, the show was cancelled by theater (Mlal Haripad). Raised the ticket for refund with Book my show and send several emails to book my show and the reply got was that it will be refunded soon. But even after almost two months the refund not received. So my opinion is that these people are fraud.

I had tickets For a T20 cricket match that was cancelled due to rain. Despite 20 emails and chats I still don't have a refund. This company will steal your money

I had done a virtual marathon booking last year. Had a horrible experience. I registered for it with nominal fee, completed it but I never got my online certificate. Organizer cheated and bookmyshow did not interfere though I raised complaint. I had to follow up for almost more than 6 months. Nobody answers calls, if answered then they put on hold for almost an hour. Horrible service. There needs to some really tech savvy company who should compete with bookmyshow so that this company automatically closes. It happened twice. Horrible service.

I made booking for project hail mary on BOOKMYSHOW App but transaction failed , not one but two transactions failed and i haven’t got refund for one of the transaction and to make it worse the chat team has no clue why i haven't received the refund !

Worst customer service and very poor contact number support

Book my show is really bad . We called to customer service for one reason and waited 2 hrs 35 min and when I my turn comes they cut the call. These peoples are useless they don’t care about people money and time . One day these app will go down for sure . I don’t recommend this app to book movies please go to other apps.

Extremely unprofessional experience with Booking ID: WTH5FLK. I booked 7 tickets (₹1600) for the Tamil screening of Durandhar: The Revenge. Without any prior SMS, email, or app notification, the theatre cancelled the Tamil show and replaced it with Hindi.
When I informed them my family doesn't understand Hindi, the staff was incredibly rude and told us to "just leave." Now, BookMyShow and the theatre are falsely claiming that we watched the Hindi screening just to deny a refund! I sent 10+ emails even before the show started to flag this, yet they marked the movie as "Watched" on the app. This is a deliberate scam. Friends who booked via TicketNew got their refunds in 2 days. BMS and Rohini are literally stealing money. I dare them to provide CCTV footage of us entering the hall. Avoid at all costs!

Disastrous !!!Our seats occupied by 3 ladies ...no numbering on seats and one top of it one of the seated lady ( on my seat ) insults me saying why I'm yelling...I had to raise my voice bcos there was no help from bookmy show or jio around and the guy who came where not ready to resolve the issue with the seated ladies .so this show for which I had booked tickets for months in advance just to hear Shreyal Ghosals melodious voice for the first time began with such s negative vibe ....book my show guy gives us three middle seats ( I had chosen 3 side seats for convenience) and we had to compromise...felt claustrophobic so went at sat on a steps besides the washroom .Have vowed not to step on Jio Garden BKC even if I'm invited as aguest in future on the 1st seat for sure .Letters to Didi might have reached Didi but failed to touch us from any aspect .

The show was also heavily delayed without any proper announcement or explanation. We were left waiting for a long time with no updates, which was extremely frustrating and disrespectful to the audience’s time.

Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend attending such events unless the organizers seriously improve their planning and basic arrangements.

They did not give me a status update for my refund, for a match that was cancelled. Their help desk was repeating the same thing over and over again. I got no useful information. And I can't delete my account either.

I really dont know why companies are hiring bookmy show app. Really a crap company ! Yes thats the word!! Half thr time server is down and half the i dont even wanna say a thing. Just deleted it !

Don't Use this not care customer

Booked one activity event tickets. Reached the venue/one restaurant. No one turned up. The restaurant staff denied any event booking. They straightaway said we dont know anything about. Event was scheduled for 3:00PM. Contacted BMS from the place. Posted photos from the premises. BMS didnt share the contact of organizer/host, even when they booked the ticket on their behalf. BMS support executive upon enquiry failed to provide any solution. Then after a wait of 30 mins, we asked them if we should wait more or leave, and they explicitly said to leave the premises and raised a ticket. After 7 days they said organizer said they were there (without any proof, whereas we shared the photos in real time during the scheduled show while still at the premises of the venue) and now denying refund. happened in Kolkata. Total scam. No accountability. I am not sure if there are any organizer who are actually organizing workshops. Feels like BMS found a way out to scam people.

This is the worst website when it comes to refunding, it's been more than three months for the refunding process. I booked two Rs.6000 tickets for gayya's saiko show on November 2025 and the show was postponed and we requested a refund for the show, and up until now we didn't receive the refund, very disappointed about the slow actions taken by this company.

I have booked 25 ticket in book my show for cricket match in Ahmedabad India vs sa Africa. But their is no service centre around 2 km. We have to pick the physical ticket from sabarmati around 3 km distance from ground. 900000 ticket sale on that match through book my show. So boycott book my show on next all matches.

I received excellent service when purchasing my T20 World Cup ticket. The process was very easy to access, and I received my ticket instantly.

Very disappointing experience with BookMyShow during the ICC T20 World Cup ticket sale. I waited for more than an hour even though only 5,108 people were ahead of me, and the stadium capacity is nearly 40,000. The queue barely moved, the system kept freezing, and there were no proper updates.
It honestly felt like tickets were being released elsewhere or not being made available to the public fairly, because the movement in the queue did not match the demand.
I’ve attached screenshots showing how long I was stuck. For such a major event, BookMyShow needs a transparent and reliable system. This whole process was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
