Agreed a redress payment of £946. Was told I would receive the payment within 28 days. shock horror, no redress payment, not reply to emails and no response from “senior management” they don’t have the moral decency to reply to anything. Customer services fob you off! Constant delay tactics, “can’t contact said department or waiting for finance department ect ect blah blah blah. The usual S**t. they are quick enough to take your money but not so quick to pay it back. Looks like I’ll be spending £50 to get my money back through bailiffs and the high court. Absolute cowboys. Fingers crossed channel 5 take up the opportunity to film them for the new series of can’t pay take it away

Please do not borrow from these cowboys all they care about is lending money to stay afloat themselves the amount of complaints they have received. After many reviews and forums and currently experiencing it myself they take until the very last day to give you a redress figure and then no doubt will take the full 28 days to pay it out. Don’t think they know people are hard done by money wise with the covid situation or probably don’t care. STAY AWAY AND GO ELSEWHERE.

I took out a loan 18 months ago and they are a horrible, overly greedy, unhelpful company and I would NEVER use them again, be careful because they add loads of sneaky clauses into the contract to ensure they can charge you high Interest rates, they have started charging me more interest for no reason despite making my payments on time, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! They are unhelpful, harassing if your having any issues (they will email you every second of the day with threats and demands) they harassed my guarantor constantly despite me being in contact with them constantly and the interest rates are HIGH, only direct debit that comes out at midnight they that greedy.. go else where or you will regret it, the staff are not helpful at all.

i have had a really bad time recently and to just have such a pleasant and satisfying call really has made my day. the lovely Jasmin i spoke to (apologies if that is spelt wrong!) was ever so helpful and really did her best and even allowed me to take a work call during our phone call. she was super and deserves much credit! thanks again guys one weight lifted from my shoulders now !

Their staff are professional and helpful. Always willing to help if you're struggling.

If I could give zero stars I would. They lent me money when I was In a really bad place financially. They hounded me day and night when I couldn’t afford to pay. The FCA investigation found that they had lent money irresponsibly. They then were told to return all the interest to me, this is when they really decided to hold on to the money as long as possible . When you want a loan you get money in 24 hours, when they owe you money it takes months . Extremely bad company with low morals who take advantage of people in desperate situations. Stay clear.

Cant thank your team enough for what they have done for me ..!! I requested to speak to one adviser only . That’s for my personal choice and found it easier than explaining every time to different advisors . My advisor Rebecca (Becky) has been an absolute Star , amazing communication , understanding , knowledgable and advised me accordingly to my personal circumstances that changed through the pandemic ..!!! Thank you to everyone in the team, nothing was forceful or pressured unlike some company’s ..!!

5 days ago I applied for a loan, despite their claims of ‘instant decision’ i still had to wait 5 days for a response. All criteria was met so acceptance on the loan should have been easy. However, I received a text today which informed me that my application had been declined due to not meeting the criteria. I called the customer service department to question their decision and inform them of my frustration, i was then informed that the company is not currently lending due to their systems being updated. I waited 5 days to be told the company is not currently lending an absolute joke. I would also like to add that i called every day i was waiting to see if there was an update on my application yet the only response i got was ‘your application is currently with our underwriting team and they will contact you shortly’ well that’s clearly a lie if no loans are being given at this moment in time. Falsely advertised the ‘instant decision’ decided not to inform me that lending isn’t possible at this time and have had me waiting 5 days for nothing. An absolute train wreck of a company. Unsatisfied is an understatement!

Buddy loans have been great friendly and approachable. When things got a bit difficult they were friendly and willing to help. I appreciate how they have helped me and would definitely recommend using them.

I will give them 2 stars only as no really customer service even if on their web site is saying payment in 24 h if everything is done online . 24 h passed , on app it says they are still checking …. No phone calls no emails .

I'm sure this is an alright company to be with, as good as any other bad credit lender. My review is solely based on the pre approved pending checks just to be told i'm not elegible anyway, i'm aware of this thats why I want a guarantor loan at 49% I don't like throwing money away. I had the understanding that this company could help bad credit lenders but they didn't even try to speak to me or the nominated guarantor.

Had a really bumpy road with buddy loans, they’ve helped me but had ups and downs through lockdown, rang today to say my daughter has been in hospital which means my pay had been lower than usual and wouldn’t be able to meet the payment, everything was sorted quickly and efficiently and I thank them for that, I wouldn’t recommend them but I’d thank them, being stuck in a loan with a guarantor isn’t for anyone, but they can help with the situation once you’re stuck in it. Thanks buddy loans.

Friendly and helpful and were able to facilitate my request with minimal fuss. Excellent customer service.

Amazing customer service, Really helped me in a time of need. Didn’t make me feel pressured or anything after losing my job and missed one payment. Completely understanding of my situation and working with me aswell to resolve it. Not like other loan companies who harass you, Buddies are there to help. I would recommend Buddies to anyone as they have the clients best interests. Thank you Buddies for your continued support.

Just paid off my loan last month and everything was fine, took a little longer than expected to finally get the money but that's because they check, check, and check again everything is fine before paying out. but everything was fine in the end money was paid same day and payment plan worked great,

Terrible company from the beginning. They take less money from the direct debit each month and prolong the loan and interest gained. I wouldn’t trust this company as far as I could throw them. Very poor and I can’t wait to get rid of them.

Complaint was raised which took them 8 weeks to the day to ‘resolve’. Nothing was resolved despite them admitting fault. Case now raised to the ombudsman.

I would seriously avoid this company at all costs.

BuddyLoans customer service is absolutely amazing. They are so easily to deal with, and so accommodating of your situation. I would recommend them to anybody. Katie is a credit to the company too.
