Amazing service interest was very good in fact the lowest I could find!! I would highly recommend this company we were in desperate need and with the help of buddy loans and my brother within a couple of days we were back on our feet

I was a little unsure about applying for a loan but I gave buddy loans ago and I must say that I made the best decision where it concerns going to them

They are so helpful and make you feel so comfortable to be able to talk to them especially Rebecca Pegg I just feel so much better in myself before and after she has helped and advised me with my payments

Due to having a low credit score buddy loans where able to help me out with a loan in order to move house. With the help of a dear friend whom stood in as guarantor the process was simple and very straight forward. Customer Service have been amazing the few times I’ve had to make changes in my agreement due to a personal change of circumstances. Over all I would highly recommend these to anyone struggling to gain a fast tracked payment.

I have had issues with my direct debit and Elle helped me with a couple of emails and a short phone call, afterwards it was all set up and running perfectly. Elle was a credit to your company, and a real good example of excellent customer service. Please pass my kind words onto her and her team leader.

whenever I have had any issues with payment being late the staff have always been really friendly and supportive to help get things back on track.
I recently had help from one of the staff Katie and she has very friendly and helpful to come up with an arrangement that is suitable during recent hard times cannot thank her enough as it has been very stressful. Do not have a bad word to say about this company.

Buddy Loans has now removed my review twice.

It was confirmed I could afford the repayments and they just need to call the guarantor to finalise. I was told I would get a call within 5 minutes; however this call never happened.

Later on I just get a text to say everything has now been declined with no explanation. I spoke to my guarantor who showed she never received a call.

I called back and spoke to another agent who told me there isn’t a complaints department and could not give a name of a manager and could not remember the managing directors name. I was told to go and Google it.

This is the truth, so please stop removing my honest review.

Please!! Please!! Please! don’t make the mistake of taking loan with this company unless you want your life ruined by people who will force you take loan out without carrying out proper checks, also change figures on your outgoing themselves without your knowledge to meet their criteria to meet the threshold for a loan. This process is the same for the guarantor no proper affordability checks carried out. Loan is given out quick however you nightmare will start when you miss a payment and then you will be treated just like number , rude bullying staff members who will take the money out of your guarantors bank account with very little notice and not forgetting the huge interest they charge. Buddy Loans without any doubt target the most venerable people , proper sharks.
I ended up taking them to financial ombudsman and won my case, it took me nearly two years because they refused to acknowledge their mistakes even though it was presented to them in black and white. Once again please don’t use Buddy Loans, they are definitely not buddies but you are their bait....,

Excellent. All aspects of my application went very smooth and the sales team was friendly as possible

False advertising. My guarantor has owned her own home for over 40 years with no mortgage. Owns outright.
Made the application 5 days ago. Had to ring every day. When registered online, it said 'in progress'.
A text arrived today, 5 days after applying saying 'no'. Reason? None. Every day the lady said "No problem. Just finalising the loan".
The loan was for medical bills as my I had to go private ever since Covid. NHS are understandbly overwhelmed.
I have reported them the Financial Authority who are investigating immediately.
These people damage your credit rating and refuse to give an explanation.
I have started the process of suing for misleading advertising.
Please be wary.

100% Recommend Buddy Loans

I recently applied for a loan but did not complete application. This was due to the fact I am very deaf and have a speech impediment I cannot communicate by telephone. I have fed this issue back to the company and am awaiting a response.
