Website is really easy to navigate and allows you to select a camper both geographically and visually so you can find the perfect vehicle to match your needs.
Once you have made a selection of vehicle and hire period, you receive a quote and the option to contact the camper owner directly to establish costs of insurance and deposit.
It all works really well and allows you to be in control of your plans and expenses!

First time I've browsed this website (Camperbug) and I like it very much. Seems to have a lot of sites to choose from. I'll be using it a lot to plan trips this coming summer.

The owner cancelled our booking but Camperbug returned out deposit promptly. In the process of booking another van, disappointed with the initial cancellation but the customer service has been very good.

I had made a mistake on the insurance by putting wrong name.

Communication was good, reasonably quick responses. Overall renting was hassle free. I would have liked a few more vans and to be have been given a wider range of options, the price was rather high but as expected for bank holiday.

I don't always write reviews but we had such a fun hliday, I feel I should. We hired a van from Camperbug, it was easy to drive and economical. Travelled across to France and spent a glorious week camping in beautiful campsites, eating delicious food and drinking cold wine (from our own fridge!) Excellent memories, we would definitely do this again.

We are thinking of buying a campervan and wanted to rent one first to see if it was for us, and we are very pleased with the service we have received. We had to move the dates to an alternative weeknd and this was no probs and the owner returned our deposit swiftly after the trip had finished. There was a slight confsion over insurance but this was ironed out quickly too. Am hoping to buy a camper soon but would happily use Camperbug again

We booked a campervan through Camperbug and when the owner of the van cancelled a day before the booking date, we lost our deposit and the owner even deducted some money for what he referred to as service charge for a service he did not render.
Camperbug has no contact details, therefore no one to complain to. This is a fraud and scam. You are advised to stay away from this website and a particular campervan owner, William Owen. (Katamarano – 0624)

Had an absolutely superb time and I can't wait to repeat again. I think I am sold on Van Life! Found things to be straightforward, messaged three owners in March and was able to get all my questions answered. We needed a van with a longer bed and so the owner we chose Bill, uploaded more images and also sent the dimensions. The site asked that we clarified all the insurance details before and we did, and then paid a deposit, sent the owner the ID docs and then it was a wet but fun week away haha. Definitely doing this again, thanks Camperbug

Worst company, stay away!! Booked a campervan through Camperbug and when the owner of the van cancelled the booking I lost my deposit. This website is just the middle man, they take your deposits then you are on your own with the owner of the camper van. If they cancel it or it’s not as advertised then you lose your money and there is nothing you can do about it. Another doggy site with no contact information who just take your money then do not care what happens to you. Be warned.

Great support by email if needed. Very open to feedback. The site has been easy to use. I particularly like the pay as you go insurance as the price to ensure the van for the entire year for any driver is prohibitively expensive. This allows you to ensure only when the van is hired out.

There are two things to bear in mind on this review page: 1) Reviews should refer to the service that Camperbug uses as a facilitator (not the individual vans hired, as this is the responsibility of the owners) 2) All the terms and condition of hire are easy to access so hirres are aware of issues such as cancellation etc

This is my first time hiring a campervan and we cant wait to collect our van from Jonathan. He has been so helpful all the way throug.

A nice little VW van. Serviceable and good condition. New pans would be good.

great company to work with to rent out your vav

Used images from my caravan park without consent, advertised with my business name with totally incorrect information. Never once been in contact with us. By the sounds I’m not the first site owner this has happened too!

Absolute fake company.
Make bookings and they charge you.
If issues then with the booking of no fault of your own.
No way to contact as they use the non refundable clause.
Sent emails .
even the person who has had czmpervzn stolen and had to explain her position said horrible to contact. If you are a honest company contact details would be availzble on your website..
