Further Update on My Review of CIS Canada Immigration Services
Following my previous review, CIS Canada Immigration Services requested further information from me, which I duly provided. However, to date, nobody has contacted me or provided any meaningful update.
What happened next was particularly concerning.
I contacted the company again using a different email address and phone number, presenting myself as a new prospective client seeking assistance. I received two emails, one of which contained a link requesting payment. I replied, explaining that I wanted to speak to someone before making any payment.
A lady named Alina subsequently called me. During the conversation, I mentioned that I had previously been in contact with Gemma and asked whether she could pass my number on to her. Within 24 hours, Gemma called me and began making assurances about how the company could help me obtain a visa and secure work immediately. However, when I disclosed my identity and explained that I was the same person who had previously contacted them, she was visibly taken aback and appeared unable to respond.
This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in CIS Canada Immigration Services and raised significant concerns about its business practices. I find it troubling that a new prospective client could receive prompt attention and assurances, while an existing client who had already provided requested information remained without a response.
I am now compiling all relevant documents, correspondence, emails and other evidence for a lawyer to review. My intention is to pursue the matter formally, beginning with a complaint to the appropriate Canadian immigration regulatory authority, and to explore any further legal remedies available to me.
I am sharing this update to document my personal experience and to encourage anyone considering using this company to exercise caution, carry out independent checks and ensure that they fully understand the services being offered before making any payment.
I believe clients deserve transparency, accountability and professional communication, particularly when they are entrusting a company with their hard-earned money and their hopes of relocating to Canada.
This company claim to be based in Toronto, they’re not - they’re somewhere in Bulgaria just found out.

It is gratifying to learn that the well earned reputation Canada has accrued for it's hospitality and general bon homie is very much real. Wonderful customer communication, dedicated to making the process of migration as painless as possible, with weekly check ups and an understanding that the processes can be difficult and tricky. To that end, particular praise needs to be given to the staff, who work odd hours that are convenient for you (especially with timezones). As such, I would be remiss in not giving ample credit to my case worker in particular, one Mike Davis, who provided ample time and care to my case to make sure I understood the complexities involved in migration. Wonderful service, highly recommended.
