Good selection and fair pricing
Good selection and fair pricing. Appreciated that delivery outside Toronto is included and that includes haul away and installation. I ordered online.
For me, installation included reversing the door on a fridge. Understood that was part of installation, I wasn't asked about it when I booked delivery, so it wasn't on the delivery work order. I was very grateful the delivery team made the switch as I couldn't have done it myself. Hopefully it didn't throw their schedule off too much.

Dryer ended up flooding my laundry room and CAS could care less
dryer was delivered and they refused to install it due to some company policy - ran the dryer after and it flooded my laundry room. Called them to ask for help and they referred me to local service techs that they partner with - felt like it's some racketeering scheme where CAS is hands off once they collect their money and make product issues the customer's problem. I was more upset about their utter apathy about the issues I was experiencing with their BRAND NEW APPLIANCE, more than the flooding that ensued. I ended up having to pay $150 for a technician to come in and properly install the hose.
I would never ever purchase another appliance from CAS after the way they treated a customer (repeat customer at that) who just spent $1400 for a dryer. There are enough appliance retailers out there who would treat customers with a lot more post-sale care and CAS is definitely not one.

I would give a 5 star because I am very happy overall but gave a 4 star for the following reason. When ordering LG washtower with heat pump dryer I was told by the salesperson that I had to purchase the steam attachment for the washer because if I didn't the delivery service may not install the set for me. I advised I did not need it but he insisted and said that I could send back with delivery people for full refund. However, invoice said accessories are not refundable so I am stuck with this. I found the salesperson tactic was misleading and forced me to purchase something I don't need or want.

Very good experience.
Salesperson was very helpful in pointing out the appropriate models that would fit our needs without bells and whistles that we wouldn't use. Pricing was quite competitive with others. Installers were very professional and careful in their delivery (through a narrow set of spaces and stairs) and installation. Very smooth, on time, and tidy. Wold recommend to our family and friends.

Had a good selection of reasonably priced refrigerators. The one I bought was an LG and was on sale at a great price that they had in stock. We bought it on a Saturday and had it delivered Monday morning with no hassle. Great store and met every promise made.

Dishwasher return
Not having bought any appliances for over 13 years and being over 80 years old, I ordered a dishwasher from Canadian Appliance Source to replace the old one of the same brand. When the new one came, their installer opened the wrapping to measure it and it did not fit under the counter. This was when I found out that dishwashers come in different heights. I should have done some research before buying it. Company policy was to charge for opened returns. The charge for delivery and return of the dishwasher with opened wrapping was $705.83.
This was devastating for us. We were told by the sales representative to email our Customer Service team to express our dissatisfaction and request a refund for the installation and removal charges. After 4 emails outlining our problems, Asmaa & Treshna responded with questions to better understand our situation. They stepped up and issued us a full refund in-spite of company policy.
We are so grateful for their help. Their act of kindness has helped us deal with our emotional and financial stress.
In future, I will do research before making purchases of new appliances. I will also try to find that sales rep that knows the products and also assumes that I don’t. That sales rep would ask questions that I did not expect, because they are the experts and I am not.

An experience of trust
My sweetheart and I bought a set of washer and dryer online at CAS. It was my first experience buying expensive accessories without actually seeing them but the CAS salesperson made the whole experience a pleasant one. The delivery took place the next day and again it went on without a hitch. I wish however that I had received after the sale more information about the extended warranty that we bought as part of the initial purchase.

I did a little research and then called CAS to order the LG front loading washing machine. I called at 7:30 on a Sunday evening (they close at 8) and the washing machine was installed by 8:30 the following morning. Can’t ask for better timing than that. It’s our second purchase from them with the first being a Samsung microwave to replace a much older one with a broken handle (new one has handle built in) CAS is our go to for any appliances we need replaced.

Watch out. Yes the prices are competitive but once you purchase everyone disappears. It took me 3 weeks to finally get my washer delivered and the company offered me $65 in compensation. I was lied to by staff members telling me only the original salesperson could change an order, that there were no supervisors in the company and that my delivery charge had been returned to me when delivery was free. It’s a dishonest company who has no clue about service.
