Wrong product description and wouldn't accept return
Product description was wrong and item did not fit but company refused to accept a return even though it was still sealed in its packaging. Incorrectly claimed that products have to be returned within 14 days despite the law giving longer than this if it's due to a fault (such as an inaccurate description). Tried to blame me for buying the wrong product. Do not buy from this company.
Excellent service
Got great advice from Shane on the right kit for wiring my new head unit into my car. When the wiring harness arrived faulty, they replaced it promptly with a working one with no questions asked!

After several emails I had an apology on first reply asking if I wanted to keep it or send it back? although being a completely different item!! Since then no reply won't use this company again and certainly wouldn't recommend them to my enemie let alone anyone else
Fraudsters, liars and useless
There is a reason why this seller is rated so bad. DO NOT join the club of being scammed. They are as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Couldn’t care less about the customer. They just want your money. I am adamant they are selling seconds advertised as new. I will be getting trading standards involved as you deserve to be closed down. You play with fire and you will get burnt.
No delivery
I ordered a head unit with adaptors to my Subaru from Car Audio Direct. I received a tracking number, but the parcel was never handed over to DPD.
Despite this, I was already charged customs and VAT (approx. 250£).
I have contacted Car Audio Direct by email several times but received no reply. I've tried to call them, but no answer. At this point, it looks like they are happy to take payment but do not deliver the goods.
I am now forced to proceed with a chargeback/PayPal claim to recover my money.
Strongly advise avoiding this company.
Sort it out CAD
Ordered speakers specifically for my car on the specific recommendation of the salesperson (not a fitter, doesn't really know the products) for the simplicity, which cost over £40 more than buying the individual components as I had original enquired. The tweeters did not fit at all, was told the manufacturer website warned of this. However the CAD website says the exact opposite and I only used their website for reference. Response was sort it yourself basically, which involves me taking the old one apart, which means breaking them ,and gluing the new ones in without knowing if they would actually fit. Not what I paid the extra money for. Bit rude, quite unhelpful and now I have some Tweeters going spare. £40 and they're yours!

Waited over two weeks because it wasn't in stock and they had to get it from pioneer.
Very rarely replied to emails and telephone wasn't much better.
I gave up and cancelled the order.

Make sure whatever you buy fits no free returns
Good shop just be 100% sure that what ever you get will fit your car there is no free return and depending on the price and weight of the item it's counterproductive to pay for the return so I'm on Facebook market place reselling a 12 inch sub xD just make sure whatever you get is compatible with your car I have a sub and speakers they both don't fit 😅😭

Very disappointed indeed ordered item in May took payment and as out of stock was delivered September. Unable to refund only by PayPal. Item finally came without fitting instructions and fixings so useles...never again!!!

Returned the product
Returned the product, as it physically did not fit the vehicle (no hassle, as these things happen). But, when the seller received the returned goods, they tried to accuse me I did not know how to fit the product, said I had damaged items, and therefore had deducted money from the return amount. This soon turned out to be unfair and false. I thank PayPal for their support in this matter, and for getting me all my money back.

For many years now ive been using CAD for nit only car audio but as a price comparison an RF they do try and be rhe best priced but that's not thiis review is about its the customer service ,i ordered a item which we as out if stock WWE hich I we as notified about and had to wait for Monday dispatch i spoke to uag who apologised about the order i asked if it was possible for a Saturday slot but due to a supplier issue it had to be monday so me thinking i wasnt seeing my order till Thursday but Monday comes and i have a email saying apologies for the problem etc your order will be with you Tuesday now i didn't pay for the quick delivery but as a good gesture they done this for me and this is my whole point of the review its all about good Customer Services ,thank you

Needed to update the stereo in my T5, gave these guys a shout and advised on what I needed, sent me links added to the basket and arrived 24hrs later! Decent price on the Pioneer da360. Got stuck on making the steering buttons work but they helped me. When fitting a new stereo or bits make sure you RTFM!! :-)

Had such a bad experience with this company ordered upgrade parts for my van which they told me were the correct ones when they arrived they didn’t fit was sending emails with photos all day and on the phone They still believe these parts are for my van the pictures clearly prove they are wrong never use again 😡
Great company and excellent customer service
I have purchased a good number of items from Car Audio Direct over many years always remaining a satisfied customer.
Pricing is competitive and the range of goods offered is wide ranging. Of high importance is the great customer service offered when customers want to fit items themselves. Despite fitting a lot of head units and amps in the past successfully, I recently wanted to fit a power amp to a 2016 fiesta.
The USELESS !! unit Ford fit as standard has no RCA cable outlets to enable this !! Additionally these original equipment units produce poor bass at volume due to bass roll off, thus avoiding damage to Fords budget original speakers. Nor is it possible to fit a standard head unit as i have done in the past.
Contacting customer support I was advised to buy an LC2i unit that overcomes the RCA cable problem and restores the correct amount of bass. I needed some advice how to fit it and was contacted by customer support very quickly, giving relevant information that someone who is not an auto electrician could understand. In conclusion, I am pleased to highly recommend this company and will continue to buy from them in the future.
