Carinspect Reviews

5 star service yet again. Have used these guys for the 3rd time now for an interstate euro car purchase. Their mechanic rang me as soon as he emailed me the report asking if I had any questions. It’s just amazing the care factor they have at every step of the process.

Booking was super simple. They contacted the seller and scheduled the inspection within an hour. I had the report by the afternoon. Very impressive experience.

I couldn’t rate this business more highly. Awesome team to deal with, the inspection was done within 24 hours and the report was far better and more detailed than I expected. I’ll be using them again without hesitation

I used CarInspect for a pre-purchase inspection on an interstate BMW i8. Report reference number: 39886690.

I arranged the inspection because the vehicle was located in Perth and I am based in Melbourne, so I relied on the report before deciding to proceed.

After the vehicle arrived, several items appeared to differ from the report. The air conditioning was marked as operational, however it was not blowing cold air. The 12V battery was marked as passed, however BMW later advised it failed their test. I had also asked about the butterfly-style doors, and when the vehicle arrived, they did not stay up properly.

The vehicle was later inspected by BMW and a number of repairs were identified. I contacted CarInspect through their website, email, and phone to raise my concerns, but I did not receive a response.

Based on my experience, I was disappointed with the inspection and the lack of aftercare.

I used the car inspect service to inspect a vehicle interstate as it was a long distance away, I got a report back that the car was great with a few minor scuffs cosmeticly which I thought was fine, so bought the car after receiving the report. Flew down drove the car home and noticed the brakes were not great, went to get the roadworthy done and not only did the brakes fail the roadworthy but there was $4000 worth of repairs needed to pass a roadworthy. I raised the issue with them and nothing has come from it. I’ve now paid more than half of what I paid for the car on getting it to RWC. This service is horrible I will never use this service again, nor will I never recommend this service to anyone. They have been trying to palm off and ignore the issue

I live in Melbourne and saw 2 cars online in Adelaide.

I have used this service twice.

The condition report indicated the 1st car was in very good condition.

But the tires were 50 percent worn.

I flew up to Adelaide checked the vehicle and purchased it.

I insured the vehicle and drove it back to Melbourne with no issues.

I brought 4 new Michelin tyres and the vehicle passed the road worthy check with flying colours.

It passed the vic rds interstate inspection and was transfered into my name.

The 2nd car was from a private seller with low klms body and interior looked fine in pics.

So i organised a pre purchase inspection.

After the pre purchase inspection I was contacted by the mechanic and updated on the condition of the vehicle.

It was deemed to be in poor to fair condition.

The condition report identified all the components interia body engine transmission electrical operation and performance.

And they were marked worn or needed replacing.

I was very grateful for investing in a pre purchased check.

As this service saved me time money and buyer regret.

I will be using this service in the future to pre inspect all my vehicles.
