From my very first contact to my collecting my car, the services I got was exceptional. I travelled far for my repairs. It was well worth it. Very happy with the work done on my car. The moment I got to the garage, with the many other convertibles around, I knew I was in good hands. I was right.

They dealt with my Merc SL55 roof problem quickly (within a couple of days) even though they were busy and kept us informed throughout. The price quoted was what we paid - excellent and friendly service - thank you!

We made a booking with your very pleasant reception staff for an issue with the roof on our BMW F83, the roof was stuck open and warning lights were going crazy. Diagnosis was carried out and a repair plan offered which was completed in a day including a roof service and a water ingress inspection.

Amazing service with very very knowledgeable staff, everybody I dealt with was courteous and professional. The roof is now perfect and next years service will be carried out by Cayman.

As promised the fault was diagnosed within the hour and parts ordered, delivered and installed the same day.

In addition, we had a full roof service and all seals, rubbers etc lubricated whilst waiting for the parts t to ensure the roofs longevity.

My sister in law had an issue with her 2009 Ford Focus convertible, the roof wouldn't finish its closing cycle and this ment the boot wouldn't open, a garage diagnosed the roof ecu but they where wrong. I had used Cayman a long game ago for my wifes car, so they where the only ones I would take a car too. The car was booked in on a Friday afternoon and I had a call from them a couple of hours later telling me the issues with a cost to repair, the repair was carried out the following day and I picked the car up before they shut at 12pm. I would highly recommend Cayman as the place to go for convertible hood repairs.

Our poor Saab convertible! The roof mechanism not functioning, window operation not responding correctly and the roof fabric sad and stained. Caymans have done a fabulous job: roof mecanism and window repaired and the fabric and seals sparkling and waterproofed. The staff were not only agreable but helped in every way, including calling a taxi for me to get to Redhill station. I cannot recommend Caymans highly enough.

All of the people at Cayman and I conversed with about 6 people were helpful, attentive and prompt with information. The work which could not be done by an Infinity service centre, was done in a day. This included diagnosis of the problem, (a worn wiring loom in the mechanical roof assembly), making of a new loom, fitting testing and a service of the roof mechanism and resetting the error codes. I will be back in Redhill in 2026 for an annual roof service.

I am incredibly impressed with this company. From the first time I called Cayman Auto Services they were first class in every interaction I had. Very respectful, polite, clear and they do exactly what they say they will and on time. No surprises. Technical experts in their field without a shadow of a doubt. Fast, efficient, very reasonable in price and they even put little things right that they spot out of courtesy. A top class auto company. My roof was fixed while I waited and staff looked after us very well whilst waiting. A vanguard in the automotive industry. Others could learn a lot from this team. Thank you very much.

Replaced a corded hydraulic pump on a bmw 1 series.
Really good experience on what could have been difficult and expensive problem.
From a 0900 book in had the car back before 1pm.
Was also offered a cheaper option for the boot to work without the folding roof be functional( necessary for mot)

Had taken to specialist and main dealer, either wanted triple the money
Or would have been long and drawn out.

I've been going to Cayman Auto Services in Redhill, with my VW EOS for the maintainance on the convertable roof for years now and recently took it there again for it's annual check up, rubbers cleaned and convertable roof serviced etc, to maintain them and get them ready for the winter ahead. Yet again I was not disappointed with the quality of both the work carried out and the fantastic friendly service that I have always received from the staff. They are honest with anything that they might find while carrying out the service and the quality of the work is second to none. It's roughly an 80 mile round trip for me from Rochester, but it's totally worth it. I recommend them 100% everytime.

The whole approach was professional. Ready when I arrived, diagnosis and detailed estimate done quickly. a constructive attitude to only doing the essential elements of the job with my choice whether to go further. The car was ready for collection, and valeted. The roof has never been so clean. And all the while, talking to Maddie and Leah. A pleasure.

If neither convertible roof repairers or in Birmingham why lie and claim both?
