Second time to Cayman. First to fix a delaminating hood a few years ago. This time for new top lock motor.
Cannot recommend them highly enough. Do one thing and do it better than anyone else and you've got happy customers.

Excellent all round with Expertise, Price, Communications & Customer Service. Cost me fraction of the price of what my local Volvo service centre had quoted and had abundantly more experience with diagnosing faults.
I had to travel a considerable distance from Essex, but I was dealt with quickly and transparently with the fault diagnosed and rectified in a matter of hours.
A nice walk into town kept me occupied whilst they got to work, and I would have happily travelled much further for this level of service and cost saving. The cherry on the cake was the friendly atmosphere and nature of everyone making all customers feel valued and important.
If you own a convertible this must be your go to. They really do know their stuff and put the so-called dealership experts to shame.

Excellent service, roof works better than ever!

Went for a diagnostics which took 6 hours, said they knew what the issues were discussed the options with me said they’d give me a follow up email with pricing and parts etc, ended up never getting back to me and ended up going else where to have the work done

Contacting Cayman was my third attempt to find someone who could diagnose the fault with the roof on my 1995 Audi 80 2.6 Cabriolet. They pride themselves in a 100% diagnosis success rate and I can understand why. It took some time, which was not an issue, but it was clear that they would not be beaten! Some replacement parts and part wiring loom installation later I have my car back and it is again a joy to drive with the hood down in this weather. I cant thank Paul and the team enough for their time and professionalism. They really are the EXPERTS in this automotive field and I urge anybody if they have a problem with their folding hood/roof to give Cayman Auto Services a call in the first instance. You will not regret it.

Cayman Auto's have just cured a long annoying problem with the roof on my BMW 3 series convertible. I write to thank Paul and the staff for their tenacious work in sorting out the problem. The Cayman professionals have ensured I keep dry at all times and made me grateful, relieved and very happy.

My SLK roof was repaired very quickly after my local Mercedes specialist struggled with it. All the work was done in a day, for less money than I had imagined. First class communication, knowledge,and service. It’s a 500 mile round trip for me, but definitely worth it.

Took my Z4 to Cayman at the weekend. Was expecting a large bill. Had a call back from them after having had my car for a couple of hours or so. No faults found other than engine needs to be running to operate the roof suggesting possible issue with the battery. They serviced the roof mechanisms etc and this was all included in the price of the diagnostics. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and honest service and staff. Excellent. Would highly recommend.

I had my trusty 2003 Smart Passion Coupe roof cleaned and reproofed by Cayman Auto Services and when I picked it up yesterday I genuinely thought they had replaced it with a new one. They have done an AMAZING job at, in my opinion, an unbeatable price.

We own a Mercedes E class 2018, And we had a problem with the convertible roof of the car. I got recommended to Caymen auto services who fixed the roof , i would just like to say the company were very professional and they were aware of the problem and fixed the issue with this particular model, fantastic service and a lot cheaper than Mercedes. Incidentally if you need to get to them from across London to pick up your car, it's only half an hour on the Thameslink. Very handy.

Honest, friendly and very professional would highly recommend

I asked for a quote to replace the motor which raises and lowers the hood.

The girl said that it would be sensible to confirm the diagnosis. This would cost £95.
She said I wouldn’t get charged if it was the hood motor and I went ahead with the work but if the diagnosis showed that it wasn’t the hood, I would get charged even if I went ahead and got the work done.
This doesn’t make any sense to me.

Highly recommend brilliant service

Had issues with my roof on my Audi A3 and after being quoted thousands of pounds by other garages and Audi, I found Cayman on a Google search and after booking it in for a Diagnostic (which was cheaper than others) they found the fault and quoted me a very cheap price and the total repair was completed within 2hrs plus as I had a repair done I was able to take advantage of the roof service for half price which I am so happy I did as the roof now looks and works like car came off the assembly line, plus the staff’s customer service professionalism was excellent..
My whole experience with this company has been a 10/10 and I absolutely recommend them.
