I cannot be thankful enough for my driving lessons! I’ve had so many laughs and thoroughly enjoyed learning with Will M. He’s been so patient, encouraging and supportive throughout every lesson, and has made learning to drive and driving as a whole such an enjoyable experience. I’ve gained so much confidence behind the wheel and genuinely looked forward to every lesson. I couldn’t recommend Will M enough — thank you for everything!!!

Chilled were excellent for organising the intensive course and were bang on with how many hours I needed to feel comfortable passing the test. Graham (sadly now retired) was great for the intensive section and Martin helped massively in building that final bit of pre-test confidence. Many thanks to both of them and the office staff for making passing the test a breeze and living up to their company name!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Will M. From the beginning he’s been incredibly patient and always took the time to make sure I completely understood something.

From day one I’ve always felt comfortable and whenever something didn’t go right, you could genuinely tell he wanted the best for you and he was determined to help. I struggled with the clutch at the beginning and debated switching to automatic but I’m so glad I continued with it and one day it just clicked!

I will miss my lessons because as well as learning to drive, it was just 1h and half each week chatting and always having a laugh along the way!

When I did pass, I honestly think he was more excited than I was! It was lovely to see how genuinely proud he was of me. Not just him but also his wife was so lovely saying good luck before the test and congratulations when I passed. I was extremely nervous when I first started and thanks to Will I’m now excited to drive. Past me would never of thought she’d be driving and pass the test with only 1 minor, I still can’t really believe it!

I couldn’t recommend Will enough and if anyone asks about chilled driving I will definitely tell them to try and get Will M! Thank you so much again Will for a really enjoyable driving experience. ☺️

My instructor Danny was very patient when teaching me to drive. I did two blocks but went to test in my own car and passed with 2 minors. :) thanks for all your help Danny.

Liam is an excellent instructor, he’s helped me get a lot of confidence on the road and helped me pass my test first try. Cannot recommend any instructor other than Liam.

My daughter had a very positive learning experience with Sam. He is very chilled and friendly and made her feel really comfortable. She was particularly anxious about the whole process and being autistic needed a particular approach. He was very accommodating to her needs and flexible too.

Amazing experience definitely gave me a lot of confidence and motivation and i ended up passing first time would definitely recommend Sam as a driving instructor overall my lessons and test were all smooth sailing and an enjoyable experience

I had a really great experience with Chilled Driving School, and I couldn’t recommend them enough. My instructor, Steve Brooks, was brilliant from start to finish. He was patient, friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly, which made me feel much more confident behind the wheel.

Steve made every lesson comfortable and enjoyable, and he always took the time to make sure I understood what I was doing before moving on. His encouragement and guidance really helped me improve my driving.

My instructor Danny was amazing! He helped so much, if you're a bit nervous or anxious about driving in particular then I really strongly recommend him. Passed first time, and really enjoyed my lessons.

My instructor, Danny, was very nice and taught me how to drive within much less lessons than expected. Never felt uncomfortable or stressed during lessons when driving. Very good experience, I recommend highly. Thank you so much Danny and Chilled Team.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Chilled’s Automatic Driving School enough, and especially my instructor, Paul!

I was quite an anxious learner, and Paul was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, calm and reassuring, and worked with my anxiety rather than ever making me feel pressured or uncomfortable. He helped build my confidence lesson by lesson and made sure I felt genuinely prepared for my test — and thanks to his teaching and support, I passed first time!

I also have a very rigid and difficult work schedule, and Chilled were fantastic at working around it. They went out of their way to make sure I could get the lessons I needed and was properly prepared in time for my test, which I really appreciated.

If you’re an anxious learner, have a complicated schedule, or simply want an instructor who is patient, supportive and genuinely invested in getting you through your test safely and confidently, I would 100% recommend Paul and Chilled.

I can't thank everyone enough, such a fantastic team. My son started at young drivers and did a few experiences, all of which were fantastic and gave him the confidence and skills early on. He's now just completed a 35hr intensive course with Paul A, and passed first time. A huge thanks to everyone who helped along the way. We managed to find a last minute test, the team were so supportive and organised arranging his instructor to be available and even squeezed him in for a last minute lesson the day before. Highly recommended. Couple of years to go and my daughter will be learning with chilled too. Thanks again.

Simon and shaun was really good at teaching me how to drive and not just the driving but with the theory aswell. It aslo didnt take long to pass it was just the wait in the test.

Passed my test with 5 minors, thank you so much to Liam he let me join with only a few month away from my driving test. The lessons I’ve had was always chill and he was understanding and helped me improve in key areas that needed improvement just before my test. I would totally recommend Liam for anyone in the Suffolk area.

If I could give 6 STARS I would!
Gary is the nicest guy and a great driving instructor, he made my lessons enjoyable and created a calm environment, with clear instructions and explained things really well, it didn’t take me long to gain my confidence whilst driving.
Once I passed my theory test and was ready, I booked my driving test, but annoyingly it was 3 months away. However, I managed to get a cancelation at really short notice, which was only a few days away. Gary changed all his plans in order for me to take the test in his car, and came with me to the test centre, which was a great support, because its really nerve racking!! I really appreciated this, as he went over and above what was expected and supported me through the whole process.
I passed first time with no minors …… result!!

Great service. Staff are friendly and helpful with any questions, lessons are easy to book, and the instructors I drove with were clearly very experienced and make you feel safe behind the wheel. Highly recommend Will M as an instructor.

I passed with chilled! - 0 minors! So happy with my experience at chilled! So patient, so caring towards you, you are more than a number to them! Chilled’s instructors create a friendly relationship with you and it puts you at such ease! My own experience, Alan, James, Simon, Will & Dan were spectacular and I can thank them enough! Definitely recommend!
