Chilled helped me pass my test, thanks to Graham, Martyn and Simon for my lessons, thank you ever so much.

Where do I even start? During my time with Chilled Driving Tuition, I had lessons with Shaun C, James F, and Will M, and it was an incredibly positive experience.

From start to finish, booking lessons was easy, whether it was done over the phone or by email. The vehicles were always in tip-top condition both mechanically and in terms of cleanliness. Instructors gave me their full attention, whether it was for a quick session like a mock test (~1 hour) or the marathon intensive sessions (5 hours each). Make sure to ask about the packages available to get the best value for money. If you’re looking for driving instruction, you can do no better than with this company.

I couldn’t write this review without the *ultimate* shout-out to Will M, who I spent many hours with as part of my journey to pass. This man is the epitome of class, integrity, empathy, and compassion. Not only is he himself a very skilled and experienced driver, but he also has a passion for teaching others, and it shows in every patient explanation, every kind instruction and imparted piece of wisdom, and every word of encouragement. He gives you the skills and knowledge to be a safe and confident driver, while also giving you the right mindset to be well-prepared to tackle any challenge that arises. You are a great blessing, Will, and I will truly miss the time that I got to spend with you on the road.

Other highlights: I thoroughly enjoyed James's memorable characters (iykyk) and his calm instruction, as well as Shaun's composure and his razor-sharp observations (deadly, in a good way, for an assessment or mock test)

Special mention to the office staff (Thomas, Sarah, Rachel) who were also very friendly, helpful, and just lovely people. Your work is also appreciated!

I can close off my journey with Chilled with a PASS, grateful to every person at the company that I dealt with, from the office to instructors. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for an experience that will stick with me forever.

I had my lessons with Liam in Felixstowe, I always went into my lessons looking forward to them and always had fun whilst learning on my lessons. Liam is a very lovely instructor who always made lessons fun and relaxed as well as educational which helped me to pass my test first time today. Couldn’t recommend enough!

i had a wonderful time with chilled and passed first try after ~40 hours! all the lessons were well structured and my instructor (james) was very friendly and helpful, and always helped me understand my mistakes and what to improve on (even on the drive back after passing my test!). i recommend chilled, and James specifically. Thanks to Steve M and his great instruction, understanding and all round helpfulness which resulted in my 17yr old son passing his test first time today!!
When it came to booking lessons it was a breeze and any alterations needed they were never a hassle.

Amazing driving school, just passed my manual driving test and have had a great experience throughout my lessons, helped a ton to build up confidence and skill.

I booked my son (Bayley) the recommended 50 hours driving course - weekly lessons followed by the week intensive course.

I can honestly say Will M was absolutely brilliant. My son thoroughly enjoyed every lesson with him. Thanks to Will his confidence increased week on week, along with his skills and because of this he passed first time!

I learning to drive after I finished my Master's degree due to being in walking distance of everything, at the time felt I didn't need to learn to drive. However, after graduating I learned quickly how much easier it would be being able to drive. It meant I could go anywhere in the UK for a job and a car was gonna get me there. After I passed my theory, I went on a 30 hour driving intensive course with Paul. I had already had some driving experience through driving with my granddad as passenger. However, before the course I had not yet learned how to park and was not confident in various areas of driving. After 30 hours with Paul I improved significantly and attempted a mock test with Shaun. Unfortunately, my nerves got the best of me and I failed the mock. Shaun recommended completed another 15 hours of lessons. I was able to book one lesson a week until my test. Thankfully, my first lesson was with Shaun because I could redeem myself and prove that I am a better driver than my mock showed. I also had James for a couple of lessons before having Paul again for my last lesson, the night before my test.
I PASSED with zero minors first time. I was absolutely thrilled. Paul, Shaun and James are amazing instructors. They are easy to get on with and you end up enjoying the experience. Doing an intensive course was excellent for getting comfortable with the car, roads and maneuvers. The mock test included in the course was extremely helpful because I learned that I get nervous in exam conditions, even in a car. It also highlighted an mistakes that you may make under stress and where you driving skill level is before doing the actual practical test.
Having extra lessons with different instructors polished any errors I made in the mock and anything I was unsure of.
Shaun is very good at acting as a driving examiner, which gave an idea on what to expect in the test but in the lessons he is very nice and he helped with quite a few things and even said that it was simply just my nerves that were the problem.
James was absolutely hilarious, which I believe got me out of my nerves because he made the lessons fun. I also struggled to park before having lessons with him but with James it became easy.
It was great to start and finish the exercise and test with Paul. I was allowed to have him with me in the test, which felt very reassuring.

In conclusion, I would recommend to anyone Chilled Driving Tuition. The admin team are very helpful. The driving instructors are amazing at what they do. They are great with people, and they are great instructors. The money is worth it and spending the money for extra lessons paid off because it meant I could pass first time with zero minors.

I had never driven before starting my lessons and was quite nervous.. but, I just passed my automatic driving test first time with no minors!

It's all thanks to Steve M who was so patient with me on my intensive lessons. I am known to overthink and worry a lot and he knew all the right things to say to handle any of my wobbles. He is also super friendly and a good laugh which helps to calm any nerves. He really will teach you to be a good driver as he promises!

Chilled were also very accommodating when I had to move my lessons a couple of times due to various reasons and Steve was flexible with times that had to be changed.

I'd highly recommend this company & especially Steve for learning to drive :-)

Martyn is an amazing instructor. He is consistent, relaxed and reassuring.
I would recommend him if you’re feeling nervous like I was.
Martyn built up my confidence, I went to test feeling confident and passed with no minors.

Chilled are a great driving school to learn with. My instructor Shaun P was excellent. He was patient, supportive, calm and a great teacher. It is so easy to book lessons and the price is reasonable. I have really enjoyed my lessons and passed my test because of the excellent approach from Shaun and chilled. They have helped me to become a safe and confident driving who really enjoys driving.

My daughter has just attended her 8th Young Drivers Experience, once again with Jack. She has really enjoyed each Young Drivers Experience lesson with him. Each time he has managed to calm her nerves and end the experience with a big smile on her face. We have already booked for her next and final event before turning 17. Lesson with Jack are already booked for the new year, after her birthday. Thank you Jack for being so awesome.

My son had a very nervous start to his young drivers experience, but that was soon put to the side by Jack, completely professional but with total care and consideration to help build his confidence. The massive beaming smile at the end of the experience totally said it all! 100% recommend for any budding drivers aged 14-17 to start the build up to lessons. Thank you Jack, we will be seeing you again very soon!

My son had a first time chilled young drivers experience with Steve M today and he absolutely loved every minute of it he was extremely professional from start to finish thank you Steve M for making him feel so comfortable he cannot wait to come back and see you and do it all over again soon

Had lessons with Dan, levels above the independent driving instructor that i had before him. Very laid back but also clearly knows what hes doing and does it well, he bought me to pass my test first try today so he must be alright. Very patient and never made me feel stressed out when i made a mistake or struggled to learn something. He just doesn't mess about, he wants you to pass your test just as much as you do. Most importantly i feel confident in my abilities to now go out on my own in my own car.

Passed first time with 1 minor thanks to Jack and the team at Chilled Driving. Lessons were always booked in advance and no problem to reschedule even at short notice. Jack was a very calming and attentive tutor who really helped me get to grips with some of the more challenging aspects of driving. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to learn to drive!

Had a great experience learning with Will M, passed first time so can’t recommend enough!! Always made me feel reassured and helped me grow confidence on the road!

I would like to say thank you to chilled driving and James as he got my son passed after 35hrs driving
We start our journey with James at the Chilled driving 1hr course at RAF Coltishall , where my son James was accessed and we booked an intense driving course , would really recommend as gets your child used to a car off road
Then when James turned 17 he was took out with James , he really enjoyed driving the 5hrs each day , and the confidence James gave him with his teaching
Will certainly be using again when my daughter gets old enough
