Terrible phone service and not willing to take responsibility for their rubbish service and product. I have had more issues with my 24 plate got from brand new. I know after this Citroen van I will never buy or recommend this brand to anyone.
Offering warranty but no way of a reasonable repair lead time
We have a 24 plate Citroen Dispatch that we use for our deliveries. The van started to make a noize so we took it into our regular repair centre who diagnosed that the flywheel was seizing. We phoned up the citroen dealership to get the van repaired to make use of the warranty. They couldn't get the van in for another 7 Weeks to get it diagnosed let alone to get it repaired! What is the use of offering a warranty but no way of repairing a fault within a reasonable time. We now are getting the van repaired with our regular local garage and paying for it ourselves because the cost of renting a van for 2 months is more than the repair itself.

So great cars but rubbish supporting services. Having purchases Citroens, DSs and Peugeots over the last 30 years ( with no problems) this experience will mean I will now look elsewhere.
Vehicle under warranty less than 2…
Vehicle under warranty less than 2 years old with a major gear selection fault.
Told it is “likely clutch wear” without proper diagnosis and asked to pay over £1000 just to investigate by removing the engine, with further costs on top.
Charged £162 for inspection despite being a warranty issue.
Have been passed between the dealership and Citroën Customer Care with no one taking responsibility and no clear answer on warranty coverage.
Extremely disappointing experience and has seriously affected confidence in both the dealership and brand.

I bought a brand new e-berlingo last year and it's been a nightmare. Best I can get is 40 miles on a full charge.
They admit it's faulty but don't know how to fix it, it's been in garage for 7 weeks with no end in sight.
Garage is great but customer care is awful and borderline rude.
Customer Support services, what a complete Joke
Don't see why they claim to offer customer support when it's obvious that they don't.
Each support request gets you an email "We have carefully reviewed your request and are currently working to provide you with a clear and appropriate response as quickly as possible. ", and that's your lot.
I keep getting prompted to update my screen software, when I download and prepare the upgrade (about 40 minutes), as soon as I try to apply it I get "software not compatible with hardware" As you HAVE to provide your VIN that uniquely identifies your car, what is the point of supplying software that does match the car. RIDICULOUS I've reported this FOUR times with no response.
I notice they don't even have the courage to respond to customer complaint on this platform either, speaks volumes!!

Really not surprised to see so many bad reviews. If you are considering getting a Citreon (or likely any other car from the Stelantis Group) then I wish you the best of luck. This is our first experience with Citreon and will absolutely be our last. Our C5 Aircross is less than 1 year old and had an engine warning light fault appear out of the blue telling us to get it checked immediately. Our local (Glasgow) Citreon dealership could not look at it for 4 MONTHS!! We therefore had to travel a considerable distance to get another dealership to look at it. For them to just look at the issue was £162! Ultimately the problem was described as 'oil deterioration' which according to Citreon is a servicing issue (even though it's not close to being due its first service) and therefore not covered under warranty. So we have paid almost £400 to repair this 'servicing issue' - On top of all this, the car has been subject to a recall notice due to faulty stop/start functionality. Again, our local Citreon dealership could not do this work for months (likely contributing to the 'oil deterioration' with constant engine idling). When raising with Citreon UK they could not be more unhelpful. The dealership said it was up to Citreon and Citreon have said it's up to the dealership. Citreon also have no complaint process and advised me to contact the ombudsman which I intend to do. I suspect the remainder of my lease will continue to be problematic and expensive.
I will never buy a Citroen again
I will never buy a Citroen again. I have a Citroen Berlingo Van which has broken down. It is still under warranty and when I tried to get it booked in to be looked at I was told the minimum time it could be booked in was six weeks away. This van is my livelihood. I cannot work without it. Citroen were not interested in the slightest. Wrote to the CEO and someone from HR. No response from either. Do not buy a Citroen. Customer Setvice a waste of time. Warranty not worth the paper it’s written on.

Bought a used Citroen Relay that had outstanding recalls. I live on an island in Scotland, my closest dealer is more than 4hrs away. Was told to keep my receipts for refund of expenses. After calling a number of times, was told they don't compensate those costs.

C4 early degradation of wet belt. Should do 6yrs or 68k but mine is 4 And a half yrs done 48 k They said NO can’t help as some invoices did not have part numbers on . What difference does a number make as long as the correct oil is used ,Do NOT go near a used C4 pure tech Useless car ..£750 bill with no help..

Absolutely unacceptable customer service skills and false information given no refund for what asked me to do and pay for. My car was recalled for takata bag recall last year August my car was due to be fixed in December in which the battery went flat key for would not stop it as all electrics stopped working I had rac come out to disconnect battery to stop it and was advised by a citreon customer service advisor to get car to garage and sorted before the date of airbag fitting I paid 240 pound and now they refusing my money back. Also I had obtained for all calls to be recorded just spoke to case lady who did not listen to me and tell me I can not have refund as car over 5 year old. She hung up and its absolutely not acceptable do not buy a citreon car as they very rude not helpful and its taken 3 months for a call back. DO NOT BOTHER THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING
I have never known worse service
I have never known worse service. Citroen will sell you a car that is 3 years old but not tell you it is on the brink of collapse. We were sold a time bomb and the car we have had for 6 months is now undriveable. Citroen are doing everything they can to avoid paying for repairs when they have extended warranty to cover the exact issue with our car- because it is a known issue- We have a young family and are pregnant but Citroen have left us without a car for weeks on end, no courtesy car offered and would be happy to see us waiting for a bus to get to the Maternity Ward.

Paid for Citroën connected services in…
Paid for Citroën connected services in full and they simply do not work. For around three months, the app has reported that my vehicle is not under network coverage when the car is switched off, meaning remote features such as climate control cannot be used. The car is used every day so it is not sitting unused.
I have been contacting customer support throughout this time, providing logs and all requested information, yet the responses are always the same. I am repeatedly told they are waiting for the technical team and that there is no update and no timeframe for a fix.
For a paid service, this level of support is extremely disappointing. Months later, I still have no resolution and no refund. It feels like I am being fobbed off while a feature I paid for remains unusable.
This has to be the worst car company
This has to be the worst car company. They failed to notify me of a serious recall. Subsequently, the car broke down in a dangerous situation. It was over seven hours before I was rescued. That episode left me seriously out of pocket and despite requests, there was no reimbursement. They have an app, supposedly to help manage the running of the car. This is not fit for purpose. There are so many flaws in it, I could not list them all here.

Citroen recall. Absolutely appalling customer service. No car from July 2nd until September. No support, no compensation. How is this company allowed to get away with this. Everyone affected should have been compensated. I will never buy another Citroen again!
Arnold Clark told me a needed a new…
Arnold Clark told me a needed a new engine for £5500, just a week after passing its MOT and taking £1400 off me for a service.
Citroen refused to help at the start. Then after many many phone calls and emails they agreed to pay half. I had to transport my car from Scotland to Carlisle England at my own cost because Arnold Clark refused to fix it because I had lodged a complaint and no other non Arnold Clark Citroen garages in Scotland. No new engine needed. Just spark plugs and wet belt. Spark plugs were overdue before I even bought it. Arnold Clark told me in writing it wasn’t the wet belt !
Despite the awful treatment by Arnold Clark, Citroen could not have cared less and literally did nothing to help me. Even though the Citroen aircross is known for wet belt issues, oil problems etc. there was even a recall. I now drive a Toyota and it’s a great feeling to drive a reliable well made car. I would rather peel off my own skin than drive a Citroen again in my life time. Horrible car. Literally the worst car I’ve ever driven and I owned a fiat multipla at one point in my life !! Avoid Citroen and Arnold Clark and you will thank me one day !!

If I could give you zero stars I would. I reported a 2nd payment being taken from my account on the 3rd of February. I even sent you bank statements to prove this was the case - yet I am still waiting for an update and I am still waiting for a refund. This just isn't good enough. You were quick to take my money but awful to pay back to me what is mine. Terrible service for such a big company!!!!
