I found the workers faultless in view of the difficult weather conditions and surprised they were able to complete their task, well recommended, Len Miles.

I pay for a comprehensive insurance policy that also covers 24 Emergency Cover. I was left without ANY running water in my property (and therefore no heating) for 12 days, throughout Christmas and the New Year period. People came and went, saying it would take two men, a whole day and specialist equipment to fix. No offer was made to give me a temporary water supply. In the end I had to leave home and stay with family in London. When someone came on the 5th January it took just 40 minutes to put a temporary fix on the problem - and the specialist equipment required was a spade!! I am a 76 year old widow and I don't think I should have been left without any water for twelve days.

Fast and efficient service. All contractors were very good at thier jobs,Dean the scaffolder went above and beyond fixing work that other scaffolders had left.

7 months and still not sorted, the whole process has been painful and their communication is dreadful.
If you have a choice do not use them!

Absolutely appalling experience. Communication throughout the process was abysmal. After our claim was verified by surveyors, civil engineers, and even CCG themselves, it was inexplicably rejected within 24 hours. When we requested the report explaining the rejection, we found it had omitted significant information that supported our claim. Worse, the report was riddled with errors, which is shocking given the importance of the situation. This level of inaccuracy and disregard for thoroughness is deeply upsetting. We would not recommend CCG to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Took too long, not happy with way we were spoken to by servicemen, poor communication, last thing they said it was complete but we were not happy with the outcome.

The workmen turned up when promised and did a good job. There was an issue with a toilet in the house after work had been carried out, but that was dealt with very quickly.

Really great job, new section of drainage pipe was required as it was causing toilet blockage. A lot of digging was involved but the guy managed to do it all in a day including reinstating the big hole. Very pleased with their services.

I originally submitted a claim on travel insurance in June. After some initial contact back and forth to verify details, the company just stopped responding. After repeated attempts to contact the company, I submitted a complaint in September. This resulted in a response that my claim wouldn't be approved with clear reasons as to why. However, given the prolonged period it took to reach this decision and lack of response to my repeated queries, the company offered me compensation in October which I accepted. No compensation has been paid and again after repeated attempts to query this delay, I am yet again getting zero response. This has now gone on for 6 months

Excellent service provided by this company on behalf of my insurers. Authorised my claim very quickly and assigned a contractor quickly too. Great service.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever had dealings with. They bought Roger Rich & Co. We have been waiting for a claim to be settled since March 2024, after damage to our holiday home. The claims handler, a Ms Sally Stonehouse seems to prefer to sit on her hands. Receipts were requested and provided. The service is extremely poor and they seem just to ignore requests for status updates. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Hire claims handlers who actually know what they are doing. Such awful service and in breach of ICOBS 8.1
Will be highlighting this firm to the ombudsman.
