My car was damaged by the company I work for. The insurance company likes to play phone tag when you can't receive calls on your phone. Gave them an inside line to contact me but refused to use it. L... Toon meer

CNA INSURANCE PREVENTS VALID CLAIM FILING! BEWARE!
As both a Professional Malpractice Insurance claimant versus Attorneys Morgan and Morgan for botching the handling of my accident case, and as a retired professor of law and insurance, I can state unequivocally that their insurer CNA INSURANCE IS AMONG THE WORST INSURERS IN NORTH AMERICA, ABUSING THE TRUST OF CLAIMANTS AND CLIENTS ALIKE! This sleazy insurer lawyered-up solely in order to try to prevent my filing of my totally-valid claim #LLA 09158 & since then has totally refused to even tell me the status of that claim, while refusing to act on it, an utter breach of both law and ethics! SHAME ON CNA! BEWARE!
ADDENDUM TO REVIEW -- CNA INSURANCE ALSO FIRST MISSED THE DEADLINE SET BY GEORGIA`S INSURANCE AUTHORITIES FOR RESOLVING MY COMPLAINT, AND THEN CNA MADE UP A SET OF MISREPRESENTATIONS, FALSIFICATIONS, AND EVEN TOTAL LIES TO PREVENT MY FILING MY TOTALLY-VALID CLAIM. CNA IS INDEED SHAMEFUL!
My experience with a car insurance…
My experience with a car insurance claim (in which my car was totaled by someone represented by CNA) has been that they will ignore evidence and simply insist on paying you way less than your losses. Their 'compensation' offer seems arbitrary and uncorrelated with evidence and receipts that I provide. In fact they explicitly state that they are not obligated to reimburse you for costs incurred from the accident, and trivialize serious mental health effects you state...this is dangerous, unacceptable, unethical and is frankly bad practice. If they ever get hit by CNA insured, make sure you're prepared to take them to court.
No Response to request for information
I contacted CNA Long Term Care Insurance several time by telephone in May and june followed up with a letter to the Long Term Care Administrator about the possibility of adjusting my premium inflation rider. The only response I've received from a phone call is that my request in in progress.
I work for a facility and I absolutely…
I work for a facility and I absolutely despise having to deal with this company. They make it next to impossible for their customers to get their benefits. I have sent paperwork more than 5 time for a resident and they still claim they haven't received it. I have dealt with them in the past and it is always awful.
If I could give CNA negative stars…
If I could give CNA negative stars, I would. I used them for business insurance. There communication is poor at best when you do get ahold of them, they string you along for months… 13 to be exact… outright lies claim happened December 18,2021… still waiting for a check! “ checks in the mail” for months! Very unprofessional, unreliable. Avoid CNA at all cost!! STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO MAKE ME WHOLE!
Avoid at all costs
Practical denial of service through non-response and roadblocks set up by CNA Long-term Care Claims.
am writing to share my experiences with CNA Long Term Health Care Insurance
am writing to share my experiences with CNA long term care insurance. I am a geriatric care manager, a social worker by training. I have been working with seniors for 30 years. I have worked with many long-term care insurance policies and understand their language and restrictions. I am aware of the changes in the industry in the 1990's that created language in policies to allow for alternative ways to deliver care. In the 1990's we as a country began to realize we could serve seniors in their own homes with increased home care services and in lower regulated facilities such as residential care facilities and assisted living facilities. I have often had to advocate for my clients that have policies that preclude this language/knowledge. However, I have never had the difficulties I have had with CNA.
It is my hope that by writing about our experience, I may shed some light on CNA's practices. My calls began with them in January 2022 to clarify whether my client had satisfied an elimination period with a previous claim or did each new claim require a new elimination period. My client is 107 and has paid for her policy for over 50 years. Rita, a representative from the company, told me that my client's previous claim had satisfied a one-time elimination period. In satisfying the elimination period, my client did not need to have the 5 skilled service visits to begin a claim. I spoke to my client's son, and we agreed to start a claim. I started the claim online in early February 2022. In mid-March my client received documentation saying CNA needed authorization to speak to the private duty home care agency that was providing care to my client. We returned that authorization. At the end of April, my client was sent a denial letter. The claim had been denied due to not having a primary service provided. I then spent several weeks trying to contact the internal care manager (Jessica) they assigned to my client's claim. I called the company and Jamalia, a representative of CNA, told me to appeal the denial in an email and to continue to send daily visit notes of the private duty care that was being provided. I was also told to send the note about not needing prior skilled care to start the claim since the elimination period had been satisfied in the previous claim. I did this and it was confirmed that CNA received this email and was processing this.
By the end of May, after no communications from CNA, I called again. Alexis, another representative of the company, told me on this call that in order for a claim to be considered, a skilled service must be provided at least once a week. When I stated I was told differently at the start of the claim process, I was told that my client must satisfy the 5 visits by a skilled provider that constitutes an elimination period as well as have ongoing weekly skilled visits in order to continue the claim status. I stated that my client had recently fallen and was receiving weekly wound care from a nurse and the agent from CNA stated that would qualify as a skilled visit. In June I called again as we still had no communication from CNA regarding the claim. On this call, Jamie from CNA stated that the visit notes sent by the private duty agency did not reflect the skilled visits and that was why the claim was being denied. Jamie suggested I send the visit notes that were in between when we started the claim and when we began skilled wound/nursing visits also. After doing that and still not hearing from the company, I contacted them again. It was late July 2022. Kenneth, the representative, suggested I contact the internal care manager again for guidance as to whether I should start a new claim based on the date of wound care or if I should continue to appeal the initial February claim.
The first week of August, I began a new claim based on the advice of the internal care manager. After a week, I called again. I was told that the company reached out to the internal care manager to discuss the new claim and since she did not respond in the time frame they have for a claim, they closed the new claim. I asked to speak to an intake coordinator and was going to create yet another claim. In speaking to this intake coordinator, Lydia, she advised to not start a claim as there was no skilled visit order from my client's primary care doctor. The previous wound care had been provided by the nurse at the private duty agency and my client had not needed to see her primary doctor for the skin tear. The intake coordinator stated that since there was no order, the claim would not be approved. This was never conveyed prior in the conversations regarding skilled services.
After consulting with my client's son, we decided to not pursue another claim. They are a mean, greedy company with no interest in the client's welfare.
Unprofessional
Unprofessional. Poor communication. Lack of follow up.

I had CNA.com Insurance for my business. I keep paying for my expensive premiums and, when I get late, CNA.com Insurance place me on auto debit. CNA.com Insurance policy cover almost everything from kidnapping to accidents to property damage. I was hit by an SUV when I was delivering and everything in their policy turn opposite. CNA.comInsurance keep denying coverage and I have to sue to get what is right. It's a scam. I'm a senior citizen, I have to file bankruptcy, lost my home, lost my business and disabled.
