High loan interest rate despite exceptional credit score

It's easy to apply and get loans online.
Negative
1. It took several calls and a few weeks to resolve an issue with an old account information interfering with my access to the College Ave website.
2. My first parent loan of $3000 had interest rate of 3.99%. I paid off this loan before applying for a second loan in the amount of $15000. With my exceptional credit score of 830-840 I expected to get the loan at least at the same rate (if not lower). But the rate increased to 4.99% (while the FED rate during that time had remained unchanged).

College Ave was so easy to use. I was kept updated and advised how the process was going. It was easy to pick the terms and help my child get funded for her summer semester.

Easy Application and Approval Process
The application process was simple and approval was quick. Communication during the process was good and I feel like I know how to handle things so far. No payments have been issued yet but I hope the rest of the process is just as smooth!

the part for a loan was easy - amount approved for and if the college received the funds was allot of chasing - when I chated your webite I was told to call the college and got bounced back and fourth and Im still not sure
