Easy process with timely results.

The communication is constant, which allows us to know what is going on with application process.

College Ave made a stressful situation a whole lot easier. I applied during a time-sensitive window, and they processed and approved my application remarkably fast, no drawn-out back and forth, no waiting around wondering where things stood. That speed was a tremendous help when I needed funding to come through on a deadline. The application itself was straightforward and easy to navigate, and the whole experience felt efficient and transparent from start to finish. Highly recommend if you need a lender that actually moves quickly when it counts.

I am having a hard time understanding the 12% interest that was applied to our loan this year.

Year 1, 6%. That is acceptable.

Year 2, daughter made mistake and applied for $40k not $20k and assigned 12%. I called for support to address before $’s were allocated and was told to just not use it all. We only allocated $20k and rate remains 12%. I was told we have to wait until graduation to adjust/re-settle.

This year didn’t see the rate until well into the application, another 12% on $20k.

I would like explanation, 12% on student loan is crazy.

Had an approved loan; University of Iowa took awhile to certify, got an email stating the loan was no longer approved. Could not speak to anyone and there is no reason it would have been dropped. Disgusted. Will ensure all avoid.

I thought the people on the phone were very helpful but I think the interest rate this year compared to last year is crazy even though normal interest rates are close to the same as this time last year

It was an easy process

Unbelievably easy, simple, and quick. I did have a couple questions and use the chat function on the website. They responded to me almost immediately with thorough, clear and concise answers. We got my daughter, her loan in no time at all. I’ve never actually had alone go this quickly and easily before.

College Ave is so easy to use. The application process is easy to navigate and they walk you through the process the entire way. The approval of the loan came quick and they communicate with the University directly to get the funding to them. The website is easy to navigate and keep track of the loans. I highly recommend it to anyone needing loans for school.

Liked the user-friendly interface. Would have preferred some information about how co-signing reduces interest rates. Sufficient provision of loan amount, but loan terms seem otherwise unsustainable despite co-signing with decent credit.

P.S. Med school’s expensive. Being obliged to rely on such high-interest loans following the federal funding cut is nothing to be satisfied with.

This is not a recommendation so much as it is an unfortunate necessity.
