I was looking through www for a specific "obsolete" component, and stumbled over components-store.com which offered me the part for a fair price with shipping included ..
After this "Ben Yeung" came back with the only "pre-pay" bank or wire transfer option which made me suspicious ..
and searched the website on trustpilot ... Be aware don't buy anything here.. "he" is still active ...

I was just scammed, I'm sorry I didn't read the reviews earlier. They quickly sent me a quote and wire transfer information and then never replied to me again after that. I feel so foolish.

This is not a real company. These are scammers who demand payment in advance and disappear.

It's a fraud!

I was so sure I would never fall for this trick, well sadly I did. It can happen to anyone, so please be careful. I was in desperate need for one obsolete component, and they were the only shop worldwide still offering it (this alone should have made me cautious). Minimum order volume is 300 USD, advance payment/wire transfer only. They also reply to mails on the weekend, and this should have made me even more aware. Well it didn't... cost me 400 EUR altogether. :(

Ben is still active using the components world web site. Glad I checked if a scam or real. he was sending me proforma invoice any time soon. He has not been stopped. still actively scamming by the sound of the previous replies.

Please note components-house.com is the same company.

I wish that I had done a simple search of this E-commerce address... "Components-Store.com" before I wired them $361.40 in U.S. Dollars. Now they won't respond to my E-mail's. The man's name is Ben Yeung and at first he apologized for being late with delivery, now he just won't respond to my E-mails. Mr. Yeung is a fraud. He does not do any any honest business. This site must be taken down to prevent continued fraud.

Hemos realizado un pago contra una factura proforma que nos enviaron desde Components-Store.com. El pago lo efectuamos vía transferencia bancara el 21/04/2024 y ese mismo día les enviamos el justificante de pago. Supuestamente, los materiales deberían haber salido al cabo de una semana. Sin embargo, nunca los recibimos. Después de más de un mes llamando por teléfono no ha habido forma de contactar ya que la línea siempre está fuera de servicio. Si miráis las opiniones de afectados de otras naciones encontraréis que todos han sido engañados siguiendo la misma pauta.

It seems I am not the only one falling for this company's SCAM. I work with many suppliers overseas and have been importing industrial parts for 20 years and this is the first time I get scammed by a suppier. My experience fits exactly as many of the other reviews for this company. Seemed very legit with quotes and background info on the parts that I needed. Said didnt accept CC, but only wire transfer. Once we paid, communication stopped completely. BEWARE. DO NOT ENGAGE. DO NOT BUY. SCAM!!!

They accepted an order and the money $300 but never delivered. They completley stopped communication. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!

AND I REPORT THE HONGKONG, CHINA POLICE IMMEDIATELY WITH OTHER VICTIMS CASES AS INFORMATION BELOW.

Achtung Betrüger! "Ben Yeung" ist so frech eine erste kleine Bestellung abzulehnen und auf eine Mindestbestellmenge zu pochen wodurch wir über 500€ verloren haben. Es gibt unter anderem Namen zig Ableger dieser Seite.

I would like to share my unfortunate experience and caution others about a scam site. Initially, they provided an attractive price quote and appeared to be professional. However, once the payment was made, all communication ceased. Phone calls and faxes were ineffective in reaching them. It's disheartening to say that this experience has eroded my trust in online transactions, especially with companies based in Hong Kong. I urge everyone to be vigilant and exercise caution when dealing with unfamiliar vendors. Let us all stay guarded against such scams.

Scammer who would quote you attractive price and pretend so professionally till getting the payment in their account. Beware!!!

SCAM website that is looking for bank wire transfers in order to receive money with little to no recourse. Will not accept Credit card payments or other forms of funds transfer that can be stopped and rectified. Do not order from this website, as you will not receive your material and your money will be near impossible to get back.

Is there a Negatve start I can give Component Store for being master scammers? Like a - 5 (or -500) Stars or something?

Man! I was about to hit the send button on the wire transfer. Then it hit me! My new found scammer Ben Leung made the mistake of responding to my emails 3 in the morning Hong Kong time. Who in the world answers emails 3 AM for a few hundred dollars? Only scammers!

Components World has same Address, same phone number and same fax number.

Components World is a very news website, registered in Sept. 2022 with same contact information.

Both phone and fax number doesn't work.

Don't waste your money.
