Have you ever sat through a timeshare…
Have you ever sat through a timeshare convention? Did you like it? Well, that is what you’re going to get with this company. The first two hours of the course is doom and gloom. They scare you or attempt to make you feel like it isn’t even possibly worth having a CCW permit then at the end of the first two hours after making you feel that maybe this wasn’t the right decision, they pop out an application and say, but we have you covered for this much a month for the basic all the way up to your nationwide coverage. Then at the beginning of hour number three the real instructor steps out and says now that we’ve covered 5% of the course we can get started on the rest after you’ve already sat there for 2 hours. That was probably the worst of it for me because I felt scammed, constant push to sell you this coverage. High pressure sales that should have no part when people are trying to learn and retain important information regarding firearms and carrying them. To make another small point they’re selling you this CCW insurance before you even have an opportunity to apply for the CCW permit through your local sheriffs office so keep in mind you may not even qualify for the permit and now you’ve signed up for the coverage. Onto the next, apparently that morning they had gotten a call from the local range stating that the range had been struck by lightning the night before. They were advised that the range was not available. Instead of informing us that we would not be able to shoot that day they kept us there anyway, and put us through all that training just to try and reschedule us later down the road to shoot. In my particular circumstances, I took the course that day because I was going to be out of the country and instead wasted an entire day because now all the days that they’ve rescheduled me or said we’re available to shoot I am no longer available. They did have one day August 29, 2026 that I could attend the range shoot but they canceled that after scheduling it and then will only work with me on other scheduled days of other scheduled events that they were going to be here with anyways. No work around for their problem. I am also a member of a law-enforcement officers range club. I did offer to escort everybody to our range, but Mr. Yates with concealed coalition didn’t want anything to do with that. Clearly he was there to only sell us the CCW insurance. As a retired law-enforcement officer, I would advise individuals to stay clear of this organization. It is designed to optimize profit, not education. Find yourself, your local, small town, instructor, and sit down in a small class and actually get the education that you need to safely handle and understand what your responsibilities are when carrying a firearm concealed. Good luck be safe.

It is always our goal to provide top-notch, professional training courses, however, we fully understand that our team isn’t for everyone. Most of our instructors come from military or law enforcement backgrounds and are highly qualified to teach responsible firearm ownership and carry.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the live fire portion of this particular course needed to be rescheduled. We provided ample options throughout the upcoming months to accommodate individuals as best as possible.
Our courses cover topics such as firearm best practices for safety and handling, state-specific laws, situational awareness, threat avoidance, child access prevention, and measured responses to danger. The highly beneficial training meets all qualifications for permit application. We do take a brief portion of our course to cover your legal options as this is an important component of responsible firearm ownership and carry rights. We are sorry to hear that you did not see value in or benefit from this part of the class.
